The most appealing thing about this car is the depreciation. Give it 3 years and 15k miles and you can pick these up for 60% off the original MSRP. Still a great car!!! Want one.
Look very quickly at 2:17 how when the brake light and left turn signal are both engaged, the lights create a small oval alternately flashing inside of a bigger oval. Very cool.
Nice touch with the classical music. You did a really nice job of tweeking the style of this video to match the feel or vibe of the vehicle. I almost feel like I was there with you enjoying the Bentley (I wish, lol) Well done, Nick.
Great to see someone not "over dosed" with all kinds of luxury cars - for instance a car journalist or the like. It is great to see reactions that I am sure I would express also, for instance the feel in the ventilation lever. Great!!
Hey Nick have you ever done a video on the equipment you use for filming? I'm thinking of getting into it and some of your gear looks really good and obviously produces a good result, I think there's a video in that (you may have done one already, just checking)
This Bentley is not really an Audi. It's a bigger VW Phaeton. The instrument cluster layout, the displays, the infotainment system is from a Phaeton. Even the seats with the seat adjustment buttons and everything. I don't say that it's a bad thing, it's a really great looking and luxurious car for sure. Nice video
Nick, Interested on your thoughts about the nav system. I had essentially the same iteration in my 2009 Passat CC, and it was disappointing for a VW owner. Thx.
I've always loved the flying spur, gorgeous car, would be interesting to hear your thoughts on a W12 model if you ever get the chance. I drove a W12 Audi A8 (D4 generation) and it amazed me how little the engine worked to move the car around, I'd imagine that in the Bentley it would be even more magical since they add a couple turbos to it
All I need, is my Conti-nental (flying spur) It send chills up my spine, every time I touch that wood grain wheel I own this bitch, this bitch ain't no rental (flying spur) Rolling one deep for life, fucking with phonies might get me killed I blow kush smoke, up in the air Tan leather, wrapped all around my chair I love making these haters stop and stare Shout out to God, I'ma stop and say a prayer And every time I come down the Avenue Letting the top back, is what I have to do Bad bitches, I will not chase after you Even if you say Ro this sack is for you, I'm one deep in my Bentley babe
I did talk about it but I ended up cutting that out to save time. It is very 2004, it works but it is sub par to the rest of the car and strange considering that they could just put the Audi MMI in there.
I knew they were luxurious but like you I have never been in one. That would be the ideal cross country car I'd say. I would be worried about falling asleep in those seats on a long trip though. As always great review and I always get a laugh or two in from your sense of humor.
Nick - I've always thought of Bentley as being a driver's car, as opposed to Rolls and/or Maybach which I think of as cars to be driven in (chauffeured). Is that fair?
That Bentley is pure quality, I bet you won't have to get the ironing board out a year down the line to smooth out the bentley seat belts lol. That old video you made on the M3 & the iron was funny, but a good tip me thinks!
7:03 "I can just pull this in and out all day, It's just got this perfect feel to it." Uhhm I had to look at the video again to check if you were still talking about the car.
If you have a chance to review a rolls royce, could you make a video please. I'd like to hear you opinion on both of the cars, I can't decide if I prefer Bentleys or rolls.
Nick how did you find the infotainment system in the car? I recently imported a new 2016 loaded Bentley Bentayga W12. Its extremely fast at 4 secs to 62mph and handles amazingly but overall the car is not special enough for money. All the systems are not intuitive enough and nowhere near as good as Mercedes or BMW or even an Audi (which is shares tech with). Some parts feel very cheap compared to the latest S Class Merc. The front grill a Bentley trademark is made of shiny plastic and feels so cheap to touch. The new W12 has 600hp and 900nm of torque but has turbo lag which again is not good enough for the money. A Supercharged 5.0 Range Rover is far more responsive. The heads up display is great but the car is not a big enough step up from the Audi Q7 which is shares it chassis with. So its not worth two Range Rover Vogues 5.0 SC. If you get the chance do a review of one.
Yes the infotainment system is from 2002, a real disappointment in a car at this price. I did try and talk about that in the video but it did not come out right so I edited it out. I think a lot of people want the badge over the Merc or the RR.
One of the reasons the car is being sold after 950kms from new and the RR SC is being kept. I drive a lot of different cars and still now i cant immediately get the infotainment system to do what i want while driving. Bentley are way behind other brands which was a big surprise for a car costing 200,000 pounds fully optioned. Dont leave that plastic Bentley grill exposed to the sun it might melt......
Those airline shelves were called picnic tables. I reckon I might get one of these used, not sure if I can stretch to the stuffed gorilla… after the expense.
As the leading drug lord of my area, I think I will take your advice and get rid of my black Escalade and get one of these:)
venom5809 pretty sure the Bentley will take bullets better as well
Or the S-class Guard
The most appealing thing about this car is the depreciation. Give it 3 years and 15k miles and you can pick these up for 60% off the original MSRP. Still a great car!!! Want one.
