What a PRIVILEGE to have access to this art. This painter has an extraordinary ability to capture nature on canvass. One can crunch in the snow, paddle in the streams, hear the breeze whisper in the trees, and smell the flowers in the cottage garden. Absolutely masterly, and thank you for the pleasant music.
Blimey, these are a feast for the eyes…the light captured by his skill, blows me away. Some of these paintings are so detailed I really thought they were photos. I’ve only watched 5 minutes and, metaphorically speaking, I bow to his mastery! Thank you for posting 🤔🏴🇬🇧
Peder Mørk Mønsted is a genius an nobody can convince me otherwise. The way he plays with shadows and light is perfection, its like how a human perceives the scenery an paints it EXACTLY how he sees it. Perfection! 👌
This is actually what caught my eye in the first place, his treatment of light is amazing, not to mention the detail, but i think he is a master of lighting..
Holy guacomole! Painter extraordinaire: refined, expressive, master of snow, master of light, detailed and accurate but not neurotic, a romantic: farm life depicted as it was- simple, quiet, peaceful, ducks and chickens here and there, a woman near chickens with laundry on a clothes line; a man in a business suit reading a paper perched on rocks, a winding river under trees with sunlit dappled water, adult with children nearby, wagon wheels trail in the snow, cows with a shepard, cottages with thatched roofs, a sea captain, a child on a wooden sled pulled by an adult, middle weastern figures.... WOW!
This is absolutely beautiful. This is what art should be like not the modern BS. It's a shame there's almost nobody to eternalize how our world looks like today for the next generations in marvelous painting like these.
When struggling to be inspired to paint theres nothing like looking at monsted the masters work . Beautiful and inspiring This is a wonderful channel thankyou.
I don't think monsted missed anything h is observations were on another level , one thing about art , or I should say doing it opens your eyes to an higher sense , I think everyone should have a go to appreciate the world around us
Was fuer ein Pinsel-Genie! Grossartig!!
By far my favorite painter, he could capture the transparent water in a pond, the ripple in still water, or the sunsets in Northern Europe or Egypt like nobody else. His build-in light is wonderful, as is perspective and feeling. I am very fortunate to have several of your images to enjoy. Thank you for posting Monsted and Repin.
Another great artist [we've never heard of], who mastered his materials and expressed himself through his choice of subject matter. A simple, direct and honest approach to art we seemed to have largely abandoned in the west, in favour of who knows what?
This feels like a journey trough the most beautifull scènes on earth. Togeher with the uplifting music one almost gets the feeling to be flying trough historiy as well. Great!
Breathtaking! I love the subject matter, reminding us of the beauty, hardship and great character and diversity of nature and the simple way of living. Thank you for revealing these stupendous works.
Bravo, bravo! 🌳🦜🍀🌼🌺🍏🐦
You can see the influence of Bouguereau in the atmospheric depth of his landscapes and homestead scenes. I may be broke but I am much richer for a chance to witness from afar the works of great artists. Thank you for enriching my life today.
They draw you into his world, sometimes making you feel like ' I've been here before, I can hear the babbling brook and feel the gentle breeze that moves the flickering leaves about. I can drink in the nectar of fragrant grass and clover. ' oops, i got carried away there for a moment. . . know what i mean? . . .
Mønsted! What a beast! Some of it is stiff and boring but many pieces are breathtaking with very fresh and deliberate brushwork. Glad to have found him!
One of the lesser known artists who deserves to be honored much more than he is or was. A little known fact, he was originally actually from the planet Ork. After his career as an artist, he, in the late 1970s, started going by his middle name and moved to Boulder, Colorado where he moved into a quaint little two story Victorian with a pretty young lady. They were not romantically involved however. His artworks are exceedingly wonderful and truly worthy of hanging in any of the world's finest museums and galleries next to the likes of Bierstadt. Goodbye and Na-Noo Na-Noo!
His artwork is awesome !most of the comments reflect my feelings , One question, why his he not heard of,? best artist i have ever had the pleasure to view
I'm a painter and would love to know more about his painting process. Great paintings to meditate on in these disturbing times. And was he ever prolific!
Ive had the pleasure of gazing at these beautiful paintings lots of times , and never ceased to be amazed at his skill every painting looks like his heart and soul go into acheaving perfection i always hate to use the word perfection ist but i take a true exception to this collection i wish some of his talent would rub off on me when i crudely, a1attempt art!
youtube are really shortsighted and unfair demonetising this, your compilations are captivating and keep me coming back even though most of the content on here is no where near as good as yours.

Thank you sincerely for sharing this collection of absolute masterpieces. I had no idea what I was missing. Monsted's talent was truly a gift.

Im blown away by the light he produces in his paintings . A master surely.
I always think a great landscape painting will make you want to be in it.
This is actually what caught my eye in the first place, his treatment of light is amazing, not to mention the detail, but i think he is a master of lighting..
One of the greatest artist, his work remains immortal.

WOW!
Amazing how he was able to capture the feeling of sunlight in some of those works, and the snow scenes were amazing as well.
This is absolutely beautiful. This is what art should be like not the modern BS. It's a shame there's almost nobody to eternalize how our world looks like today for the next generations in marvelous painting like these.

Mais on y est déjà en regardant.
Such beauty. Do most people realize what a wonderful planet we live on? I doubt it. Too busy to notice.
Sometimes it’s just hard to see or appreciate through all the evil, pain, and suffering of all the good and especially innocent living things.
One can not love God if one can not love the nature and see Hand of God in it.

Incredibly beautiful paintings. A true master. I especially love his Danish landscapes, as I know them and their tranquility so well.
Was fuer ein Pinsel-Genie! Grossartig!!
The time it takes for this amount of detail is telling. He so loved each and everyone of these babies. So it is.

There is a real joy in life in his paintings. Beautiful work, such detail.
It is good to know ,that there always seem to be people who are abel to show us how beautifull our world really is...
He's put 100% into every painting , wow, and awesome would be an understatement, he was top at his game

One of the best artist of all times love his paintings
First time seeing his work I really love them a fantastic artist wil be one of my favourites I have never seen such beautiful snow scenes
Beautiful beyond...as a painter myself I am in awe!
What a great artist. He should be in the pantheon of the great artists whose names are widely known.
I wonder if he ever realized how gifted and blessed was by God.
Or was it he whom touched God?
Interesting how some people assume that their perspective on God is what everyone else should apply in their lives. Rather arrogant presumption.
.you get the same with dog lovers they allways expect you want to be mugged by their dog .
hellen that's the first thought that came to my mind too 🙂
Hard work no god involved not even the Jewish god haha
