Why do they take so long to fruit🥲 I would move that variety under a tree that doesn't do well in the summer.

They do take a long time to fruit, but so worth the wait. I have had Big Jim shaded and it still stresses in the heat here. Just think it's not the best variety for this local area. It's the only one out of all the varieties that struggle.