My favorite luxury sedan is the Bentley Flying Spur W12. Great car + review. Would take a Flying Spur over any S-class.
marc1093280 s class in no way competes with Bentley. Heck a8 much better than suck class.
I just like the idea of wafting to work. Nick I could see you owning one
This is the best quality picture I've ever seen on TH-cam, killer cam!
The executive nose candy tables in the back are a nice touch
Look very quickly at 2:17 how when the brake light and left turn signal are both engaged, the lights create a small oval alternately flashing inside of a bigger oval. Very cool.
Willy Lamb thanks for pointing that out. I thought I saw something but just assumed it was the lighting
You should totally get a Continental GT after the 911! Loaded 911s are so expensive these days that a Bentley wouldn't be much more! lol
Nice touch with the classical music. You did a really nice job of tweeking the style of this video to match the feel or vibe of the vehicle. I almost feel like I was there with you enjoying the Bentley (I wish, lol) Well done, Nick.
Good to see where your $20 bills are going.
not at strip clubs lol
Nick! Glad to see a new video from you. Don't let real life get in the way of giving us more content! ;-)
gave this a thumbs up about 1.23 seconds into the video. great as usual
Nick- nice to see how much you enjoy motoring.
Lmao "room for 3 or 4 in the back" - also agree that the restaurant you showed is great. My wife and I frequent it as well.
7:06- That's what she said...
harambe used to sit in the back
#dicksout
so what did you think of the seats?
I did not really notice the seats
Excellent Nick. Your first Ultra Luxury car review. Well done.
i just love nick's laugh. awesome guy!
Pardon me, do you have any Grey Poupon?
Great to see someone not "over dosed" with all kinds of luxury cars - for instance a car journalist or the like. It is great to see reactions that I am sure I would express also, for instance the feel in the ventilation lever. Great!!
Awesome video, please review the sound system next time!
for real! for whatever reason, many expensive cars dont have great sound systems
he could have saved 100K and the environment as well
Your videos/reviews keep improving. Keep it up! I loved this one.
I so much enjoy your videos Nick - keep it up
William and his Bentley.. Nick's Fables
My dad wants to get the W12 version of this. Do you know if the touchscreen thing in the back controls the massage function?
You sure liked those seats, huh Nick
I like a good massage even without the happy ending
Nick Murray 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
then ask your pugs for a massage session
Hopefully those seats are easy to wipe down
Nick Murray no
Hey Nick have you ever done a video on the equipment you use for filming? I'm thinking of getting into it and some of your gear looks really good and obviously produces a good result, I think there's a video in that (you may have done one already, just checking)
Conor Wainer I have been planning on an equipment video soon
My neighbor has one of these and we live in a relatively moderate neighborhood with lots of Honda CRVs and Toyota Siennas
Nice review Nick...but do you think it's worth more than twice the cost of a 7 series with the executive package?
What is the piece of music you're using for the background in this video?
This Bentley is not really an Audi. It's a bigger VW Phaeton. The instrument cluster layout, the displays, the infotainment system is from a Phaeton. Even the seats with the seat adjustment buttons and everything.
I don't say that it's a bad thing, it's a really great looking and luxurious car for sure. Nice video
Interior looks great.
01:45 Dear Nick, tell William he's no longer welcome in Zuffenhausen :o)
Yes he better get used to it
Nick, Interested on your thoughts about the nav system. I had essentially the same iteration in my 2009 Passat CC, and it was disappointing for a VW owner. Thx.
Yes I cut out the part on the nav sadly because of an out of focus camera. The Nav is junk.
Kinda cheesy, but really entertaining and good info. Love it!
is it better than an S-class? Also, was that plastic on the center console!?
should of revved it up during your exterior tour! awesome video nick
good job getting the video length down, I know that isn't easy but I think it will help you get more viewers.
if you close your eyes, tilt your head back little, Nick sounds a little like Stewie from family guy.
Most affordable and best looking Bentley, wouldnt say no to a daily driver like that :)
7:03 Thats what he said :)
Switch feel!! Real class!
Did it have ventilated seats as well?
Am I getting old? I love it!?! I am starting to plan when to retire and go Consultancy, and enjoy a sherry?? You Nick?
I've always loved the flying spur, gorgeous car, would be interesting to hear your thoughts on a W12 model if you ever get the chance. All I need, is my Conti-nental (flying spur)
It send chills up my spine, every time I touch that wood grain wheel
I own this bitch, this bitch ain't no rental (flying spur)
Rolling one deep for life, fucking with phonies might get me killed
I blow kush smoke, up in the air
Tan leather, wrapped all around my chair
I love making these haters stop and stare
Shout out to God, I'ma stop and say a prayer
And every time I come down the Avenue
Letting the top back, is what I have to do
Bad bitches, I will not chase after you
Even if you say Ro this sack is for you, I'm one deep in my Bentley babe
I appreciate this. Get rid of all the sport car reviews and do these ones instead!
