I love the fact that by all means Iori just a normal human magus with very limited training in magecraft, and yet through the sheer absurdity of swordsmnaship in the Fate series, he can rival some of the most skilled and impressive servants.

Ok, something I want to call out with Emiya-Assassin is... That he can basically PAUSE TIME, it isn't even close, even if Iori actually got in close range, Kerry's Time Alter powers+whatever other nonsensical magecraft he uses to basically simulate pausing time, would allow him to just put a a whole round of bullets through Iori's skull. Infact, Kerry's own profile calls him the "Ultimate Anti-Personell Servant". People sleeping on my man Kiritsugu.
Iori is yet another example of an ordinary person who achieved the status of being able to go head to head with legendary heroes just with pure technique and skill.

Hot take: Saint Georgios can take him. He's a divine Spirit, Ascalon can give him conceptual advantage pretty much all the time by giving the dragon Trait, and he has a Noble Phantasm that can nulify any Damage one time, I think that Georgios has enough durability to wait for the perfect moment when Iori has his guard down, nulify the Attack and Strike with Ascalon. Now, if Iori survives that hit I don't know, If he can he Wins.
31:20 Gao bolg works differently than Tsubame Gaeshi, Fragarach negates the attack by reversing time as if it never happened and killing the opponent. However Gao bolg reverses causality by causing the wound first, before the actual attack. hence them killing eachother. Tsubame Gaeshi does 3 (6 for Iori) simultaneously, which is nothing extra that Fragarach can't completely negate. the slashes themself aren't conceptual, unlike Gao bolg.
Iori is probably my new favourite character in Fate/Nasuverse, I love him and his development is incredible and he gives me the vibe of if he puts his mind to it he can truly do it, also as Musashi said he was born in the wrong era now that he is in Chaldea he has an endless supply of people he can fight and grow stronger from, just remember Iori fought gil maybe not fully serious but he fought him and lived to tell the tale, also Gil respects him and even asked him to be his retainer that amount of praise from the likes of Gil is insane.

With multiple authority she used in game attack, EX rank strength, I don't think lori is tanking any of her attack with only C rank endurance, Also her np release the true name of all 10 divine NP at once, good luck surviving that.

Artoria actually would technically have a even worse match up to Iori then even Kojirou because Artoria was able to sense and barely dodge Tsubame Gaeshi twice because of Instinct and bending his sword and that was more because of where Kojirou attacked from that let Artoria dodge out. Now one had 3 strikes at the same time that Artoria barely dodged. Now have 6 at once. Basic math there.
Na. Dioscuri would win. Light speed for W. But from everything being said Iori's strength really does come down to the fact he has a tsubame gaishi of a greater level than Sasaki and so Miamoto by proxy. But weaker in every other aspect, so in a normal fight of skills he would lose to most servants. But in that 1 aspect, his noble phantasm, he is the greatest.
His noble phantasm is pure skill tho,vlid stance is basically a watered down version of his noble phantasm so I would disagree with your latter statement

