    I love the way that you handle your horses...it is far more natural that the horse living in a box stall all his life. Great work, all your horses look happy and healthy!

    Are you sure 66 is a stallion? Lol!! He does act like an old gelding. He's an awesome horse. Y'all are blessed to have him. With his disposition and confirmation, you can't go wrong with him. I love love love the dun foal out of the palamino. In another month or so you'll never be able to tell its little legs were crooked. Love y'alls videos. It's one of the first things I do in the morning is hop on TH-cam and watch your videos. God bless!!

    Ahh..in heat horses. I was around 10 and we went to friend's farm to get milk and visit. As we are driving in I say MOM, look. That horse is riding on the other one. She had to have glanced over!! Her response was. DON,T LOOK AT THAT! Still cracks me up over 50 years later. I truly didn't know what they were doing, but her response let me know it was on her taboo list.

    Actually it is coincidence that foals scour when mares are in heat. They are starting to eat things with mare that their gut cannot digest yet. Studies showed it not hormones from mare as we thought for so many years. Subscribe to The Horse magazine and get all the latest updates on equine health issues. It is very reasonable. Love your videos.

    To help keep the burrs out of their mane and tails you can try mane and tail spray in both their mane and tails before you put them out to pasture. It helped my horses. Made it easier to remove them.

    Love the musical horse rotation. Those babies are getting quite the lesson today. Being rounded up, trailered, a ride, and new home to explore. Love 66's mentality. You put a lot of work into him. I raised 6 stallions. Only 2 had to be man handled. Being only 101 lbs. They took advantage of me and after that I called in the big gun(chain over the nose). Oh the lead will but the jewels started to take over the brain. I have a question I noticed that you don't back your trailer through your pasture gate. Why is that? I would be afraid that something meant spook a horse and turn for an out. Also me it would be a safety thing. Thanks for an awesome video. Blake you are an awesome rider.

      For me like to breed my mares when they are fully developed. And a year of training. That would bring them about 5 or 6. For training I like to see there knee joints closed.

    • @lindamaskus5142
      @lindamaskus5142 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Squiggle. It depends on the horse. Some people will breed them as 3-4 year olds, many people like to wait until 5-6 . It really depends on who the owner is, and what the horses will be used for.