Hey Nick, have you driven the BMW i8? Better than a 911?
Nick, great review though I was hoping you would talk a bit about the infotainment system. Is it up to the standard of the rest of the car?
I did talk about it but I ended up cutting that out to save time. It is very 2004, it works but it is sub par to the rest of the car and strange considering that they could just put the Audi MMI in there.
I knew they were luxurious but like you I have never been in one. That would be the ideal cross country car I'd say. I would be worried about falling asleep in those seats on a long trip though. As always great review and I always get a laugh or two in from your sense of humor.
You will fall in love with the RR Wraith
Nick - I've always thought of Bentley as being a driver's car, as opposed to Rolls and/or Maybach which I think of as cars to be driven in (chauffeured). Is that fair?
I was tooting at you from my Golf the other day Dave just outside the dog park!
Nick you glean the new DJI Mavic yet ?
Nice car and looks so comfy!
If you have a chance to review a rolls royce, could you make a video please. I'd like to hear you opinion on both of the cars, I can't decide if I prefer Bentleys or rolls.
Haha mafia boss.i like that guy humor.Bentley and RR on my list .
The classical music actually makes sense for this review, very fitting for the car. lol
When are we going to get to see you in a Ka-26?
Great review as always love the Flying Spur
is this bently yours?
Great video Nick! Lovely car too😍
Lee
Love to watch yr videos. very entertaining. Continue to produce.
Hi Nick, love your videos. Quick question what camera gear do you use to produce them?
Nickolai Williams I will do an equipment video soon
Thanks Nick
Nick I would love if you could review the newer Hyundai Genesis sedan. I really enjoy your reviews and I'm interested in the Genesis :).
what a monster!
Would love to see you do a review the new 2017 BMW 7 Series.
Nick how did you find the infotainment system in the car? I recently imported a new 2016 loaded Bentley Bentayga W12. when does the 911 come in?
Considering they depreciate as fast as they accelerate, you could definitely run one of these.
boss seat?
Love the Video!
Liked the video, but only for the Gorrilla :)
Dear Nick,
You should test new S-class and compare it to this car.
And a rolls
yup. s-class wins interior-wise (and imho exterior wise aswell)
s class wins with features , but quality is better in the rolls and bentley
Just different leagues in terms of presence - Bentley has it big time.
agree, still waiting for a s class review
As a first-time viewer, I don't "get" the significance of the stuffed animal. Seems a bit odd. Otherwise, nice vid.
Welcome to the channel. There are strange things here
Oh, so you missed the bodies in the trunk. Shame.
Lex Larkin maybe he find it awkward to talk to himself In the car so the stuffed animal could be his listening "passenger"
I own a VW phaeton - black - deep dish wheels... deffo looks like a gangsters car - people just move and dont argue with you lol
I'm fairly new to the channel, what's the deal with the stuffed animal?
It's his toys.
Those airline shelves were called picnic tables. I reckon I might get one of these used, not sure if I can stretch to the stuffed gorilla… after the expense.
Royal wave at 34 seconds, who do you think you are Nick?
Sir Nick to you. We all know that I am to be king. King of what is to be decided...
Nice parking job Nick :)
I blame the auto parking
Haha
i will alwayes liked the bentley cars..i know alot of people says that they are havey and they are not so sporty but i dont think so.
Hello Nick, see you've thought my last message and are trying some other car brands. Don't forget the Fiat 500. Peace
Bring on the Mulsanne Speed!
WHAT WAS BLACKED OUT AT 1:50, NICK?!
There was an address on the Nav screen I did not want shown
Nick Murray that's what he wants us to think.
I really like the flying spur
Next car, S65 Coupe!
William is such a cute guy.
Impressive, in a dated kind of way. Looks like a B5 passat interior in terms of layout etc..
Running with the upper crust huh? (just kidding) If your gonna review a gently I suggest the contential G.T. V-8S Come on Nick! These are for people!
Today I learned they still make the Flying Spur.
Jagh Haringenamn Yeah and this isn’t grouped together with the continental name either (like the first gen).
Best opening for a Bentley, trade that Escalade.
Nice Phaeton ;p
You should also try the S class sometime :)
"I can pull this in and out all day" 7:03 blahahahah too much
Nick, do a Rolls Royce. Just so we can compare.
Nick killed the real owner in his last contract job.
I think he likes it, we'll who wouldn't!
And room for 3 or 4 in the back! 😂
willam and I aha guy is so cool.