Hot Takes: Bedivere cooks Iori. Bedi has a much higher stats and also have skills called "Tactics" and "Calm and Collected". Due to this skills Bedi will always be level headed and not get flustered easily and can employ new tactics on the spot to beat his enemy. It is almost similar to the "Instinct" Skill so there is a high chance he can survive the "Swallow Reversal Technique" How can Iori even defend himself from getting Excali-slap or beamed by Bedi? LOL~~
Calm and Collected isn't Instincts. It just makes you as the name said. Calm a collected. Tactics are also more for buffing your army, not for solo fights as in a duel it's completely different tactics. Also the same way Iori actually has a good shot of beating Artoria is why he beats Bedivere even easier. Bedivere can't even use Mana Burst to keep up with Iori in speed. His best shot would be legit stay in one place and have Iori come to him and to try and break Iori's swords like Artoria did to Kojirou's. But this requires Bedivere to actually do that which will be a lot harder when the best weapon for him to do that is his right arm which Iori can actually deal with even better then against Artoria because its his arm. It's literally on one side of him and basic logic of how Bedivere can attack with it states just staying to one side frees up Iori to fight Bedivere better and not worry about Airgetlam as much as your thinking he would. He just has to stay to one side of him and he's good. Your also talking like Artoria wasn't getting shook by Kojirou who actually has the skill closer to Calm and Collected. His Vitrification skill which is his 2nd skill that on a literal level says serene thought process that keeps him unaffected by a majority of mental interference.
@@RavenCloak13 Excuse me but my Bedi has a better Strength and Agility Stat than Iori. 1. Iori cannot Speed Blitz Bedi because based on parameters alone Bedi is much faster and agile than him. 2. Do not assume that Bedi has only his arm as a weapon, remember he has a nameless sword that he always use in battle (Look at his Animation) 3. Furthermore as a member of the Round Table Bedi can be considered an "Excellent Swordman". His above average sword skill paired with his "Calm and Collected skill" and a better Strength Stat, I'm sure Bedi cant be outclassed by Iori in a one on one sword fight. 4. Bedi summoned in a saber class container is far more superior than his counterpart (which is still a human btw) in the Camelot singularity. The (Human) Bedi even defeated some Knights of the Round, just imagine how strong he is in a servant container. There, I rest my case~~😜
So I dont know if you've done this. But maybe you could do a"dont sleep" video on this character or if not that just a video about this character in general for people who dont k how about him (me included as I'm not that well versed in fate. Also I'm talking about iori miomoto just to be clear)
He isn't though 😅, most servants in this list either outhax him (majority here), speed blitz him (Achilles, Cu/Cualter/Scatchach, Chiron), nuke him (the Artorias) or straight up tank his attacks (siegfried, gawain, mordred and barghest)
like @knightofthelake8112 had said , most of them outperforms Iori , that is why it's funny. Siegfried alone is an example of a character that Iori cannot do anything , as Armor of Fafnir pretty much ranks down the damage received. Or how Iori lacks a way to kill Heracles 12 times.

It feel very much like Tsiah I very much underestimate Artoria Instinct skill the thing that helps her react to such skill he even said Avlone wouldn't help. Sorry but how can it not as long as her Head and/or spirt core are intact she can instantly heal Artoria and change to fight in a appropriate manner.

And she didn't even fight seriously, cause in a plain terrain one strike air is annihilating sasaki and iori
I know fate probably doesn't follow the same real life stuff but even a spear man who's just a bit above a novice can be a challenge to someone who is a master with a sword, simply because the spear is more easy to use & range is king.

I’d say that Li Shuwen(Old/Young) and Saito soundly defeat Iori. They’re techniques surprisingly do Iori dirty that makes Tsubame Gaeshi mute especially if one is out of Range and the other destroys your sense of time. I also say Yagyu and Okada clear him

This video was a great watch! Genuinely enjoyed it from start to finish! I'm so close to finishing my first playthrough of F/SR and the DLC just dropped too! I'm on the last act of the story and my workshop is only like level 3 and have yet to beat the Gilgamesh boss fight! Also as a Mysterious Heroines enjoyer, I gotta say that they could easily just blow up the planet and leave. Don't even entertain getting near Iori's range. Then stop by the nearest planet with spicy curry 🍛.

I just got a question since Saber Artoria is the living servent and she was actually alive in all 3 routes and fate zero. except heavens feels she didn't die at the end holy grail war she was just sent back to her original time and then she died there but what about heavens feel shiro actually stabbed her which actually causes her death then what about her original death in HF did she went back
Tsubame gaeshi doesn't pass avalon, remember that in UBW nerf altria survived sasaki NP twice with her instinct alone? Sasaki even failed to kill archer one of the weakest servants in terms of hand-to-hand combats. At the end of the day avalon tanks EA in fate routes while tsubame gaeshi are only 3/6 consecutive attack (not conceptual) so it can't bypass avalon and you can dodge that as long as you have good instinct like saber.

