Such a great tune, goes straight to your soul!! After so many years of influencing electronic music they sound more actual and powerful than ever. All my respect and I hope to have Orbital prezent in my player for many years to come as it was for more than two decades.

I dunno where these lyrics are coming from but there's so much that doesn't sound like what it actually sounds like or make any sense and it's being spread all over. For example I actually hear: "So we'll sit in our new garden reminiscing to the moon." "Give it all you got 'til you won in a five a side." (Is a reach but is a lot closer sylable wise) "But it's your ..... in there I misplaced." is a whole lot closer to what it could be (read the lips). Not sure what that noun is.
Yes, this sounds more commercial and mainstream pop than typical orbital tracks (maybe the most in their discography), but it's really beautiful, elegant, and with trademark orbital beats... I really love to hear them doing something a bit out of their comfort zone... so very welcome track!
@@monohedron9633 Going all Royksopp is no bad thing, but they've never had the substance of honest commentary that P&P have always had. There are some seriously good tracks on their Mysteries collections.
They've done quite a few commercial/pop tracks over the years, especially since '96. Beached, The Saint, Style are a few of the singles off the top of my head. I think they are getting more mellow as they get older, but aren't we all?

Here we've got all out lyrics, some love theme, and a ladyface video. Not complainin' (god, I bought the album in preorder, I hope there's some rough techno there...), but just noticing the change...

I suppose another way of saying things is that all bands do their best work when they are young. Orbital are now in their 5th decade of making music and not doing a bad job of it. I'll be buying the new album to have a complete set of their music still 👍

Are these confirmed as the actual lyrics? I don't hear "But it's such a lucky day, I dance, dance…" at all, it sounds like "But it's a dog eat dog business". This is also alluded to in the comments by Paul Hartnoll when the track was released - "But don’t be fooled by the sweetness of the sound, the lyrics have some bite. It’s a dog-eat-dog world...”
I love the lyrics to this song myself. People have their own (entitled opinions)/interpretations but this resonates with me. Well written by Penelope and great job by Paul & Phil Hartnoll!
