They don't have a Blues category... Beatsource. I'm on my free trial right now.

I love it!!! The only thing missing is intros, outro's, dj edits, exclusive remixes, etc.... not complaining just saying.

Only thing I want is a bigger file locker also, anything less than 500 songs is too small but for their pricing it should honestly it should only be limited to your own device storage as you don’t own the songs anyway. Hopefully they will be able to negotiate for more (if that’s the reason they don’t have more already). It’s really the last piece needed to shift most of the community to using streaming exclusively.

the file locker is the final frontier they need it to take over the industry, I heard its coming soon not sure how large it is yet but it is coming.

@@DJKeo Interesting that regular music consumers using services like (Tidal, Apple Music, & Spotify) are actually on the more cutting edge than the DJs and we are supposed to be the professionals. For $10 a month you get access to pretty much everything you can think of and can download as much as you want to your devices. I would be happy with paying $25- 30 a month for the same features using DJ equipment if I had to.

I was aslo shocked they gave us all the music on the new 6.5 instead of having to pay for each track on top of the subscription I am a member since day 1

I dont like that I dont own my own music that im paying for, meaning its limited to their platform, if i buy misic i want to incorporate it to my dj library playlist like DJ pools this method i dont technically own the music, or am i missing something.

The only way record pool will do this if the DJ can own the music if not some of them will still be around

its definitely a factor and a major sticking point for me personally which is why I continue to acquire music but I recognize this is the future so might as well guide this thing on the ground floor and make it better

If they have a good framework that allows the system to grow and be enhanced with updates, there’s a world where certain updates can just be pushed to everyone so at login the change is there (a ton of nuance necessary here, maybe a revert button or install update like mobile devices). They may have to rebuild to infrastructure from the ground up to allow for this. It can be done simultaneously with out disrupting service. Do the hard reset once so they can innovate easier and more efficiently based on what DJs need and modern technology available.
Whoever invests in doing this first stands to win Big and will force the hand of all other competitors. Us DJs need these software companies to compete for our business. They need us to survive and thrive. Give us what we want and need not “here’s what we came up with that should work for now” and the only way to do this is to have a platform preferably with an open api that is built for innovation and sustainable growth.

This 100% I think the original structure for the dj software was basic but we are well past that I look at a system like android they made their infrastructure in a way to allow simple updates without bricking the entire system as does apple to some degree I think I should do a larger video and flesh out my thoughts on this problem

@@DJKeo yes this needs a video for sure. I work in another industry on the software side of things and it is a constant headache when companies risk not doing the work and still forcing “updates and enhancements” there’s a ceiling and it will eventually break the entire system and sacrifice performance. We have to start screaming it until they begin asking questions. Look at other industries, see what works well and what doesn’t work at all, repurpose the good with the data and intelligence of DJs and musical professionals and marry it all up.
There’s TEEWWW MUCH data and information out here to not make the necessary changes Or demands.
I will say they should be expedient before a real tech giant comes in and builds the right team and crushes everything else… or we do it ourselves and only invest in that. Imagine if everyone got behind a beat source or insert a software that willing to say yes tell us what’s what.
