Looking good! I use a similar technique for paint.
Also about the mention of customs over the years. I know I found R/Acceleracers due to being cross posted from r/hotwheels with my JackHammer custom and also my Deora and sling shot from like 4 years ago or so. That was what sparked my interest into making Acceleracers. These first customs were just repaints and not themed. Shortly after I'd developed chicane and bassline and zed 36 were my firsts. I Wana say I was amoung the first to get the custom era started.

These are awesome. But be careful how you hold these cars, man. I would never dare touch the chrome of the wheels. CM6s are incredibly fragile and you risk wiping some of the chrome off if you just look at them funny.