With multiple authority she used in game attack, EX rank strength, I don't think lori is tanking any of her attack with only C rank endurance, Also her np release the true name of all 10 divine NP at once, good luck surviving that.
Never forget that EX rank means outside of the system. It could be greater than A or less than E.

Artoria actually would technically have a even worse match up to Iori then even Kojirou because Artoria was able to sense and barely dodge Tsubame Gaeshi twice because of Instinct and bending his sword and that was more because of where Kojirou attacked from that let Artoria dodge out.
Now one had 3 strikes at the same time that Artoria barely dodged. Now have 6 at once.

Hot Takes: Bedivere cooks Iori. Bedi has a much higher stats and also have skills called "Tactics" and "Calm and Collected". Due to this skills Bedi will always be level headed and not get flustered easily and can employ new tactics on the spot to beat his enemy. It is almost similar to the "Instinct" Skill so there is a high chance he can survive the "Swallow Reversal Technique"
How can Iori even defend himself from getting Excali-slap or beamed by Bedi? LOL~~
Calm and Collected isn't Instincts. It just makes you as the name said. Calm a collected. Tactics are also more for buffing your army, not for solo fights as in a duel it's completely different tactics.
Also the same way Iori actually has a good shot of beating Artoria is why he beats Bedivere even easier. Bedivere can't even use Mana Burst to keep up with Iori in speed. His best shot would be legit stay in one place and have Iori come to him and to try and break Iori's swords like Artoria did to Kojirou's. But this requires Bedivere to actually do that which will be a lot harder when the best weapon for him to do that is his right arm which Iori can actually deal with even better then against Artoria because its his arm.
It's literally on one side of him and basic logic of how Bedivere can attack with it states just staying to one side frees up Iori to fight Bedivere better and not worry about Airgetlam as much as your thinking he would. He just has to stay to one side of him and he's good.
Your also talking like Artoria wasn't getting shook by Kojirou who actually has the skill closer to Calm and Collected. His Vitrification skill which is his 2nd skill that on a literal level says serene thought process that keeps him unaffected by a majority of mental interference.

1. Iori cannot Speed Blitz Bedi because based on parameters alone Bedi is much faster and agile than him.
2. Do not assume that Bedi has only his arm as a weapon, remember he has a nameless sword that he always use in battle (Look at his Animation)
3. Furthermore as a member of the Round Table Bedi can be considered an "Excellent Swordman". His above average sword skill paired with his "Calm and Collected skill" and a better Strength Stat, I'm sure Bedi cant be outclassed by Iori in a one on one sword fight.
4. Bedi summoned in a saber class container is far more superior than his counterpart (which is still a human btw) in the Camelot singularity. The (Human) Bedi even defeated some Knights of the Round, just imagine how strong he is in a servant container.

Siegfried alone is an example of a character that Iori cannot do anything , as Armor of Fafnir pretty much ranks down the damage received. Or how Iori lacks a way to kill Heracles 12 times.

Yeah he is just on that hype train, artoria with Avalon can literally heal from EA's blast, some sword slashes ARE NOT beating Avalon. + sasaki had a WAY LONGER SWORD therefore more range as well as the high ground to stop saber from closing on him + the temple was actually weakening her and she still survived tsubame gaeshi (twice at that) with just her instinct. And she didn't even fight seriously, cause in a plain terrain one strike air is annihilating sasaki and iori

Tsubame gaeshi doesn't pass avalon, remember that in UBW nerf altria survived sasaki NP twice with her instinct alone? Sasaki even failed to kill archer one of the weakest servants in terms of hand-to-hand combats. At the end of the day avalon tanks EA in fate routes while tsubame gaeshi are only 3/6 consecutive attack (not conceptual) so it can't bypass avalon and you can dodge that as long as you have good instinct like saber.
