The guitar adds an element of romance, and the bongos add an element of rhythm and energy. It's a beautiful song. It was translated beautifully; however, the Spanish lyrics make the song so haunting, nostalgic, and sad. It's this person begging for a new start to a bygone relationship. It's almost hopeful. Perfect Spanish. More regular central Spain, very neutral. "tu vos mahiné" is pretty difficult to replicate naturally. The backgoun singer is killing it as well.
