I think it's just their new strategy to release season pass cards that have a completely positive effect and just overtune their base power. It seemed so obvious with Surtur and Galacta that their base power is unreasonably high

You aren't kidding about it fitting in anywhere. For a laugh I dropped it in a Destroy deck in the Hulkbuster/Agony slot and you'd think it would be super clunky at 4-mana but it actually did a lot to help my late-drawn Deadpool catch up.

I never had a card disappear on me as much as Galacta has lol. It's insane trying to draw her, but the games that I did play with her I won. Shes gonna be addition for midrange style of decks.. Gonna see what I can cook with her.
SD is the most tonedeaf developer I have seen in 30 years of video games. Releasing a second pay to win card back to back when your community is in shambles easily takes the top spot. Hope those 5000 sold season passes are worth it
Never gonna spend anything on this game but if the season pass cards keep getting released way too strong that might just get me to quit. im at CL 16k, got most of the cards I want, but its insanely frustrating to see them put the best card in the SP, make token acquisition hell and never put them into spotlights. But hey, what if there was a game where you couldnt just buy the best cards, right?
I enjoy her.. Good with iron man good with scarlet spider good with brood good Excetra. Also you don't need it to be the only card in the lane in case you get confused the wording kinda comes off like it should be. Its just a forge to the first card that isn't in her lane that you play. Amazing card. It should probably be a 4/4 to be fair.

Gwen kinda goes crazy. Poor Alex. She really said "go F yourself" on that play. Galacta is a pretty insane card if we're being honest. So many cards benefit from her power buff, and it's targeted. Cheating her out on 3 is so easy these days too. 4 cost cards are finding their way back into the heart of the meta after Zabu got Old Yeller'd.
I know Alex is a long-time Surfer-deck fan, but I've never ever liked any version of Surfer. I tried 'em all, but he just felt whack in every iteration. I always hated how you barely have any moves on T1 & T2. I hated floating energy on T4 cuz you can only play 3-cost cards, although Gwenpool helped ease that a little bit. And typically if you don't draw Sera AND Surfer in time then your whole build is screwed. Yet now trying him with Galacta... (hey Surfer IS big daddy Galactus' herald after all!) ... the deck actually feels kinda smooth and fun for the first time. Like you have other options besides just the totally Surfer-dependent line. Not saying I'm fully on-board with Surfer yet or anything, but Galacta seems to bring something substantial to the table...

After several tests, I feel like she's just a better version of Elsa Bloodstone. Broken? I don't think so. There're so many combos out there with higher ceiling than hers.
