I really appreciated your video, especially how you explained that the vachetta leather was already treated. I just bought this bag preloved and even though it was authenticated I was concerned about the color of the vachetta not being the same as my older bags that still have lighter vachetta. Now I understand why! Thank you ☺️

I have the same bag but with black trim and I luv it too. I agree with everything u said. that slip pocket is annoying. I use the monogram strap too cuz the other one is too short. they should also include a top handle strap for the price lol
No, you were NOT being overly picky! At LV prices, it has to be perfect! And yes, it has to be spot on and the human eye can get a perfect line up when matching the canvas panels! If you had bought a bag at Target I would say you were being slightly demanding. Not for a bag from LV! 👍👍👍
I would TOTALLY have exchanged that too! I don't expect perfection on everything, but for what these bags cost brand new; as close to perfect is what I expect! I love the strap versatility as well! Great video Gene! :)
Hey Gene yet another great informative video, and no if it bothers you it’s never to picky to return or exchange. I’ve always admired this bag I haven’t purchased because I have a few Hermes Evelyne bags and they would serve same purpose but congrats on your new beautiful bag 💚.
I love how honest you are about everything. when someone is carrying a 😍Niceshopx😍 and you pass them on the street no one can tell whether is fake or real one because you cannot do this much analysis on it. what I hate about LV and why I stopped buying them is that many people assume your bag is fake when they pass you on the street. It's very annoying. one time a woman walked up to me and actually asked me if my bag was "real". after spending almost 2K on a bag and being asked that question was so offensive i stopped carrying them. People look more at the person carrying the bag and assume wrongly whether is real or fake. it is extremely annoying

OMG. I am getting ready to shoot a video about a very similar situation with my Odeon MM! I had to return this bag 3 TIMES and ultimately paid more than retail to get one new with tags that was pre-owned but at least had no flaws. This is one of my absolute favorite bags but I completely agree with you that for the price these need to be amazing condition.

Absolutely not being too picky! And no, these bags are not handmade by one individual. They are assembled piecework, each part is sewn by a different specialist. In fact, LV was sued for false advertising in 2010 I think for making ads that lead people believe that they were individually hand sewn! They lost and had to pull the ads. This bag looks fabulous on you! I love that you have multiple strap options. It would even look good with a web strap. It’s perfect for everyday and for travel.

It’s an expensive bag. If there’s something that bothers you, you should not keep it. The reason your sales advisor blew it off is because they were going to sell that bag to some other person and he did not want to acknowledge said it was anything significant. Agree?

You were not picky at all. That’s the thing about LV, their quality is hit or miss. You need to be completely satisfied for any amount of $$. I am not the biggest fan of new LV for this reason. I think you deserve the best for your money. I love the strap options, and I thought crossbody looked great on you! And, there’s nothing wrong with your body.

My husband summed it up well, he said if you went in Nordstroms and were going to buy a purse for $300 and it wasn’t perfect you would put it down and move to the next bag so why would you feel bad about returning a non perfect bag for over $2000. I believe hubby is right.

Alignment doesn’t bother me. I would’ve kept it.
It bothers me because one of the ways to tell something is fake is if the alignment of the monogram is off.
