So good to see the sun shining this week after 2+weeks of rain, thunder and lighting, wind and throw in an earthquake. Hoping for the best as April progresses. The CA ground squirrels are really interesting...thanks for adding to my nature knowledge bank. Have a great time at retreat!
I am so very happy that the sun has come out & the rain has gone for a while. I love the sunshine! 🥰Thank you for sharing with us & making your videos. ❤️
Love seeing the video of the kid! I love orange marmalade on toast. I was able to see a partial eclipse of the sun in Colorado last week. Have fun at the retreat!
Sleeping with the windows open is wonderful. The sun was shining today as we volunteered for our section of the Adopt-a-Highway cleanup. Then we took care of yard work at my mom's house and then our house. Vitamin D overload! I do like orange marmalade on toast. Mmmm. Great stitching in action - congratulations to all the stitchers! Thanks for sharing!
Glad you are enjoying a bit of nice weather, we actually had blues skies and a little sun today, something I was beginning to think we would never see again, so much rain and grey dull days, it’s hard to get motivated on days like that, my goodness what talented stitchers, the bees in the greenhouse is fabulous , well done Catherine.
Hopefully the nice weather lasted for a bit! We are actually spoiled with sunshine here, but I lived in Portland for a long time and I totally understand the months of gray weather. ❤️
Hot, buttery biscuits and marmalade -- puppies enjoying the outdoors -- and squirrels🥰 What more could anyone ask for in a Floss Tube??? Enjoying the warmer weather as well😎 Happy stitching and researching those seed catalogs 😁
Isn’t it wonderful get the windows open and enjoy the fresh air, I love it, it would never be warm enough to leave windows open at night here , but I always have my bedroom window on the latch, aren’t squirrels just the cutest little guys, thanks for all the info, Sun.
Fresh air is so wonderful. Fingers crossed the fire season this year won't be too bad, and we can enjoy the nice breeze all summer without having to zip up the house because of smoke. ❤️
I love to watch the squirrels in our local park, we have very few red it mostly grey , but I still think they are cute and fun to watch and walking in the park is so much nicer when the sun is shining.
Hello Jeannine from Ontario, Canada. We're having typical spring weather here although today we have high winds....still, I love it blowing through the house which doesn't seem so bad when the sun is shining brightly. As always, I so enjoy that you showcase the stitcher's finishes (they are so beautiful in many ways), & education about our world around. I never knew about the ground squirrel!
I've lived in some windy areas myself (I spent a few years in eastern Montana, near the Canadian border and the wind was a constant presence) but like you I think the fresh air makes up for quite a bit! And it's a pleasure to have the windows open and the sun shining - even if it's a cooler day. ❤️
Thanks as always for the wonderful info on a new animal it’s always so much fun and you’ve done such great research so thank you and hope you have lots of sun happy stitching.Cheers!
❤. Not much sun for us here in Northern California. Rain yesterday (Saturday). I loved hearing about the California Squirrel! Have a wonderful safe trip to the retreat!!!❤
❤marmalade especially the lime one eating it in the sun we had some lovely sunny mornings here and it's lovely eating my breakfast in the garden with all the sounds of nature around me ❤ very interesting about the squirrels we have the grey and the odd red ones in England ❤
Wonderful! I have some new violas in the ground as well - fingers crossed they'll make it through the inevitable frosty nights over the next few weeks. ❤️
I've actually never had marmalade! Oh, I love being able to open the windows at night and have the fresh breeze come in as I sleep. Spring and autumn only, usually, unless we're near the ocean. The breezes and sounds coming from the ocean absolutely require opening the windows! Have a fabulous time at the retreat! Safe travels😊
Hello from a gorgeous day here in the uk, the sun is shining and there is hardly breeze, which a very welcome relief after all the storms we have been having, oh my the stitching is fabulous, I love the way stitchers can take a design and with only changing a few colours they make it look totally different, I am terrible at picking floss to change anything, Have a great evening.
