  • Liang Weikeng (Chinese: 梁伟铿; pinyin: Liáng Wěikēng; born 30 November 2000) is a Chinese badminton player.[1] He was part of the Chinese junior squad that won gold medals in the 2018 World Junior Championships in Markham and the Asia Junior Championships in Jakarta. He won his first World Tour title at the 2022 Japan Open with Wang Chang.
    Wang Chang (Chinese: 王昶; pinyin: Wáng Chǎng; born 7 May 2001) is a Chinese badminton player. Born in Ningbo, Zhejiang, Wang who trained in Ningbo training centre, entered the provincial team in 2015, and in the national team in 2017. After being selected to join the national team, he started his partnership with Di Zijian in the men's doubles discipline.[1] He made a debut in the international tournament at the 2017 Badminton Asia Junior Championships, and claimed the gold medal in the boys' doubles event.[1][2] He also participated at the 2017 World Junior Championships where he helped the team to take the Suhandinata Cup, and he also won the silver medal in the boys' doubles event.[1][3] In 2018, he won the boys' doubles and mixed team titles at the Asia and World Junior Championships.

    Their playstyle is like minions in their golden era
    Wang chang playstyle is just like Kevin sanjaya
    liang wang is just like gideon, but with better powerful smash
    I predict they will be like at least top three Man Doubles in 1-2 years

      Seems the only missing piece is their experience with big tournaments. In All England semi final, Liang got way too nervous in the nail biting third game and made quite a few net and serve errors at those critical 20+ score moments. This is a new era for MD, and they are on a high tide to shine in the coming Olympic.

      @@prinprin36 u're right mate, and the new rivalry era just begun. i think their best rival now is Rankireddy/Shetty. They're adapting new fast pace and flat game nowadays, thanks to minions who introduce this playstyle back in the 2018
