can't believe how much the game has changed. devs did a good job. the first version of the game had Amanda showing no signs of humanity, being a completely emotionless and evil entity that stops at nothing to kill wooly and the player. in this version, she's aware of herself, has emotions and is actually more human. kinda makes me realize this release tells a pretty sad story, while the first version was just 100% horror. it actually gave me nightmares before. Amanda was like satan bro.

Medical malpractice is honestly more frightening, given that it's the 3rd leading cause of death in the US.
Amanda commited kidnapping(made wooly sleep by giving him milk with a substance that made him sleep) and then took him to a dark abandoned hospital and kept him captive, aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon (the bone saw), wooly is an animal so she technically also commited animal abuse and finally first degree murder
In the entire series she commits uhhh let's see, Intimidation, Animal Abuse, Kidnapping, Assault, Home Invasion, Many First Degree and Second Degree murders, Property Damage and maybe more although not sure, See You on Death Row, Amanda (Rebecca)!
Yes i know the original comment is a joke but i still wanted to point this out.
The relationship between Amanda and Wooly is really sad, Amanda often disregards and outright ignores him throughout the story, mistreating him and killing him. Even in his attempts to stand up against her or begging her to stop, he's powerless. Despite that, Wooly still treated her kindly. It was odd to see how Amanda acted on his birthday, wishing for the present to be perfect, and getting angry when it didn't go as planned. Only to end up killing her friend for no good reason. The Lonely Kitten incident raises more questions, when she asks the player to help it, she's most likely referring to herself; Even though Wooly dealt with her behavior and she claims to consider him her friend, Amanda doesn't acknowledge him in that moment. Instead, we're greeted with a twisted smile from her before the tape cuts out when you answer yes. It makes me wonder if that's supposed to hint/foreshadow at something that happened between the characters within the story, as we didn't get a lot of clarity.
My guess. Possibly represents someone that took Amanda who acted nice but deep down was evil but that’s all I got judging Amanda in lore was kidnapped. I mean rebbica

here's another theory, Wooly literally can't die. like he died many other ways in other tapes but yet he comes back due to the tapes having other episodes. (which pretty much explains some previous phrases on him not caring about what happens to him)

This specific scene is the most well made end of a tape, even better if you help Amanda because we get to see even more of that detailed effort, I've gone back to rewatch the help Amanda scene several times now, and I don't plan on stopping

Every single time Wooly is erased or otherwise taken out the facade drops immediately. Right after this she just straight up starts giving you lock codes and then shares the big secret. That combined with Wooly always trying to steer us away from talking to Rebecca leads me to believe he may not be malicious but he is in the way of Rebecca's soul surfacing in Amanda somehow.
And that my friend is how wooly reincarnated into a cult leader on his after life.

I just searched for the meaning of the word “adnama” (amanda spelled backwards) and one of the meanings that i found is to describe a person who is “like an angel that just walked right out from heaven” and knowing that amanda is the same thing but backwards it could mean the oposite-

I think Wooly is Sam Colton. If you've recovered all the secret tapes, its pretty obvious that executives at Hameln were using Rebecca, his adopted daughter, to summon an evil entity, likely seeing it as their god. They got rid if Sam by turning him into Wooly, which is why he cares about her so much. I'd say, just like Amanda, he's lost a majority of his original memories, and the experiments done on her by the soulless corporation has resulted in the loss of a majority of her humanity, making it pretty easy for her to torment the one person on Earth who's ever shown her any true love. Deep down, she blames him for not protecting her.

@@smcphee8499 Amanda is a character that Rebecca, Sam Colton's adopted daughter, voiced while still a child after her adopted father Sam, created the Amanda the Adventurer series inspired by his love and devotion to his newfound daughter. After it's success on local broadcasting, it was picked up by a corporate conglomerate, along the lines of Disney and Nickelodeon, and they used Sam's adopted daughter to summon and be possessed by their evil god. Her consciousness, along with the demon, was then somehow trapped in the animated series files or something like that. That's not really debatable, my theory just presents the idea that her adopted father, seeing how he's missing and how deeply Wooly cares for Amanda/Rebecca, probably has his soul residing within Wooly.
this scene’s setting was so different from the other ones, the shadows and weapons are so genuinely disturbing, especially when transitioning from a bright setting.

