@@dmitryb1286 Dualies are nice, but they are too wide for my preferences and you're stuck with a specific tire and height for your truck. Also hard to get big soft offroading tires on a duallie when you want to do some climbing. Not for me.
All they have is a engine and half way good tranny with the asin, the rest of the truck is junk.... for 85k msrp might as well buy a used newer ford and swap it with a Cummins if you love Cummins so much
I'm not as annoyed at the DEF as I thought I'd be. Had a 2000 Power Stroke for almost 15 years....so never needed it. But they did a couple of things which made it easier to stomach: They put the DEF-fill right next to the fuel fill, and they have a gauge right on the dash at the lower left which shows the tank level so you KNOW when you're getting low. 5.5-gallon tank. With occasional boat towing, I usually see about 5000 miles until I'm looking for a DEF pump. I'm sure you frequent towers would have to fill more frequently.

Beautiful truck! Has ALL the bells and whistles. I opted for less cabin and more payload and cargo in the bed. Got the crew-cab long-box, which gives me just north of 4300# of payload. I looked at a couple mega-cabs, but it didn't overcome need for long-box and payload. Each to their own...lol! Not a criticism. Great review! 👍

Man, I gotta get one of these! I don't need a truck or tow anything, except when I have to go to the Home Depot to get mulch maybe once a year, but seeing as I have ED, something like this is just the cure! Plus that interior is so nice, I don't have to get basic work model (because I'm obviously not going to be using this for work, that's silly!), to have a huge truck to look cool in!
I'm a big Cummins fan, but I think an Ecodiesel would be a better fit for you. It gets better fuel mileage than the Cummins or Hemi, and still tows what you need.
I owned a ram HD Cummins and FCA would issue recalls left and right on major safety points that they should have corrected as the trucks were being built. Made the switch back to a Silverado duramax and can not be happier.
I was going to buy my third Silverado.but, with the diesel the def tank sits right under the passenger side and it sticks down over a foot below that. It waiting to hit something.
Don’t get me wrong but front end looks to pieced together but still like the look of truck!! Just wish had more uniform complete look on front!! Lil hand reminds me of scary movie! LOVE IT

@@entreptiles It's all personal preference. I personally like the bench set up better cause you can have the extra seat in the front. It's also nice when you can have your girl sit next to you. My dad likes the consel setup better as well, so you too might be able to bond over that fact.
No you don't need one but with a diesel engine it might be beneficial to have one just in case of an unusually cold night or if you travel to a colder area.

No H/O Cummins for the non dually and no 10 speed really pisses me off. I want a 2500 or 3500 HD with the H/O Cummins and the fact they won't offer that is annoying.

Ummm you know only get regular cab and dual read drive will get over 7K payload and over 35K haul.

One reason is if you stuck or about to get stuck. Traction control will limit your ability to gain momentum.

Joshua. You can get a High Output in the non Dually 3500. I just sat in one at the dealer. The 2500 will not have the High Output option.
