They used to put the watermark over the button prompts on the mid-left side of the screen and people complained they couldn't tell what was happening with the cursor. No matter where they put it it's going to impact something sadly.
You're right, but top right would be better - it would very occasionally get in the way of some of opponent's lands, and super old scry information when that window is open.
I wish these videos came out when the event is on, one it stops people going onto mtgo thinking the event is on and two it can help people learn how to draft these flashback sets.

Why run the green cards? I'm trying to improve my play and I don't understand why the two card splash... wouldn't the consistency be better than the power gained from the groodion?
Julian T both the way finder and groodion play well with his game plan, he was getting light on playables, and... it's LSV so he will take on a little risk for sweet cards.
He was a bit low on good cards since the draft signals were kinda weird, and had enough fixing to make it worth it (probably). He also may have felt it was more fun to play the green splash - many of the pros do not go for the highest win % while streaming in order to add in a bit more entertainment value. You're on the right track regretting the loss of consistency though.
Although Ravnica is based around 2 color guilds, all the mana fixing lends itself to 3 color decks in draft. He was able to splash some good cards off of green and even had some synergy between the groodion and the sprites.
Can someone please explain to me the benefit of the bounce lands? I have no understanding of why someone would want to play them off-color (Boros, for ex) but I know there's got to be a benefit that I'm just not seeing.... Thanks!
Hopefully, you would agree that Divination is a strong card in limited - spend 3 mana, draw 2 cards. Bounce-lands aren't quite divination, but they don't cost a spell slot in your deck, and they also don't "cost" 3 mana, and they're still a 2 for 1. A hand with a bounce-land and a normal land has 3 mana sources. It's like you have this imaginary 8th card in your hand, a land, that you can turn into a real card by playing the bounce-land, since even though it came off the battlefield, your total number of mana sources on the battlefield still went up by 1, just like playing a normal land.
if you have a land and a karoo in hand your essentially have 3 mana. Also anything that uptaps lands can make them really good. Look at amulet decks in modern.
if salty guy can't get his deck going with 4 lands and each of his 3 colors he may want to consider a different draft strategy... like taking a bounce land perhaps, or draw spells, or things costing less than 5 you come off less salty if you've messaged your opp previously with non-salty comments. you never get a second chance to make a salt impression

You keep the cards. They have gone back and forth on this and these drafts used to be phantom and were cheaper but these days you keep the cards.

Drawing land from Bob is great when you're flooded. If Bob wasn't there you would be flooded for more turns. Never look a Bob land in the mouth.