Oh that sounds absolutely delightful! I've never experienced a spring in the UK, but I imagine that it's green and wonderful. And I'm sure you could adjust colors as well, but it's nice that you don't have to, right? Sometimes you just want to stitch what's there and not stress about thread combinations.❤️
Thank you for another interesting flosstube - fascinating facts about a fascinating squirrel! We only have two squirrels in the UK, the grey and the red and both are tree dwellers. We were lucky enough to see some red squirrels last year at a special conservation area and they are very pretty. Not that they'd like the weather at the moment - fleeting glimpses of sun amid lots of rain. And more rain. Hope the retreat goes well, Kim ❤
Thank you for another greyt flosstube.I always look forward to seeing your fur babies at the end. I have had 4 greys during a 23 year spand rescue or retired.I had a brindle,2 fawns and a black. We will not be getting anymore unfortunately. I only have marmalade once in a blue moon,as long as it's not too bitter. It has been a long cold winter here in Ontario Canada and I look forward to feeding the SUN on my face.
Love your hair today! Interesting squirrel, always fascinating learning how God put the different protection naturally in each creature. I am ready for Sun with warmth in it. Here in central Oregon still chilly and cloudy. Marmalade is always good, I’ve eaten mostly orange but the grapefruit sounds really good. Happy retreat!
We are very lucky to have a really good butchers in village where I live and he makes the most delicious pork and marmalade sausages , so when the sun is out, the bbq is getting fired up……… yummy.
I don’t like marmalade or jelly (just butter). Those squirrels remind me of the prairie dogs that were everywhere when we lived just outside of Denver. I’m glad the week of rain has ended, and we can finally see the sun.
So nice to see you again! The sun is shining here in Oregon, which is a real treat as you know! I don't know that I have ever tasted real marmalade, guess I should add that to my bucket list!
I completely understand - when the sun comes out it's like everyone is absolutely giddy! (We have sun almost all the time here, so we don't get that Vitamin D euphoria.) ❤️
I hope you have a great time at the retreat. And that the sun is shining and brings good vibes all around. I like marmalade. Grapefruit sounds intriguing and I’ll have to look for it. Have a couple of good weeks.
Your room behind you looks so nice with the sun shine coming through the window. I love orange marmalade! I feel like I'm getting a serving of fruit on my toast ☺️
Sun screen. It's what I always forget in my first hike of the spring which was yesterday. Fresh in my memory. I am not a fan of marmalade but now I'm going to have to get some and retry it. I never cared for sweet potatoes until I was in my mid 40's and I tried a new dish and now they are o e of my favorite foods! So I'll give marmalade another try because some times tastes change! Enjoy your trip!
Hi. That was very interesting info about the squirrels! I think now that I’ve been an adult for 30 plus years it’s time to try marmalade again! lol. I hated it as a kid but I have this feeling I will like it now. The sun has been so warm lately that our snow is almost all gone and we can enjoy spring!
I’m sitting outside on my little deck under the blue sky and soooo happy to see the sun again! PS I’m stitching 12 Dogs of Christmas while watching your video!
The sun is finally shining in Cincinnati after many, many days of rain. I’ve never been a big marmalade eater but that might be because I’ve never really given it a try.
I'm so glad you're getting some sunshine! As necessary as the rain is (and I really love rain) the sun is always a welcome change, especially in spring. ❤️
Love to see the sun shining here again, even though we ida a small amount of rain the last couple of days. You showed the ground squirrels we have where I live. I was sent a video from a friend and they own a ranch and this squirrel was stomping his feet and swishing his tail rapidly trying to get the snake away from where he lived. This is just what you described today. It was quit fascinating to watch.
Jannine, Greetjngs from the Piney Woods of East Texas. I am so enjoying the sun after 5 days of unrelenting rain and Thunderstorms. Our neighbor had an old tree snap off and fall in our front yard, thank goodness no one was hurt! I lived learning about the ground squirrels in yourneck of the woods. Isn't interesting how animals adapt to their surroundings and challenges??. Have a great week and I hope that You enjoy Quilters Station.
Greetings from the high desert! We've had some of that spring rain here as well, although nothing like a Texas thunderstorm. (Those are something else altogether.) I'm glad you weren't hurt by the falling tree - that must have been quite a shock! ❤️
I definitely need my caffeine hit to get me going in the mornings, I would love to be one of those people that as soon as the sun is up they are up and at it, it definitely takes me a little while to ease into the morning.
