as you can see from the amount of viewers in part 1, many will try, but only few will make it to part 2. Lol. that's fingerstyle picking for you
flyforrestfly nah, some people (including me) just got the tab from the first video and then learnt the song solely from the tab itself.
I just listen to Gareth play it and then get it by ear. It saves a ton of time. I recommend training your ear!

Please help....in lesson 1 After finger roll you "hit the third string and then the first string" and then Gareth says "play it and pull up to the fourth" what exactly is he doing here? what does this mean?

The reason some of you may not have the same tone as his guitar is because when you put the capo on the third fret, some of your guitars' tone may be altered, having unexpected results. I was having the same problem as most of you, you really have to hear his guitar and try to mimic his sound the best you can.

tune ur strings as open and don`t use capo while tuning and follow the sequence DADGAD... i hop it will be useful for u.
