    Here's what makes the Crown Opal fountain pen our most exclusive design yet:
    * We worked closely with Hiren from Magna Carta to customize the design of this exclusive fountain pen.
    * Magna Carta makes their barrel materials, nibs, and feeds in-house
    * The opalescent creamy pearl acrylic barrel shines with hints of iridescent color throughout its swirling material.
    * Magna Carta's #6 size 14kt gold flex nib provides vintage-like flex and consistent ink flow thanks to the ebonite feed.
    * The size and shape of the Libertatum pen model have a generous, oversized feel while being comfortable to hold for long writing sessions.
    * Choose the convenience of international ink cartridges or converter (included) to fill this pen.
    * Only 30 pens were made (not numbered)
    * Gift boxed with a 5-year warranty.
    * With such a small number of pens made, we realize that there may be some who might miss out on this drop. If this pen is "out of stock" by the time you see this e-mail, please don't fret! Add your e-mail address to the "back in stock" notification. If this pen sells out quickly and we have enough interest to make a second run, we will ask Hiren to make us more of these pens.

    It looks substantial, and ”opalescent”! That flex looks so soft and springy! Good thing I don’t need another pen!

    I have the Mag 600 and absolutely love it. My only real issue is that the ink doesn't always reach the bottom and I have to sometimes turn it around as if I'm about to do reverse writing to get it flowing to the tip again before writing.
    Besides that frustrating thing, it's a lot of fun!

    Tom , I have heard substantial complaints about the feed not keeping up. What has your customer experience been?

      We've experienced a couple of returns but overall, people are happy with the flex nib and feed. Where are you finding these complaints?

    Exercise caution with Magna Carta pens. I spent nearly $400 on two, only to be disappointed. The first, a denim pen, is flawed by a missing cap seal, causing it to dry out almost instantly once inked. The second pen features a peculiar filler system that barely retains any ink. My experience with this brand has been underwhelming, and I have no intention of purchasing their products again. A word of caution: these pens are manufactured in India, and it appears that their quality control is severely lacking. In my over 40 years of pen collecting, these are among the worst I've encountered. In short, they are substandard.
