i was so proud of you for your first video and felt so happy to know that i've not been alone in my struggle with mental health and to get some clarification as to why you came off in such a bad light on geordie shore. i always knew these type of things weren't 100% true but i never really understood the extent of it and was so horrified when I saw your video. i would also like to recommend a book called "The Psychopath Test" by jon ronson. in it, he demonstrates PERFECTLY what you were saying about the casting process in your previous video, about how they're less likely to take mentally stable people as there wouldn't be as much drama, essentially. there's a portion of the book where he interviews a woman who used to be in the casting process for a well known talk show, and she came up with a way to get the ones perfect for ratings - ask what medication they were on. If they were on a hardcore medication they weren't allowed on as they were TOO mentally unstable, but anything relatively "mild" they were just right for producing the right amount of drama with no serious consequences. This continued until one of the people who went on the show attempted suicide, I think? and phoned her and stayed on the line until paramedics arrived. It just shows how casting people truly think they've hit gold with people who aren't too mentally unhealthy but not so mentally healthy they're boring to watch. Anyway, I'm so proud of you Sarah! Thanks for this video!!

Hey Sarah, just wanted to say I think you're an inspiration to many girls who innocently go into reality tv. I'll be honest the impression geordie shore gave you on tele was horrible, but from hearing your story and your version of events you can see that a lot of the upset was down to your illness. And in terms of your help me video you need to go on your own journey and what your gut feeling tells you to do, do what you are passionate about, but I would think you should go into youth work and work with people younger than you and help them dealing with depression and anxieties. You are doing amazing! Keep going with the videos! Xx

Have you watched the TV show "UnReal"? It's a drama about the dark side of reality TV.. There's literally a storyline where the producers don't allow one of the "Batchelor" type show contestants to have her Bipolar medication because it would make good Television.. Have you watched the TV show "UnReal"? It's a drama about the dark side of reality TV.. There's literally a storyline where the producers don't allow one of the "Batchelor" type show contestants to have her Bipolar medication because it would make good Television.. Seriously you should watch it if you haven't.. I reckon you'll relate.. Also It's so nice to see a geordie lass on TH-cam, there's not enough of our lot YouTubing!
