Amazing work!! I'm still amazed how friggin' fun these rigs are!! Been working (very slowly) on an 8x8 conversion to an Eachine (EAT01) version of this, but using all WPL components. That tipping mechanism is absolutely game changing!! I wonder if you can stabilize the tipping action with a secondary motor/screw jack for heavier loads! But this is exactly the kind of video I love seeing with these rigs! Excellent work, wonderful paint job!! Thanks for this!
Thanks very much, glad you like it! Yeah, these rigs are really fun, at a moderate cost! I also have an Eachine EAT01, converted to flatbed for car transport, it works well. I guess it would be possible to stabilize the action as you mention, but it would need a more sophisticated power transmission than the simple 5 mm threaded rod I use here. We'll see in the future... Thanks again and good luck with your 8x8 conversion, that's an interesting project! 😊😊
Very nice indeed looks amazing I like the V3 it's just a shame that there's no end points adjustment 😔 that is a big let down for me 😔 but never the less great video and demo 👍 and as always thanks for the support over my side 🙏
I like your tipping mechanism - tres elegant, Monsieur. It's interesting to see how the extra 3.7 volts bestowed enough torque on the B16's motor to get it up that hill. I had always thought that more volts meant more rpm, rather than more torque. Are you running a 180 in this truck?
Thank you very much Del! I should have mentioned the motor, it's a stock WPL 370 with reduction and singlespeed gearbox, the high ground clearence type. The 3s of course give more speed too, but more important is that it obviously delivers more raw power! 😊

Thank you very much! What I like with the V3 is mainly the winch/tipper control and the car 2 mode, which is very usable. 😊😊
It’s awesome Rc
Thank you very much, glad you like it! 😊😊

@@Georgieframe I like that combination of motor and gearing for a WPL.
@@Del350K4 Yes, it works very good, especially for crawling!
I like content like this a lot of creative
@@artisgagal5320 Thank you very much, really glad you like it! 😊
Another cool truck! I have the Res v3 on an ldrc unimog but it doesnt sound as good as yours, where have you mounted the speaker?
Thank you very much, glad you like it! The speaker is mounted on the back of the cab, where the spare wheel usually sits on these cars. 😊😊
Very nice job my friend
🔵🔵🔵🙂🙂🙂👍👍👍🔵🔵🔵
Thank you Carlos, glad you like it. I'm usually not too keen on WPL radios but must admit the Res v3 works good for some purposes! 😊😊
