I’ll tell u about the brakes and speed signs first, the speed limit signs are the signs with circles around them, u probably knew this, but u didn’t know that the speed was divided by 10 on the signs, by that I mean that a speed sign is the dumber of kph you can go, divided by ten, so when you see a 10 or 12, it actually means u can go up to 100 or 120 kph. As for the brakes, when you move it forward, it applies some pressure to the brake valve until you set it to the middle, lap, which will stop adding or removing pressure, to release you set it all the way back and it will slowly remove the pressure in the brake pipe, now if u are in an emergency situation like going 60 on a 30, then you can hold it in emergency by clicking and dragging it all the way forward, make sure you hold it there as it can’t be just set into that position, you literally have to hold it in that position
@@milkyway_9217 Definitely not a noob here because I have been playing DV pretty much from when the game was released, so I think I know about the signs, speed limits etc. The game have changed a lot after the latest major update and DM3 is one of the new trains (the braking system is totally different from the other trains), I know how the engine brake and train brake works, but it's like the 5-6 time that I am using it so it's a learning process for me! And let me tell you that because I am playing on the hardest/realistic difficulty if I will do one big mistake this can ruin my whole playthrough, so I prefer to go steady and slow and not pushing the limits! Either way thank you for the help, I appreciate it and thank you for watching!

thats a heavy pull
It sure is and it felt like this! 🙃
you should use dynimic/engine breack in the downhill and just use light train brake
Yeah, definitely need to do that! 👍 The braking system in DM3 needs some time to get used to it!
I use lantern instead of cab light too.
Nice! 👍 I think the lantern gives better lighting in the cab! 😃
the DM3's engine kind of sounds like a old tractor engine to me and it looks like your running low on fuel i think she needs so filling up.
A full service is on the way for the next episode! 😉