I seem to ease into it more and more these days, although the dogs are always ready to get up and go! If only I could teach them to make the coffee... 🤣❤️
Southeast Arizona weather has been rather peculiar in recent months. It’s a combination of bright sun, mild temperatures and a bitterly cold wind. I moved here for the mild climate so I lament “this is not what I signed up for!!” to one and all😂
We've had some of that weather as well! If you're in the sun it's OK, but as soon as you're in shade, or the wind kicks up it's a whole different experience. ❤️
We use orange marmalade mixed with cranberries to make cranberry relish for Thanksgiving (along with some added toasted walnuts) ...delicious! Hope your retreat is full of sun & fun! Quilter's Station is a total playground for needleworkers! Travel safe!
Thank you for the video. I feel sad that I have never had marmalade, but chokecherry jam is quite a good change. The hedgehog is the mascot for bobbin lacers, so I need to do some stitching. I love to watch the sun rise it helps me get going and do my small jobs around the house.
I've never had chokecherry jam! But I'd love to try it someday. And how interesting that the hedgehog is the mascot for bobbin lacers - I had no idea. I wonder how that came about? If you send me your mailing address (my email address is blueflowerstitching@gmail.com) I'd love to send you the chart. ❤️
I make sourdough bread every week. My husband loves it toasted with peanut butter and orange marmalade on it. I will eat it but prefer seedless Blackberry Jam. Thank you for showing my Tudor Hare piece. It was really fun to stitch. Sun
I would have a hard time choosing between your two options! Fresh bread is such a delight. Thank you for sending the Tudor Hare photo for me to share! ❤️
The squirrels in my area seem to have taken a keen interest in my garden this Spring. I have about 20 Crocus flowers blooming in the grass that form a line between the garden beds in the back yard all the way around to the front of the house. I spent Saturday digging up these bulbs and replanting them in the garden. We’ll see how long they remain there 😅 I’m the only one in my family that doesn’t like Marmalade or Cherries either. Sun
I confess, I have never replanted crocus bulbs. Fingers crossed they work well for you! We had them naturalized in our grass in Portland, and they were one of the early signs of spring for us. ❤️
I love marmalade! You can make a nice cocktail with marmalades as well! We are in middle TN and the sun is finally shining after a full week of rainy dreary weather!
I do love marmalade. When my mother was pregnant with me, she craved it and ate it every day. She tried it after she had me and did not enjoy it and never had it again. I think I am the only one in my family that likes and eats it. Even my son will only eat it once in a while. Funny how things go sometimes. I hope you have a wonderful retreat and safe travels.
I too am enjoying the sun in my part of Ontario, Canada today. I do like marmalade but seldom have it as I don't eat a lot of bread products to use it on. I find your World Around segments very informative. Thanks for the knowledge you provide us.
Love the greenhouse finish…that’s one I plan to stitch myself. Great info about the ground squirrels. I didn’t know that some are resistant to snake venom..how interesting! Exciting thing here this week is that we got to see an eclipse of the Sun. Marmalade: My spouse likes the ones with some bitter, but I do NOT. Before the big freeze here in South Texas in February 2021, we had some citrus trees. We made our marmalade with some of the fruit. Grapefruit and Ponderosa Lemon made marmalade that was just too bitter for me. I loved the Meyer Lemon and Minneola marmalade, however, one some toast or an English muffin. 😊
I forgot to say that the mothers will chew shed rattlesnake skins and then lick their babies to camouflage the scent. How was the eclipse? We didn't have the full effect here, but it was still fascinating. ❤️
Always an interesting video. Thank you. I love marmalade! I used to make one at Christmas time for gifts. It had a grapefruit, orange, mandarin and kumquat if I could find them. The secret ingredient was a shot of scotch near the end of cooking. Yummy! ❤
We've had a fair bit of rain here as well, compared to normal. We'll be thankful for it later in the yar, I think, but I'm so anxious to get the garden properly started and waiting for the soil to warm up! ❤️
Fascinating info on those squirrels! I learn something new in every episode you post! I don't buy marmalde, but I do like it. I bet I would love grapefruit marmalade, though! - Rain or Sun, I hope you have a great time at the retreat! Can't wait to hear all about it!
I would love to make my own marmalade (and jam) someday, but I keep buying it for now. In the meantime, I'm getting ready to head out and hopefully take some photos at the retreat so I can share them when I get back. 🤣❤️
Just love all those different fabrics, gorgeous colours, I have only just progressed to 28 count lugana, my not sure my eyes could adjust to higher count than that, but if the sun is out and it’s a nice bright , you never know.
