Excellent video! This is really one of the best guides on visiting Misool/Raja Ampat. No one else covers the practical details, accommodations and transport the way you do here. I'm definitely going to use this video when I finally plan my trip to Misool. Please keep up the excellent work!
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed this video and found it helpful! I'll make more informative videos like this in the future about other islands and regions, too!
Awesome video, really appreciate the maps and information on locations, great to reference the map often. I'm planning to head there on my sailboat later in the year and will definitely keep this in mind and watch again closer to the time so thanks very much! Did you see many cruisers there? Also, your drone footage is spectacular. Thanks again for making this series😊
Thanks a lot for the in depth insight of the area. Do you recommend staying at one homestay and doing daily excursions or move around at various homestays? Are the ferries running so irregularly from Sorong? Thanks in advance :)
@@ShilohSaatori-y2c When I was there, the ferry went once a week, and if you plan to go by the ferry, you either have 3 days or 10 days. Going around Misool is quite expensive, but staying at a homestay and not going around would be a huge mistake. Misool has lots of gorgeous spots, so it is best to spend the full 3 days going around by boat, so staying at one homestay makes more sense. If you have a larger budget and you can spend 10 days, you could stay at 2-3 different homestays (but you should still try to go around as much as you can).
@@HighOnLowTide Thanks a lot for the info. I assume private boats from Sorong to Misool are not an option? Or travelling from Misool to other islands like Gam? Thanks for all the help so far :)
@@ShilohSaatori-y2c Private boat charter would be super expensive, because the distance between Sorong and Misool is very big. Gam is in an other direction (north from Sorong while Misool is to the south). From Misool, the ferry goes towards Seram island in Maluku, but that’s not Raja Ampat anymore.
Hi, I had to check and I found 2 numbers, try these: +62 812-3769-3078 and +6282248017977, try sending a message on Whatsapp, that`s the main platform in Indonesia.
Super underrated channel
Thank you!

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it! I did not see many other boats while I was there (I saw one huge yacht, but nothing else).
