you guys are totally getting it! the whole idea of this album was to show BTS in their natural state--not worldwide superstars, not a boy band, just seven ordinary friends dealing with their problems during this difficult time. a lot of this was filmed by JK when they were just chilling and messing around with each other. this album was produced and created from start to finish by the members themselves, and tbh it really shows. they're all so talented and their warmth and emotions really shine through. for me at least, this song came at the PERFECT time. i was in a really low place, and this was exactly the message i needed to hear, and i think that's what they were going for. thanks for the great reaction, and keep up the great work!

They are also each credited with either writing, producing or both every song on this album except for Dynamite. And yes, JK directed the MV and V took on the role of Visual Director and shot the promotional concept images. This album is truly a personal album for them and it’s just what the world needs right now 💜

Im in love with this song and MV, the song is just so catchy and it kinda has the R&B feel to it. It was shot in their apartment, they still all live together despite having bought their own apartments a couple of years back. We know how important video editing and well especially gcf tokyo are for jungkook - i think, you can tell this just by all of the effort he put on this, none of it was planned, it really was about the story, and I'm so glad you pointed out how you could tell that he was happy at the moment of filming his trip with jimin (that's why I actually doubt that gcf tokyo is possible to recreate, more of a meaning, then technical part) I'm also happy for jungkook getting chance to direct mv - he expressed that wish like in 2014 even, i guess. The song talks about how the global nations stopped when COVID19 started and trying adjust by keep spreading positivity despite the life changes which include not being able to see the excitement & meeting of fans; all you can do is cry & smile through the whole music video seeing them enjoying each others’ company and relaxing while we fans’ ask ourselves what happens next once the group goes on a long temporary hiatus? Seeing Suga actually soft rap singing after such a long time since SOPE (SUGA x J-Hope duo) 👀 Taehyung driving looking over at the 1988 Seoul Olympics Complex Stadium where they were supposed start their next World Tour missing ARMY since the outbreak happened they had to cancel it but they had prepared online concert called #BangBangCon where they performed their track setlist. Our precious JK added his GCF within the video of them having a good time being happy long before the pandemic and watching the MV all I can think of how close its getting to Jin & Suga possible enlistments and how it’s going to effect kpop communities along with members? I'm pretty sure Joon said in the live that they started brainstorming for this in March, this time around BTS had a hand in *everything* . From directing to storyboarding to packaging.
For all we know this could be one of JK's college project too. After all, his major is (someone correct me if am wrong) Broadcasting and Entertainment and videography/filmmaking is just one of his many interests. I'm thinking that it's so cool that they are all taking up courses that are related to their work/craft. In case you haven't told them yet, except for JK who's still in the midst of his undergraduate studies, the other 6 members are apparently currently attending graduate school : MBA in Advertising and Media. Yes, we do admire hard working, talented and dedicated individuals, that's the truth.
Actually, the members like that they tour together. Sure, maybe it was tough at first, but they have talked about it a lot about how lonely it would be to be a solo artist. They consider themselves seven soulmates and closer than family. Jin says, if he does something without the others, it's like forgetting his wallet or phone at home - like something crucial is missing.
The mind behind it is precisely Jungkook. And it didn't take that many months, they actually showed all the album process in real time, all the discussions and ideas. The great team that created this was the members themselves. JK was the director AND was behind the camera at parts, and every shot came from the members themselves. For example, the bike is there bc JK knows that RM likes going biking in the river and couldn't bc of covid. Another data: the bedroom and living room scenes were filmed in the boys own house. The bedroom is Jimin and JHope's. The bonsai is RMs real bonsai. And the concert is their REAL convert, they did a virtual one and after day 2 ended, they got dressed again and filmed that part.
They filmed the performance segment after day 1 of the Map of the Soul concert. There is almost a running commentary of how they created this entire album and video. Also when V looks at the stadium its the last place they performed for fans. Enjoy!!!