Good light makes all the difference, doesn't it? That said, there's no need to work on something that's difficult to see. The older I get the more I need magnification assistance! ❤️
I can also store food in my cheeks for later lol 😅😂 I love squirrels. ❤ I only use marmalade for cooking. The sun has brought the pnw many daffodils. I think that fabric looks like spring flowers.
I love marmalade, have made from scratch with youngest daughter. We finally have sun here in the PNW. the info about the squirrel so interesting am planning to share with husband and sister.
I adore your top! Orange marmalade is the only kind I have had. Love it. Got to find some grapefruit marmalade; that sounds fun. I am "that" squirrel! In Texas the SUN is too much! I stay inside all summer and aestivate. 😊
Oh yes, that Texas heat is fierce. The sun is more intense here (higher elevation) but if you're in the shade it's MUCH cooler and in Texas the air is just hot no matter what. We need to get that "staying inside" vibe going. I have no idea that "aestivate" was my life goal! 🤣❤️
So fun to learn about the CA ground squirrel! Never really gave much thought to all the different squirrel species. I do enjoy marmalade. My favorite is apricot. I make a ham recipe that uses apricot marmalade. Have a nice time at the retreat!
I haven't had marmalade for many years. I know as a child I didn't like it. But I should probably give it a try again since my tastes have changed. We have had so much rain lately here on the east coat. I'm hoping we see the sun soon. 🌞
I love marmalade. The grapefruit sounds fabulous. It's finally a (sun)ny day here in Ohio 😊. Loved the info on the squirrels. You ought to design a pattern. 😊
Hi Janine, I hope you have a nice time at the retreat :) a few weeks ago I was at the Essex Needles Retreat 🇬🇧 it was great. Spring has definitely arrived here, but so has the rain and wind. I'm looking forward to more sun. I have never tried marmalade jam. Take care x
Great customer finishes. I do not like marmalade, jam, or jelly.😆 Very interesting about the Ground Squirrel. I still have Chuck ie visiting each morning for a treat. 1 day I threw him some popcorn, & he buried each piece of it! 😅 I have been enjoying the Sun the last few days. Have fun at the retreat! Marilyn
Jeannine! Greetings from Dallas! I do like marmalade! My sister-in-law made our family some orange marmalade for Christmas one year. She said she would never do that again. Lol! Sun. Thanks so much!
Greetings! I hope you're enjoying some warm spring weather (we're not quite there yet, but so very close). I've never made marmalade, but I might put in the work because I love the results so much. But maybe I should learn from your sister-in-law and just keep buying it! 🤣❤️
Love Marmalade! Costco has a new product that is basically Orange/Lemon with Ginger Marmalade that you mix with water (I use hot and then let it cool down) to drink. It is wonderful!
I like the fabrics you picked up. I’m stitching a Waxing Moon design with a sun button to use when finishing. Marmalade is great. I haven’t had it very often, but boy, it’s top shelf stuff
I was wondering what happened to all our ground squirrels this winter. I didn’t realize they hibernate. Thanks for the info as always. The only thing I know about marmalade, is that my father hated it because that’s all they got in the war. So, I’ve never tried it because my mother never bought it. I like how you are showing your market purchases. ❤
Thank you for the naturalism moment, loved it! I sometimes put scientific names in my Flosstube. I'm working on a bib using elements from your Forest Home pattern. I didn't get to go to 2022 PNWSS.
I am not a fan of marmalade. I love blackberry preserves with the seeds which are hard to find. We had a couple beautiful days with sun shining but this evening it decided to rain. It wasn't a thunderstorm as predicted so I'm thankful for that. I have two plastic garbage cans catching rain water in case we have a dry summer. Last summer wasn't so dry but boy oh boy, it seemed to be windy all summer.
