It's a blessing to have a husband who truly loves his wife that he shares in all of her burdens and responsibilities. Most women are kept on a pedestal and taken great care by the husband and in-laws during her pregnancy as they want the child to be born healthy. But once the child is born they kick her down from that pedestal/hill top and make her do additional work of taking care of her husband, children and also work to make money. Truly sick of such narrow minded Indian men. My Salute to all the men like Rohan in this video.

Good video. But in reality, even if husband is helpful, they won’t behave sooo helpful like this in front of relatives…😅
My husband and I both work in IT. My project is almost always loaded, my husband's current project is not that loaded, thankfully. He makes tea for us in the morning, serves me breakfast. I usually cook and keep lunch prepared. He helps in making the bed, vacuuming. When I cook, he does the dishes and vice versa... I help him with his outside responsibility (grocery shopping etc) when I can. We share the finances. I got lucky !

Don't know why many thinks like, they want the girl who earns and knows house work also. Ofcourse everyone can learn that but doing house work alone and going to office will be difficult for everyone(either boy or girl). So dividing the responsibilities is not an issue, that should be appreciated. If a boy wants a working women then he or his parents should not expect to do total house work by only a girl. Many people need to change

India’s patriarchal system has a whole lot of social protocols that women are required to follow after marriage while men expect royal treatment at their wife’s place. Leaving ones family and adjusting in a new physical space itself is an arduous task for any girl. The least that she expects is congenial behavior from her in laws and not be deprived of her basic rights and dignity.
