So I'm confused. You were able to use the factory bolts in the same holes that the factory spoiler uses (holes # 2 and 5 if you count from left to right). However the IIR wepbage for this exact wing says the factory bolts will not work. Furthermore in their install video, they use the self-tapping screws in the innermost trunk holes (# 3 and 4 if you count from left to right). Are there multiple versions of the wing that are causing this discrepancy?
Def a solid setup. I have the black silica sti trunk spoiler. Have the black silica roof spoiler in thr garage and you gave me motivation to finally put it on
Damn that thing is cool as heck! Also the fact it is from the same vendor makes them fit and look good together! It looks super good and clean as hell man!
Thanks for the great video. Do I have to drill screws into the trunk spoiler? I have a base WRX so no holes on the trunk. Will it hold with just the 3M tape?
I stepped back and looked at it before installing the trunk Spoiler and I thought it still looked pretty good. Just doesn't flow quite as good with the stock Spoiler in my opinion
Looks killer man! I love the build. Have you reinstalled the performance grill back on the car? I couldnt tell but based on the other mods you put it on I'm curious what it looks like with it on.
You make some of the best WRX content on the web. It just always seem like you videos don't skip any steps, and has the info I am looking for. Unlike some others **cough**IIR**AFD***cough***
I may have made a mistake. As of now only the trunk spoiler is available I'm carbon. That can be found here www.importimageracing.com/pages/search-results-page?q=22%20wrx%20noble%20sti%20style%20high%20back%20spoiler%20carbon
Hey dude, do you have any updated thoughts after 3 months with the Billetworkz shift lever and plate? Still love it? Have any downsides popped up besides some extra effort required to shift? Do you ever miss gears or money shift?
I still like it. I got used to the extra effort and it hasn't caused me to miss or grind any gears. The only issue I have is sometimes in 2nd gear (after engaging) it feels like the lever is stiffer than the rest. Almost like the lever is caught on something. I pulled the Shifter apart again and saw no issue so I wonder if it isn't hitting the cover plate on the bottom, I plan on checking that out soon. However it's not a consistent problems and only happens once in a whole.
Fun fact: I like Adidas and one time they had an outlet store sale and everything was 75% off so I bought all the things and thats pretty much the only stuff I have is from that sale 😂
The roof spoiler looks a lot better than a vortex generator imo.

Thanks for shooting this I am now convinced that I will be doing the same set up. Keep up the good work my man!!
I just got the same spoilers! Can't wait to install them they look sick!
I have the same setup. Love watching the dew on the rear window vortex to each side in the morning when I get going down the road.
Exactly the video I was looking for!!!! Thanks!

Where in pa are you at? NW PA here
Like the look of the roof spoiler, wonder how off it would look with just that and the stock trunk spoiler.

Heck yeah Cody!

I actually just did today ironically! You'll see it back on the car in the next video!
@StreetInspired1 Awesome! do you think it looks better than the stock with your current build?
@@aaronr9551 I like it better than stock with my new setup
@@StreetInspired1 hell yeah! Can't wait to see it!

how has the paint held up ?
Looks great!
I can do without the roof spoiler. Looks good regardless. Keep it up!
LOLOLOL @ 6:36
The intrusive thoughts won the battle 😂
Nice 🎉🎉🎉my is on back order, due to the fact I’m color matching 🎉
Nice video man clear and you pointed out your mistake, the store doesn't seem to have carbon as a option, is it sold or maybe coming soon?

Maybe i missed it but do the spoilers come with that 3m tape you used here
Yep! Each Spoiler comes with a full roll. I had plenty of extra leftover!

@@StreetInspired1thanks! I’m going to give the Billetworkz combo a shot on my ‘22.
Car is looking great! How many miles on the full e85 tune now? Really tempted to pull the trigger on that
I think it's been almost 2k miles already no issues. I'm actually sitting here retuning the car as we speak for more upgrades and so far so good
I like it, nice job
Looks way better 👍🏻
My dude can we talk about how many short extensions you used there on your impact gun...
Unnecessary excessive short extensions.
Lmao it was a bit much, but I thought it would make it easier to see where I was taking the bolt out from.
No.
Where do you get the tape ?
It will come with 3M tape.
The roof spoiler disrupts the airflow and makes the trunk spoiler functionless.
Most likely. But I'm not concerned about real aero on a daily driven street car. It's all for looks in my opinion
I’m just waiting for quality Tail light replacements 🙌🏼🔥
I'll be installing some next week!
You need some longer socket extensions, sir, lol
I think I need 4 more small extensions lol
👍🏿 nice! I have the V3 Kogeki Duckbill
Adidas Sponsorship coming soon?? Lol

😏
See what I did there? lol.. my bad. I'll see myself out.
On a serious note.. I'm lookin' at grabbing the carbon fiber version of this spoiler for my 2015 WRX. Always did like the look.
I like it, I like it a lot. Dumb & dummer lol
Try hards
