So at 0:43 the crowd's chant "KOON KOON..." is literally a chant celebrating blood. Crazy.
I also noticed that in the opening speech the announcer uses the word Giedi in the line "under our glorious black sun" riiight about where the words Black sun should be, so Giedi prime might translate directly to "Black Sun Prime"

I saw it on a flat screen IMAX Feb 29. Then I went to a DOME IMAX on Mar 1 and Mar 21. All I can say is WOW!!!!!!! Each time was better than the preceding experience. I would go to it again and I will if it ever returns. You must see it at a Dome Imax. The Dome Imax is another experience over a flat Imax.

There’s something about the Baron being introduced and seeing all of his mostly female slaves bowing to him looking terrified that’s just so disturbing. That alongside the demonic chanting of the crowd…chilling. They did a great job with world building in this scene.

English here is like French was in medieval times, the language of royalty and aristocracy. the language of the noblemen. their subjects spoke all their various languages, but the upper echelons of society all communicated separately. it's a class divide. Atreides are like this noble small house, they are like the French themselves. Harkonnen are a mass of some other language, and their leaders look down on them.
What this scene (and the Salusa Secundus scene from part 1) conveyed so beautifully is that, despite these being humans, it is so far in the future and their cultures so divergent that they are basically aliens.
Despite Vilenueve cutting out a lot of the ecological themes from the book, he perfectly displays the extreme futurism that Frank Herbert envisioned. This universe is a vision of humanity that threw away many of its crutches and forced itself to evolve.
This is what I imagine the chants and musical theme for a Dark Eldar champion in a organized Commorragh colosseum would be like. A Drukhari who has arisen through the ranks and hierarchy of the colosseums of Commorragh since a young age becoming a rising legend of renown amongst even by the ruthless wych cults standards slaying beasts, chaos warriors, Drukhari Archons, and more giving his opponents the chance to use some of their weapons and equipment and know he's come for them in the arena's clearing. His handlers and Arena backers organizing a special event for hundreds of millions of Dark Eldar in the city and gaining the attention of legendary Drukhari of Commorragh to see. The Arena's clearing having unique set ups for each match to be more engaging and interesting for the audience to view. With the Dark Eldar Champion at the end after killing some restrain Psykers, monsters, Catachan Jungle fighters, gets to show himself fighting a few captured Astartes with the added bonus of a Chapter Master allowed their powered swords to fight. Certainly a duel such as that in Commorragh would gain the attention of the greatest Cabals and warriors to recognize the champion's talents and skills to be remembered. If the Arena event could include one Custodes perhaps that would gain enough merit alone though it would be pushing it alot for even a great Drukhari champion with the prepared advantages set, proper combat experiences and knowledge, endurance, durable armor and body, and mental processing to keep up.
I was freaking out during this scene, the bass hit really hard, I have never felt such adrenaline while watching a movie. It wasn't a 4d cinema but the "spice" scent was there. Best night ever. I was so hyped I couldn't sleep 😂.

My second try on trying to put lyrics on that incredible scene. It sounded a lot like the Uruk-Hai warcries and how the orcs and uruks from Sauron besieging Minas Tirith.