Oh yes, blackberries are lovely. I wonder why it's hard to find the seeded preserves, since it's easy to find raspberry preserves with their seeds. How are your rain barrels working? We've thought about adding some but always worried about mosquitos. ❤️
@@theblueflower2115 I don't know why the Blackberry preserves with seeds are hard to find. We had a farm that sold some made by the Amish but they sold their farm so we lost that source. We order Blackberry, Peach and Strawberry Preserves and Apple Butter from The Loveless Cafe when they have sales going on. All four are delicious and yes, the Blackberry Preserves are seeded. The plastic garbage cans hold the water well, not pretty or fancy and they don't have a spigot-I just dunk my watering can in to fill them up. I put the lid on when no rain is forecast but I bought some Mosquito bits and they suggest putting it in a Mesh bag to treat the water. The mosquitoes hatched and came out in full force today! I'll have to read the instructions again. I was working outside today and we had a downpour with hail. It didn't last long and I went back to work afterward. They predicted rain for tonight, not 5 pm. Oh well, it's just water.
@@natureluvr_d7186 You've inspired me to look into rain barrels again. Anything to preserve water in this desert! And also, now I'm falling down an internet rabbit hole looking for blackberry jam... 🤣🤣
I didn't come to appreciate marmalade until I turned wiser with age (heehee); I especially enjoy some orange marmalade on toast. Ok, so I am showing my age here, but I'm a huge John Denver fan, so like his song, I love the sun !! 🎶🎵"Sunshine on my shoulders, make me happy..."🎵🎶
Hi, I seem to be very late in catching up with my flosstube, time is disappearing like snow off a ditch, I hope we see more sun than we have so far this Spring,
It really is flying by, isn't it? We've had a pretty sunny spring so far, but we're not out of the (frosty) woods yet - still covering seedlings whenever the temps get too low. ❤️
Had to go out to a party today and it was gloomy and rainy. Erk. I much prefer going out and about in the sun. I have to say a big NO to marmalade. I've tried it a couple of times but 😝.
I am not a fan of marmalade. I have used it in a crockpot recipe and it was fine but I don't care for it on toast. It has been raining here for 4 days. I hope to see the sun tomorrow.
Um, I have never had marmalade. (I know, I know, what's wrong with me!) --- I think your dogs' motto should be "play hard, sleep hard"! It was nice seeing the black and white greyhound running in the sun ! Sorry, I don't know your puppies' individual names. Have fun at the Quilter's Station!!
Mosi (the black and white greyhound) absolutely loves to run! She does it at least twice a day, and she's so happy. But she also loves to spend the rest of her day with a full schedule of napping. 🤣❤️
I absolutely love to watch the squirrels play in the sun.
Marmalade on warm sourdough is a little slice of heaven ❤❤
So good to see the sun shining this week after 2+weeks of rain, thunder and lighting, wind and throw in an earthquake. Hoping for the best as April progresses. The CA ground squirrels are really interesting...thanks for adding to my nature knowledge bank. Have a great time at retreat!
Whew - you've been through it! I'm glad you're getting some sunshine and a chance to enjoy spring weather. ❤️
Sitting out and stitching in the sun is always a treat! Thanks for sharing the fun fact about the CA ground squirrels.
I am so very happy that the sun has come out & the rain has gone for a while. I love the sunshine! 🥰Thank you for sharing with us & making your videos. ❤️
Thank you for sharing your time with me! ❤️
Have a wonderful weekend and happy stitching 😊🧵🪡🤗🤩
Love seeing the video of the kid! I love orange marmalade on toast. I was able to see a partial eclipse of the sun in Colorado last week. Have fun at the retreat!
How fun! I tried to catch a glimpse in the shadows here, but we didn't have much coverage. ❤️
Thank you Theresa! ❤️
Sleeping with the windows open is wonderful. The sun was shining today as we volunteered for our section of the Adopt-a-Highway cleanup. Vitamin D overload indeed! Something about the first real warm sunshine of the year is so intoxicating, isn't it? ❤️
The sun shines all year long. Happy Spring. Love the designs...thanks so much.

Oh I'll bet! They love when they can properly bask, don't they? ❤️
Hot, buttery biscuits and marmalade -- puppies enjoying the outdoors -- and squirrels🥰 What more could anyone ask for in a Floss Tube??? Enjoying the warmer weather as well😎 Happy stitching and researching those seed catalogs 😁
Now I'm just trying to find growing space for all those seeds! 🤣❤️
Love seeing the sun coming up every morning earlier every day. Living in Alaska it's always nice to see more daylight instead of night.
I can only imagine! We're enjoying the longer days here, but we never get such short days as you do. ❤️
Here comes the sun, little darling. Interesting info on the squirrels! ❤
The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and Bees in the Greenhouse is my nest scheduled start!
