Just curious, the way things were worded in some of the pre-release season 7 posts from AGS it seemed like they were saying that you get a damage bonus just from having an ethereal weapon. Is that the case, or is the 'damage bonus' just the extra perk the weapon has on it?
Also if you go into OPR with this stuff does it just turn into normal gear I would guess?
Oh ye you get a 20% base damage bonus on ethereal and conqueror gear. Yep converts to normal perks in opr.
suprised there was no mention of Brightwood elite area that you can farm on your own with the chest there as well getting 15 per crate and 10 per lvl 35 add and the chest arent elite so they come up every 15 mins

do you keep wrathstone gear after server ends and you transfer over to a normal server?
it converts to regular gear with pvp perks at max 715gs
So what are the main differences in PvP servers vs regular other than PvP flagged permanently?

So is it not boosted XP, trade skills etc? I thought this was a full pvp focus not another chance to farm from lvl 0
I probably should have mentioned that myb, so all tradeskills/professions are boosted by 25% and one Conqueror craft gives 1 Million XP to the tradeskill of what you are crafting(you can see it when I craft the detriment musket)
Do we need to create a new character every new season on the pvp servers? So we have to do the whole questline over and over?
Next season, there will be a different server type. But you will need to create a new character. On the PvP servers you only need to do the MSQ if you want to access Elysian Wilds for artifacts there. The quickest way to level is by chopping down trees and converting wood into ethereal dust and using that ethereal dust to create ethereal animus which give 2500+ XP when opened. It's a boring way to level, but you can get to 65 in 6-7 hours just chopping down trees right outside of town where you can't be attacked. Doing the MSQ at low levels is nearly impossible because 65s camp low level areas.
Can you lose ethereal gear in opr?

Do you need a ethereal pickaxe to get wrathstone if your farming ore/stone or could have a ethereal sickle n it still drops?
I'm pretty sure it needs to be on the tool you're actively using, but I haven't tested it. Pretty easy to test though. If you're using an ethereal tool, you'll get the stones within the first few uses of it, drop rate is pretty decent.

For elysian if you want artifacts yes
You will want too if you want entrance to wilds and if you want your heart ruin ability
Problem is its very very easy to loose that gear.. so idk if its even worth it. Better stick to etereal 700gs. Its quite cheap. Or just some named gear 😅

It’s worth it have been having lots of fun with the lower lvl fights. Easy to lvl easy to craft and lots of interesting encounters!
