WHATS THE BEST WAY TO CLEAN CARPET | STEAM CLEANING VS DRY CLEANING VS VLM VS CHEM DRY

This video aims to show the different process and how they actually work so you can make a informed decision. we primary use steam cleaning as our preferred cleaning method because nothing gives as deep of a clean as steam cleaning done right however i do have the equipment to do vlm/dry cleaning and dry compound in case a specific situation requires it

Doesn't steam cleaning encourage mold and mildew because it is wet and if not dried quickly?

yes it can ! this is why its important to clean it properly . if cleaned and dried correctly it is the most effective cleaning method as you are removing more soil ,bacteria and allergens then any other method . if done correctly it is no different then washing your clothes

@@notyouraveragecarpetcleaning I did some research and some websites say that dry cleaning is the best carpet cleaning method. They say that steam cleaning leaves moisture and promotes long-term problems and may eve make stains worse after cleaning. But do you know if Stanley Steemers do a good job with their steam cleaning method? I am thinking of trying them out on a room or two to test how long it takes to dry.

@@omgbygollywow you have to be careful alot of dry cleaning only companys have started smear campaigns in order to make dry cleaning look like the better option. while dry cleaning is a effective method it does not have the ability to rinse out contaminates like hot water extraction does this is why it is almost never recommended for effective urine treatment . as for stanley steemer they are a franchise company so your local office will have different results then my local office . one thing you have to consider is that besides a few national brands the majority of the carpet industry is locally owned and operated companys and most of the time (not always) you will find that the local guys will give much better attention to detail and the process then a mass contract cleaner like stanley steemer or other franchise cleaning company

How does this compare to oxygen cleaning? What’s the best for cat pee?

oxygen products kill organic material so all forms of cleaning can utilize oxygen products . with cat pee your going to be left with a salt as well so with pee rinsing or hot water extraction will be your best chance at removing the dead organic matter and the salts left behind

sponge cleaning/dry powder cleaning is a waste of time, do not bother with any of it it only cleans the surface, it doesnt get deep into the carpet where all the dirt actually is

sponges can be used on very sensitive fibers that can not get wet this makes them useful for certain case scenarios