Yay! I hope you enjoy it!
Isn’t it wonderful get the windows open and enjoy the fresh air, I love it, it would never be warm enough to leave windows open at night here , but I always have my bedroom window on the latch, aren’t squirrels just the cutest little guys, thanks for all the info, Sun.

I’ve enjoyed sitting in the sun this weekend watching the rabbits that always show up in my yard during the spring.
I do like all kind of marmalades. I love when the sun is shining.

Loved the story of the squirrel. Marmalade on toast is lovely and you can include it in a cake. Enjoy your retreat and thank you for your designs.🎉
Oh yes, I'd love to have it in cake! ❤️

Thank you for another greyt flosstube.I always look forward to seeing your fur babies at the end.

Thanks for the squirrel info, very interesting! Quite windy here today with lots of sun.
Love your hair today! Interesting squirrel, always fascinating learning how God put the different protection naturally in each creature. I am ready for Sun with warmth in it. Oh that sounds delicious! ❤️
H I there I have had marmalade and I love it. Some marmalades are orange yellow like the sun. Have a great week!
Oh my goodness I love that sun! I’d love to find a perfect summer stitch for it.
I don’t like marmalade or jelly (just butter). Those squirrels remind me of the prairie dogs that were everywhere when we lived just outside of Denver.
I’m glad the week of rain has ended, and we can finally see the sun.
Yes, they are quite similar to prairie dogs, and they move like them as well. ❤️
So nice to see you again! The sun is shining here in Oregon, which is a real treat as you know! I don't know that I have ever tasted real marmalade, guess I should add that to my bucket list!

Your room behind you looks so nice with the sun shine coming through the window. I love orange marmalade! I feel like I'm getting a serving of fruit on my toast ☺️

I hated it as a kid but I have this feeling I will like it now. The sun has been so warm lately that our snow is almost all gone and we can enjoy spring!
It's so interesting the way our tastes change throughout life. Fingers crossed you'll be able to take marmalade off the "yucky" list! 🤣❤️
I’m sitting outside on my little deck under the blue sky and soooo happy to see the sun again! PS I’m stitching 12 Dogs of Christmas while watching your video!
Oh yay! ❤️
Oh that must have been amazing to see! 😍❤️
@@theblueflower2115 yes, it was amazing. A little freaky. Rattlers unnerve me a bit. I had them living under my house.
@@cherylmarch9293 That would really unnerve me as well!
That sounds delicious. I'm a huge fan of cranberry and citrus, as well as walnuts. ❤️
I have never tried marmalade. We have had a lot of rain here in NE Ohio so I am looking forward to some sun.
My British grandmothers favorite is marmalade
Sun
Ooh so fun, the sun fabric is beautiful!
I love marmalade! You can make a nice cocktail with marmalades as well! We are in middle TN and the sun is finally shining after a full week of rainy dreary weather!
Oh that sounds delicious. What else do you put with the marmalade? ❤️
She put you on the right path! 🤣🤣🤣❤️
I too am enjoying the sun in my part of Ontario, Canada today. I do like marmalade but seldom have it as I don't eat a lot of bread products to use it on. I find your World Around segments very informative. Thanks for the knowledge you provide us.
Oh thank you! I'm glad you're getting some sunny weather finally. ❤️
Yummy! ❤
Oh that marmalade sounds absolutely delicious! ❤️
Marmalade...my daughter makes delicious blood orange marmalade. Yumm. I live in sunny southern CA where the sun spends the winter.
That sounds delicious! Blood oranges are so lovely. ❤️
As it rains again here in the Sierra Foothills I'm so ready for some sun. 🌞 I've never tried marmalade🤔
We've had a fair bit of rain here as well, compared to normal. We'll be thankful for it later in the yar, I think, but I'm so anxious to get the garden properly started and waiting for the soil to warm up! ❤️
Lot's of fun things! I hope you have a wonderful time at your retreat!
Thank you! I did have a lovely time.
I can also store food in my cheeks for later lol 😅😂
I love squirrels. ❤
I only use marmalade for cooking.
The sun has brought the pnw many daffodils. I think that fabric looks like spring flowers.
🤣🤣🤣🤣❤️
Not a huge fan of marmalade but I do love the sun!
I love marmalade, have made from scratch with youngest daughter. We finally have sun here in the PNW. the info about the squirrel so interesting am planning to share with husband and sister.
