Pissarro's Pointillism is so delicate and fragile that you hardly dare breathe ! He was an avant-gardist among the impressionists ! I admire him a lot , as does his mother Susanne Valadon ... Thank you so much for this excelent Opus !!!
Pissarro is waay underrated. He's not afraid to use darks for depth, at times, and there is such a wonderful serenity which shows in his work. Even the Paris street scenes seem full of people, each with a perfectly good purpose for being where they are. As I watch this, it's his people that blow me away. Every farmer and peasant looks like he or she belongs perfectly in the landscape. Some painters just place figures in the landscape to make the picture seem more interesting or dynamic. Pissarro paints them exactly as they were, with perfect gestural rendering. Even in the street scenes, or in that scene along the river, each person, some must be really small figures, has a different attitude: of shoulders, head, legs, hats. You can almost guess which ones are impatient, which are long-suffering, which eager to get to the next thing. People need to appreciate this guy more. More love for Pissarro!
My favourite impressionist. Does light like no-one else. It can just be a painting of a non-descript street and yet it somehow becomes magical with Pissarro's touch.
OMG ! He was amazing! his progression from the impressionist era into the more Scientific exploration of Seurat was moving and the change back to earlier visions that captures full understanding of the working of the land and vistas is incredabile I loved the film !!
Camille Pissarro is my favourite painter, let alone impressionist. I intend to learn so much from his paintings. I just wish I had been around at the same time as him, I could have learnt so much from the master. This is a montage par excellence. thank you.
When I can watch paintings of 1 painter the length of a movie without getting bored. Then there must be something special about this guy that I cant explain. Now just imagine me seeing the actual art.
Thank you so much for this excellent record of The Master's creations. This and your similar productions are reason enough to have access to the Internet.
thank you very much for the full paintings of Pissarro, enjoyed a lot, and very inspiring, thank you for the perfect quality of the photos of the painting , much appreciated
A very nice 'trip back in time, with C. Pissarro as our guide...seeing the world through his eyes. I thought I had seen most of his paintings. Well, I haven't. Beautiful music to underscore the beauty of the paintings.
Thank you for the download. It is only now that I understand the meaning of Cézanne's statement: "We are all derived from Pissarro". Cézanne, Monet, Gauguin, Van Gogh and all that followed would not have existed without him. He was the trailblazer, the forerunner, the explorer of paths, the master who showed them how to find in themselves what they were looking for. Himself having dug many wells without really reaching his water allowed them to find their own. It is an irreparable loss for the understanding of modern art that 1500 of Pissarro's most essential paintings were destroyed during the Prussian invasion of France in 1871.
These beatifully thought out videos are art presentations of great beauty in and of themselves ..... they bring forth tears of humble amazement ... words fall short of the experience .... the presenters of these visual/audio works exhibit geat tastefullnes and understanding of musics mysterious power to illuminate and empower what the eye sees ......... with much greatful thanks to all those concerned ... Namaste 😌
Love this channel and very proud to sipport it. I'm quite poor and can't afford painting workshops so I learn what I can through channels like this on youtube.

I love his palette and I wish I could buy more posters of his work. Thank you for uploading such beauty, new subscriber! Best wishes to you and all your viewers
A boulevard from a city, looking north perhaps, grays street barren of people, two little girls walk so alone, a glimpse of life, walk into the back of the painting? Pissaro could capture a story in his genre of paint and scenes. How beautiful his sense of time, season, story, persons who lived in the scene of summers, harvests, river, streams, brooks all run through his fields the street and paths, one would walk in disappear? Lovely enchanted painter of scenes nature really is alive, people live lives of everyday deeds love stories of the heart? Pissaro a painter of color and points, lines...
The objective of artists is to see the World through Gods eyes. Paintings like these show how ethereal love of the Universe sees the sacred moments of the World. To look through the Universes eyes makes life sacred . This is destiny sometimes.
Pissarro painted landscapes around the cities of Pontoise (NW of Paris) and Montmagny (N of Paris) where Parisians used going for walks in the countryside, have a glass of wine (or more...) and dance to the popular bands in the cabarets. These places are interesting to visit. In Pontoise there is a Pissarro Museum dominating the old city. You can go to the Butte Pinson, a small hill where Pissarro painted, by the tramway line 5, station Alcide d'Orbigny, from the historic city of Saint-Denis (the head station for Tram 5 is at Marché de Saint-Denis). It is a fine walk in a popular area (with a Pakistani community), with well-kept small gardens (and no tourist at all...).
Apollo and his son Jeididiaya- they had that conversation openly at stadium forum : Apollo said to his son "I cannot place you first Jeiddiaya when you always place yourself first".

Could you please let us know what artist provided the piano music that accompanies this video. It is so beautiful and complements the paintings. thanks
You're welcome! As far as I know, there is a book, a huge one, with most of his paintings in it. It's called 'Pissarro: Critical Catalogue of Paintings'. It has over 1500 pages, and costs a lot...
Camille Pissarro is the world 🌎🌍. his paintings are photographs and has u mistakable clarity on sooo he could sober up Claude Monet several times while painting Claude's wife's portraiture ha!

I love the vibrational feeling and the tone of beauty and awe in these paintings - they are truly symphonies of dancing light 🧡

Pissarro is a true master. I'm glad I discovered his greatness. One of my all-time favorites... up there with Van Gogh and Gauguin

Extraordinar artist; I like his painting so much!
Stunning . Thank you.
I like the picture that shows the joys and sorrows of the common people.
The person who has the painting as a job,and he is interesting in that job, what a lucky!
Pissarro is maybe my favourite impressionist painter, but also the giant Monet, of course.

PIssarro should also be remembered as the gracious supporter of Gaugin, Van Gogh, and Cezanne, among others. A most important figure and painter.
