- Is great coaching more important than talent & depth? Can Partizan Belgrade & Zeljko Obradovic prove that in the series against Real Madrid?
In this video, BasketNews' Augustas Suliauskas takes a look at Zeljko's ideal plan against Walter Tavares, why Gabriel Deck is a bad matchup for Partizan & how Kevin Punter delivered a masterpiece performance.

At the top
What Zeljko sees today, the rest coaches will see it in ten years.
*maybe
There was nothing better to watch as Musa & Fernandez, who whole game acted as idiots, finally were punished: Musa got offensive foul and 3+1 while sitting on the ground, and Fernandez got 2+1 by Exum. Really nasty players. So happy Partizan won and truth was crowned. Good luck today, Grobari. Best wishes from Lithuania.
Ty for the nice words
As a Fenerbahçe fan my second team is obvious this season. Let’s hit the dagger tonight guys.
0:11 questionable calls? Probably referring to the flopping Musa, there is no other explanation.
Augustas tnx for being grobar brate.
You will sing with us in kaunas i know
But that game 2 deserves it's own video my man. 😂
Shiiiiiit. This breakdown suddenly the least important thing. Even though Partizan repeated its' success in Game 2 as well
Clear offensive foul??? More like flopping like a degenerate.
he acted a bit, but that was intentional from Punter, altough I'm happy for Partizan, Real deserved it
After game 2 all im gonnna say is, we are waiting for you...
Hmmm, you turned this, by some bizarre coincidence, into Real's victory. The feeling is that you are sorry that Real lost. If you're doing an analysis, honestly, don't favor the club. You say that Punter committed a foul on Musa, and Musa held his face, even though he didn't get hit in the face, and why was he lying on the floor for 4-5 seconds, even though he didn't get an offensive foul, you lie while he scores a three-pointer. The refereeing was excellent and now I could show you the referee's mistakes to the detriment of Partizan through many such slow-motion videos, but the refereeing was really good, mistakes that do not affect the course of the game are acceptable.
I share the same opinion with you. The referees did a good job. Partizan deservedly won. I really don't understand what is being commented here that Partizan won by accident.
I think I concentrated for 7 minutes on how Partizan & Zeljko outplayed Real Madrid, and mentioned only 1 'questionable' call. I'm definitely neutral here and tried to give my best explanation for what happened on the court. Also, I had Partizan in 4 so I was kind of expecting them to win at least one time in Madrid.
@@AugustasSuliauskas No, that's all right. However, in one part you said that it was already a "won" game for Real, only that Punter scored at the end, my friend, basketball is played until the last second. I'm just saying that you were leaning towards the fact that it should have been Real's win and you were expressing some wrong impressions about the officiating, as if it affected the final outcome. Look at the video, Musa did the same thing last night, he wanted to stage a foul and stayed on the floor for a few seconds, play, fight...while a Partizan player hits a three-pointer. Everything is cool bro, I follow your channel and I like what you do. If I'm not mistaken, you are from Lithuania (sorry if it's a mistake). I appreciate your opinion about basketball and the players you gave, really top players... we Serbs, you have to admit that we also know something about basketball 😁😁. Greetings, all the best.
@@zi8234 Sorry if it sounded like I thought Real won only because of refs. Definitely wasn't the purpose of this video! Greetings from Lithuania
@@zi8234reffs were not good at all, and we can see that clearly after the end of the game 2... It was almost 80 minutes of stealing .... With constant complaining from RM , even when they get the call... And i am red star fan... I can show at least 10 points in every game that they took from partizan directly
Welcome to Belgrade girls!!!
Musa flops, week game..
Do one on how the brilliance of the referees saved Monaco from losing again in game 2 vs Maccabi
Bruh how you can't pronounce LeDay..? Le is like in LeBron. Not Lidey.
Somehow got it wrong. My bad.
Thanks for the analysis. Biggest concern for Real Madrid was the overuse of Tavares...he looked tired prior to his injury. Real's rotation could have been improved. Real has the height and talent against Partizan. No surprise that Partizan won. Real can still come back and win 3 in a row. This depends on the coaching staff.
Who knows how each team's roster will look like given the looming suspensions
@@AugustasSuliauskas after the fight, agree with your point!
Can you do a video talking about Hunter Hale from KK Borac?
Might do a twitter thread sometime in the summer about the most interesting low-key players that should make a jump. Now all eyes on Euroleague playoffs and later NBA finals. But Hale is a great player and talent
There is nothing about talent or strategy if we're talking about budgets. Partizan have one of the best rosters in tournament & goat Coach.
Saying that Partizan's roster is comparable to Real Madrid's is laughable
Partizan and Zalgiris 🖤🤍💚
Finale🎉🎉🎉
2.0
Do another video!
YO YO YO,Wait, wait, boy. Are you saying that the referees helped Partizan? This is Dr. Željko Obradović's Clinic and you can all just be jealous that he is from Serbia. That Real Madrid's "player" grabs the Partizan player by the neck like that, to throw him like that??? Dude, HE SHOULD NOT ENTER BASKETBALL ARENA NO PLAYING BASKETBALL AT ALL!!! And he received a 5-match suspension and half of Partizan's top five! SHAME ON EUROPEAN BASKETBALL. SHAME!!
🔥
Need another video after tonight.
Podcast will be out soon where me and Donatas are talking about everything that went down yesterday
@@AugustasSuliauskas Cool Thanks
Partizan 👍👍👍👍🇷🇸🇷🇸🇷🇸🇷🇸
PARTIZANE ALE ALE ALE!
Shame on u. He basically presented us Real Madrid loss like its a victory. Also talking about refs, like how dare u?
This dude were doubting Partizan from the beggining and its clear that he wanted Real to win..
I don't think so that he had that intention. But good luck today from Lithuania.
He can only hope. A mi ćemo da se radujemo. Napred Partizan.
He predicted Partizan winning stfu
It's not true, I watch these guys all the time and Augustas actually predicted Partizan to win in 4 games. Even the biggest Partizan fans wouldn't do that. The Lithuanian basketball journalists give Serbian basketball all the credit it deserves. Basketball is our mutual love and the national sport in Lithuania and Serbia. The only thing where we part ways is the UKR-RUS conflict, where Lithuanians are the biggest Russophobes while the Serbs are probably the only Russophilic nation in the world.
For anyone watching this: Partizan dismantled and obliterated Real Madrid in the 2nd game.
This year would have a great end for partizan fans, if real and barca wasnt in their way . Hopefully next year partizan will reach the final
Are you sure in that?
I understand that it's tough getting 2-0'd in Madrid like that, but still It's kind of pathetic that they had to resort to that type of action (not surprised tho).
@@Doktorkumalowish you guys the best from an olympiacos fan. May the best teams reach the final
@@kongiann2282 Thanks, brother.
Game 2 💀💀
2 wins lol
After G2, it doesn't seems any more like Partizan can't guard Gabriel Deck
Some adjustments were made & they did a really good job
In my opinion in the final of F4 in Kaunas will play Obradović vs Obradović😂😂. Monaco vs Partizan ( coach of Monaco is Obradović but Saša)😅
I had and i still have respect for real madrid but this........
Two wins in Madrid…..(.
