Good thing her father became aware of this and stepped in to help financially. If she could trim the smaller nails is besides the point. May not have had the right clippers, then got out of hand. We don't know her history or her underlying isues. Do not judge a person based on these. Fear of pain can absolutely make you perceive pain just like seeing a TH-cam video of someone breaking a leg can send a jolt of pain down your spine
@@philippeleblanc2953it is perfectly reasonable to acknowledge that the alleged pain appears to be psychosomatic. It’s also reasonable to be of the opinion that validating someone’s imagined experiences is not a sound approach to take. I’ll never understand how nails can get so bad.. like how is that possible for them to get that way?? It’s so thick it’s more like a rock on her foot than a nail..
Is there a way for you to keep the patient from seeing what you are doing? She probably has sensitivity issue. Keeping her from seeing what is goin on might help her. At some hospitals they give kids an iPad so they aren’t paying attention to what’s going on. Also the numbing shot hurts more than the nipping of the nails. I’ve had a nail removed and the needle was more painful. Lol!
Why hide what you are doing? Not knowing is far more scary than knowing what is happening. It is true that the shots hurt worse. I once had a splinter I couldn't get out, and the physician insisted on an injection for "pain" that felt like a nail going through my foot. Then he couldn't understand why I refused more. Getting out a splinter isn't really all that painful compared to the shots.

I was tickled at your trying so hard to keep her distracted ❤! Plus, she did not really understand what she was in for much less about the importance of trying to deal with the fungus!! And I wish you had a water spray with your Dremel, plus a smaller bit to help get next to the cuticles 😊
So gentle and kind!
Andrej
I love Dr. Kim, he has a great bedside manner!!
He educates you and explains every process of your treatment.
Love being his patient.❤️
There's not a nail shop around wants a customer like this, starts screaming when you touch her nails.i bet she's a joy to live with.
She does seem to have some issues.
And how weird is it, to think it’s normal to experience a pain in your back because someone has broken their leg.
‼️ WOW…that was loads of fun…plenty of CHUNKS and heaps of GUNK…just the way we like it‼️
WOWZA! Those were some gnarly puppies 🐶
Fantastic job,,Dr Kim,,, thankyou,so much,,,you are a super man,,,you are so good man,,,you make people happy,,,
Would I find very frustrating is there's over two million views on this video dr. Kim doesn't even have over 200k subscribers. It costs nothing to subscribe or two like and it really helps out with his channel. I think it's disrespectful for people to enjoy content for free and not subscribe. If you notice he doesn't have any special membership join option where he saves the best videos for paying viewers. He just gives everyone great content and offers an enormous amount of wisdom at the same time. In case you can't tell I think very highly love this doctor.
U have so much patience, Dr. Ho. U did a fine job.👍🏼👍🏼👏🏽👏🏽
we have habits not able to logically explain. She feels much fears for cutting nails. You, doc totally helped her with Great work and kindness ❤
I have a similar situation. What I have seen give me the power to go to a doctor.Congratulations! Where you,in what state? I live in Orange,California.
What a beautiful report with this young girl. She was super cut. Thank you for sharing with us.
I’ll never understand how nails can get so bad.. like how is that possible for them to get that way?? It’s so thick it’s more like a rock on her foot than a nail..
While these toes look a lot better than when he started, he could have changed the file head of that machine & got a much better finish
Amazing!! Never saw anything like this.
Love watching these while having supper
My goodness. Bless her heart. So glad you were able to help her.
I think she must be special needs. Good job Dr
Parabéns pelo seu trabalho
The doctor truly knows his stuff and this was very interesting.
SCORE🎉!!!!🎉 What an amazing little tool👍
Good lord… this Dr has extreme patience. 🤦🏻♀️
Very good job.
Our Federal Govt. should provide nail care for the elderly and the special needs as a matter of human dignity.
I’m on Medicare in the US and it pays for me to have my nails cut every 9 weeks.
DOC . . . YOU ~ ROCK ! ! 🤛
Io ho 53 anni e faccio già fatica a raggiungere i miei piedi
This patient that is having her nails cut . Is obviously a special needs person . She is there w/ her dad , so I guessing he has to make sure this is done more frequently . So the next time she will not go through being uncomfortable!!
So awful to be in this condition! Thank you, dr, for your care and compassion!!
Awesome job!! Well done you!
How long did it take for nails to get like this? Wow!
Have somebody whack your big toe with something hard like that eventually. The trauma does that
Este so corta
Seeing all of the “matter” under her toenails made mine hurt. I cannot imagine how much it hurt to walk around like that. I’m going to cut mine right now. Glad she was able to have that done.
Watching this funny made You wanna cut your toe nails is so Hilarious 😂
So sorry but I couldn’t stop laughing at the doctor every time she said ahhh the doctor jumped 😅 17:52
Don’t act like you didn’t jump at 4:15😂😂
Patient: *jerks* “ahhh!”
Doc: *jumps* “oohh”
With the hardest nails he used the softer and smallest tools 😂
Really don’t like him asking about money all the time, not good practice
He’s being funny…idiot
Sll
All about the money
She brought up money. It seems as though she may be special-needs, and he kept joking and talking with her about money to distract her.
Excelente trabajo
Meu Deus que paciência Que o senhor
Tem fez um bom trabalho
I did not realize toe nails can get so thick ! How long does it take to get so long? And THICK!?
They get thick from the fungus.
How did you numb it
Shots
O profissional está de parabéns