It's so complicated to understand Amanda.. it's like.. she definitely has a motivation- but I'd like to know why she dislikes Wooly.
Thing is, at the true ending it seems "something" started to attack after Amanda said that she's out there, that something doesn't want the truth to be revealed. Thus, why would Amanda try to kill Wooly if he's technically trying to help in a way? What I believe is that.. Amanda isn't one person.. but two.. which would explain her weird personality swaps from being a monster to a scared child
Additionally... Wooly CAN manipulate the game aswell.. but he's playing the sacrificial lamb for some reason.. either he's actually bad, or, hes aware that Amanda is far stronger. But then it gets weird -youre in a fictional place - everything is possible.. no? Can't you manipulate the place to be to your advantage? But whatever, i highly doubt hes evil. Anyway the one in Amanda probably isn't only Rebecca.. because Rebecca is only a child, she wouldn't know that many twisted things.. unless she isn't the only one being Amanda

That's probally true cause in the bad ending (The one from the Everything Rots Tape) after you say that you can become Amanda's friend, she says its too late just before the Spider Amanda monster breaks in and kills the player, the demon most likely took over already and was ready to kill the player
I thought Amanda got corrupted by a demon and tries to kill Wooly, but Wooly knew that she is being werid and not normal

The drugging part seems like what you would tell a kid to get them to do something in a scary situation, maybe wooly is a doctor and that’s what he said to amanda
I think i know how Wooly is still alive. At the end, the tape finishes itself. So that's why Wooly didn't die, if I'm not wrong, if the tape finishes, it means the whole episode finished, so everything happens will reset to the next tape. If only Amanda killed Wooly at the beginnig of the episode, she could've killed Wooly permanently, maybe when the tape is loading up, Amanda is in control of that episode, when at the end she lost control of the tape. Or the episode is about to finish so Amanda can't use her power fully.
When an episode finished, everything resets to the next episode to a freshly new episode. The credit, it has all control, when episode ends they will roll a credit. Allowing Amanda and Wooly to get reset for next episode. If Wooly died at the beginning of the tape, the next tape would be different

Riley could be the character you were playing right now.
I am very well unsure, about 75% sure and the other 25% isn't.

Probably one of the characters in the hidden tapes whose investigating of the happenings, or could be an escapee that could be a potential ally with the character, probably even both.

As of he tapes right now, he could be the barn, there were some clues like Amanda saying "How did you know?"
The barn looked at you right before a static event.

The shifted rooms are from none other than the show itself, all the things are going on while you were looking at the tv, but you couldn't swipe your head off unless you pause the video.
It's kind of forced gameplay, the next updates if there were be should be about helping to solve the issue.
The robot was helping you drive to safety since everything is forced, nonetheless, the character couldn't save anything other than itself.
Still, there was few attempts of the others trying to dig deeper, but dies because they lack information.

I have a theory that the brand that made amanda the adventurer into a cartoon is a cult that possesed Rebecca (aka amanda) or just did some horrid stuff to her and before that could happend they killed her dad Sam because he didn't want his daughter to take part of it anymore and that's why he and Rebecca are missing. We don't really know if Rebecca is still alive but she says ''Im out there somewhere'' however that could also be reffering to her corpse and asking the player to find it and help her cause she also says ''Sometimes i feel myself rotting''. Which would make sense why the cartoon is so corrupted, cause her spirit is reaching for help while her soul is trapped in the cartoon.Or she is still alive and her conciousness is trapped inside the cartoon because the producers exorcised her to be there while her body is took over by a demon cause as we know amanda can actually come for us in a demonic form (by that i mean that while her conciousness is trapped in the game her psychical form is took over by a demon). If we knew who wooly is that might of explained a lot more cause wooly is very aware that he is also trapped and constantly breaks the fourth wall as if he was also a soul, he warns us and is clearly our ally unlike amanda, somebody mentioned it could be Sam but to be honest as long as it makes sense because he is missing i dont think amanda would despise him so much and even try to kill him. For now we need to find out who the red fedora man is
