This was actually in the original on GameCube. You could connect a special adapter to play fusion on your tv, and if you beat both, you could play as fusion samus

You would use the Link Cable, which allowed you to connect the GameCube to a GBA, for that. If you had a completed Prime save file, you could connect it to Fusion to unlock the suit in Prime. And if you had a complete Fusion save, you could connect it to the GameCube to unlock the original NES Metroid to play in Prime. In order to unlock the Fusion Suit in Prime using a Game Boy Player, you'd have to have 2 GameCubes - one running Prime, the other running Fusion on a Game Boy Player with a link cable running to a controller port in GameCube 1.
Playing Dread made me wanna replay Prime. I never actually got the Fusion Suit despite having gotten Fusion before Trilogy. Probably gonna use it for my run.
I personally think the basic fusion suit looks the best. Thank you for providing all the variations of the suit I had trouble finding them on google images ❤ I just did a 100% run on normal, however the game is just too darn good that I might do another playthrough on veteran difficulty with the fusion suit.
i do like the fusion suits colours, the gravity variation looks the best there, and the orange looks the worse, how do you like the samus returns suits? they seem all slightly redesigned
Traditional Varia suit, all fusion suits, and all suits in echos look very good in my opinion. However I dislike the PED quite a lot. I think it is "too serious" for Samus design and it looks taked on without much though

It is cool that the English mistranslation became Canon in other languages. In the original Japanese version of metroid it actually properly translates to barrier suit. Also just like how the chozo statues were just called bird statues in Japanese.

horstheinz wenn du dort den Fusion Suit haben möchtest musst du ihn in den Extras als erstes erwerben, weil auf der Wii U gibt es ja kein Internet für Wii Spiele und man hat wenige "grüne Coupons"am Anfang die man braucht für den Fusion Suit

is it just me or is the wii version of metroid prime super ugly? I mean damn it looks like all the textures are muddied, like an iOS game from 2011. Gamecube version is superior in every way.

@@Kaiser69 they may be deadlier, but the biggest threat against them is Metroids themeselves. Hence, why Samus can absorb X Parasites and heal

It comes off a little cartoony in Prime's realistic artstyle but it's still a great design nonetheless. Too bad it didn't come back for the Remaster.
