I would assume you should be alright. Schools in session and your away from Labor Day weekend. It will still be hot so people would still look to cool off there on the weekend.
I got a couple questions. What month did you guys go and what was the temp? Also are they pretty strict with height requirement for the big slides? My son is 45” and I read height requirement is 48”?
We went in July, super hot (needed sandals for the cement). I don’t recall them measuring anyone on the slide, but I think it depends on the lifeguard. Most seemed to be college or Hs students, so take that as you will…

How was the noise at night?
No concerns with noise. At least we didn’t hear anything
This or JW Marriott Palm Desert?
Usually can’t go wrong with a Marriott but we’ve never been so we can’t compare…but would love to hear your thoughts if you go!
