In the preview versions, it was pretty easy to see Amanda as the villain, but in this she shows genuine emotion, like something is influencing her, using her corpse as a puppet and mutating her as her suffering goes beyond death.
Yea,f.e she is sad that the kitten is lonely, actually becomes kinda scared when she Asked if everything rots.she kinda Has like two personaltys but the "personalities" being scary little girl in a TV show and litteral fucking demon
Probably the best example of this is the candy store tape. "Why can't I stop it" really makes you wonder what's going on.

Wooly on old version had no ears that have sense i see it before
The first version gives me creepier vibes but the full game is way more fleshed out, like multiple endings instead of just one, they added so much more to the full game but the first version is still scarier in my opinion

For some point, old/scrapped version of the game has darker story than the current one (like the brother and grandma thingy, idk why they changed that but still good btw)
There I read that it was to disguise Amanda a little more as a more childish girl, surely I will put that in future updates

Some parts make it more creepy
In my opinion, the final makes it a little bit more creepy to me because it feels like you’re actually watching a 90s/early 2000 CGI kids show like a Dora or something

You can probably notice in the game there is an ending where you become meat with eyes and people around you got eyes. And in the beta game
Trash and trees have eyes, my theory is object are humans and got somehow transformed
Those are all the victims of those that went into the cartoon. Thats why Amanda reacted so sad when they were in there in the final version
2023 characters are more alive than before, emotions are better developed.

That smile in 1:01 is just terrifying and also in 3:00 you can hear another voice repeating her at the same time.. what that voice is, is her demon voice, or like a strange voice repeating her, when she said “I said aren’t you excited?” It’s a little bit hard to hear but if you listen closely you will hear it

When you play the game for the first time as 16 years old:

8 think because they might actually be people? Take the barn for example it started breathing and it's eyes are bloodshot
That’s very true Also the barn looks very scared like Amanda is controlling it but it is still not being controlled
It's easy to tell that everything with eyes are her victims because in the meat man ending we get teleported to become a meat so everything with eyes is just her trapped victims
I wish the old scenes were the prologue before the rest of the tapes. It would be kinda nice for nostalgia, y’know.
Its kinda sad for amanda idk why but somehow she just wants to be free without hurting anyone at the end

the regular amanda was way scarier in the first game, but the monster is much much better
seeing this video made me realise how they changed the animation and voice acting! and wooly does look better with ears! and Amanda changed but i cant tell whats different!

Amanda got probably retexturized and her model got more polygons cuz it's higher quality than before and wooly got a complete new model

The old ver (beta): she is glitch and jumpscare (kinda confuse)
The demo ver: her eyes have some white thing in her face and start enter the house
The bad ending of the recent version is pretty unrealistic. I mean, who will just stand here and looking at the monster charging at you ? Normally, your instinct would just kick in and yelling at you to protect yourself or even try to flee.
In this version, it look like the guy is embracing his death or just saying hi to the monster.
The player could be experiencing shock and just stuck there while the heart is racing. But that's also a valid point.

i think that someone was controlling amanda so that amanda would be "friends" with wooly and they are both stuck in the same dimension, and someone or something is turning her into a monster
