Daxing Airport is one of the most beautiful airports in the world. Several years ago, I experienced a similar delay at Wuhan Tianhe Airport and received a free lunch as well as another meal on board later on. Not like in "the bad old days", China has plenty of food to offer, one has to eat selectively to avoid being overfed.