Having the album just confirms what this mv sets up, most of it feels highquality but still homemade, the making book is like a little notebook with lyric notes and polaroid pictures of behind shots etc everything about this comeback feels like 7 friends with a big budget coming together to make some great things

Thank you very much for this video reaction and reaction on gcf tokyo! It was so interesting to watch! I'm not involved anywhere near filming, shooting, etc., but your comments on editing were really interesting for me - they point out things that i couldn't notice. We know how important video editing and well especially gcf tokyo are for jungkook - i think, you can tell this just by all of the effort he put on this, none of it was planned, it really was about the story, and I'm so glad you pointed out how you could tell that he was happy at the moment of filming his trip with jimin (that's why I actually doubt that gcf tokyo is possible to recreate, more of a meaning, then technical part)
I'm also happy for jungkook getting chance to direct mv - he expressed that wish like in 2014 even, i guess. So it was interesting for me to look at these videos from proffesional point of view. I'll be looking for your new videos! c:
On a more personal note. I don't think I could express in words how important bts are for me. I watched them grow since 2014, I grow with them, as we are the same generation, I learned things like self-love, self-care, respect and many more with their support. There were times so low that the only thing keeping me from ending everything was bangtan, their songs. You say that you like spring day and I can't begin to describe how much this song means for me. Those feelings it has - pain and joy, despair and hope at the same time. It's healing song, as life goes on is too. I just... my grandpa died in jule, and after 44 days my dad died too. Pain is tearing me apart, and though this grief will never fade away, i know there's place where i can heal, they are mine inner soul home, and I'm so lucky to find them 💜

I know everyone has their thoughts so here’s mine ~ To be honest this song speaks for itself from what they’ve said this is their first full self written produced album and this MV which Jungkook filmed himself in majority of their real house. The song talks about how the global nations stopped when COVID19 started and trying adjust by keep spreading positivity despite the life changes which include not being able to see the excitement & meeting of fans; all you can do is cry & smile through the whole music video seeing them enjoying each others’ company and relaxing while we fans’ ask ourselves what happens next once the group goes on a long temporary hiatus? Seeing Suga actually soft rap singing after such a long time since SOPE (SUGA x J-Hope duo) 👀 Taehyung driving looking over at the 1988 Seoul Olympics Complex Stadium where they were supposed start their next World Tour missing ARMY since the outbreak happened they had to cancel it but they had prepared online concert called #BangBangCon where they performed their track setlist. Our precious JK added his GCF within the video of them having a good time being happy long before the pandemic and watching the MV all I can think of how close its getting to Jin & Suga possible enlistments and how it’s going to effect kpop communities along with members? I do hope they can take a proper rest before continuing on solo projects; At the same time we cant stop being worried 😟 for their safety or health as the pandemic continues even though they’re right “Life Goes On” but it doesn’t make it any easier. The other that they did with this music video is that they are reflecting the MV to how 2020 has been. It’s like a comfort to how this song has been.when they were looking at the TV, it was a mirror to them.

They posted a video eating around a table talking about how to do this MV. Everyone gave ideas, a good brainstorming. They decided to shot themselves doing things inside home and experiencing the pandemic times. They also decided JungKook was the person in charge of the project. Amazing.

For all we know this could be one of JK's college project too. After all, his major is (someone correct me if am wrong) Broadcasting and Entertainment and videography/filmmaking is just one of his many interests. I'm thinking that it's so cool that they are all taking up courses that are related to their work/craft.
In case you haven't told them yet, except for JK who's still in the midst of his undergraduate studies, the other 6 members are apparently currently attending graduate school : MBA in Advertising and Media.

Actually, the members like that they tour together. Sure, maybe it was tough at first, but they have talked about it a lot about how lonely it would be to be a solo artist. They consider themselves seven soulmates and closer than family. Jin says, if he does something without the others, it's like forgetting his wallet or phone at home - like something crucial is missing.
The mind behind it is precisely Jungkook. And it didn't take that many months, they actually showed all the album process in real time, all the discussions and ideas. The great team that created this was the members themselves. JK was the director AND was behind the camera at parts, and every shot came from the members themselves. For example, the bike is there bc JK knows that RM likes going biking in the river and couldn't bc of covid.
Another data: the bedroom and living room scenes were filmed in the boys own house. The bedroom is Jimin and JHope's. The bonsai is RMs real bonsai. And the concert is their REAL convert, they did a virtual one and after day 2 ended, they got dressed again and filmed that part.

They filmed the performance segment after day 1 of the Map of the Soul concert. There is almost a running commentary of how they created this entire album and video. Also when V looks at the stadium its the last place they performed for fans. Enjoy!!!

I’m not sure if someone has said this yet, but the black-and-white stage scene at the end was filmed after their ON:E live stream performance. The lights in the back were like the army bombs during the concert. So they would already have high-tech cameras, Make-up, mics, etc. ready.