Was it terribly difficult to make? I've never even made jam, and I don't know whether marmalade is easier or harder to put together. ❤️
@@theblueflower2115 I don’t think difficult at all, just time consuming. And we haven’t yet had a problem with it setting up - gelling.
We have had a lot of sun here in Queen Creek, az lately!
Oh, I've never had apricot marmalade but it sounds delicious! I love apricots, but we've never tried growing them.❤️
Are you able to grow them where you live in Nevada? That would be so fun!!
I haven't had marmalade for many years. I know as a child I didn't like it. But I should probably give it a try again since my tastes have changed. We have had so much rain lately here on the east coat. I'm hoping we see the sun soon. 🌞
Fingers crossed the marmalade tasting goes better this time! And here's hoping that you get some sunshine soon as well. ❤️
I love marmalade. The grapefruit sounds fabulous. It's finally a (sun)ny day here in Ohio 😊. Loved the info on the squirrels. You ought to design a pattern. 😊
I really should! I'll put it on the list. 🤣❤️
Take care x
Oh that must have been a great event! I saw the information online and it looked like such fun. ❤️
Great customer finishes.
I do not like marmalade, jam, or jelly.😆
Very interesting about the Ground Squirrel.
I still have Chuck ie visiting each morning for a treat.
1 day I threw him some popcorn, & he buried each piece of it! 😅
I have been enjoying the Sun the last few days.
Have fun at the retreat!
Marilyn
I can totally picture him storing away his popcorn for later! 🤣❤️
LOL!!!
My husband and I went fishing last weekend and I got too much sun!!
Enjoyed the visit! I hope you are enjoying the sun as well as the night breezes. Marmalade is not really a favorite of mine. 💜 - Connie
It works out - I'll happily eat all the marmalade to keep you safe. 🤣❤️
Love Marmalade! Costco has a new product that is basically Orange/Lemon with Ginger Marmalade that you mix with water (I use hot and then let it cool down) to drink. It is wonderful!
Ooh, that sounds lovely! ❤️
I like the fabrics you picked up. I’m stitching a Waxing Moon design with a sun button to use when finishing.
Marmalade is great. I haven’t had it very often, but boy, it’s top shelf stuff
That Waxing Moon sounds lovely! ❤️
Yes, I can imagine that association would leave a bad taste (so to speak). ❤️
@@theblueflower2115 nice pun.😁
I don't think I've ever tried marmalade! Sounds like I need to try it :) Those squirrels have come out of hibernation here in OR - they love the sun~!
I think everything in Oregon gets absolutely giddy when the sun comes out - I know I always did! 🤣❤️
I do like orange marmalade. I’ve never tried it in grapefruit flavor but would like to. Have a great retreat! Sun
Thank you! I hope you find some grapefruit marmalade to try soon. 🤣❤️
Thank you for the naturalism moment, loved it! I sometimes put scientific names in my Flosstube. I'm working on a bib using elements from your Forest Home pattern. I didn't get to go to 2022 PNWSS.
Oh that sounds like a great project - I'd love to see how it comes out! ❤️
❤❤❤
I didn't come to appreciate marmalade until I turned wiser with age (heehee); I especially enjoy some orange marmalade on toast. Ok, so I am showing my age here, but I'm a huge John Denver fan, so like his song, I love the sun !! 🎶🎵"Sunshine on my shoulders, make me happy..."🎵🎶
You're never too old for a classic!! ❤️
Marmalade: Lime. Love it. Hard to find it though 😢.
Oh that sounds lovely! Now I need to go searching myself. ❤️
I promise to eat all the marmalade so you don't have to! 🤣❤️
@@theblueflower2115 😄
I am not a fan of marmalade. I have used it in a crockpot recipe and it was fine but I don't care for it on toast. It has been raining here for 4 days. I hope to see the sun tomorrow.
Fingers crossed you've had some sunshine! ❤️
🐴🐴🐴
Whoops I forgot to mention that I don't like mamelade . The little fruit strings get stuck in my teeth!!.
Sorry, but marmalade is just not my jam! Dogs are and I love seeing yours. Let the spring sun shine on!
🤣🤣🤣 I see what you did there! ❤️
Marmalade is one of my favourites. Glad that the sun is shining today.
