I’ve played quite a bit of Infinite - around 5500 games (mostly crossplay - 1800+ top rank). I hate to be the guy who accuses others of cheating. But, I’ve run into a lot of other people the past couple of months who are either walling, have a softer aimbot, or who are using other types of shooting mods. Couple the fact that this game has tons of cheaters who go unpenalized with the desync I consistently experience, and I’ve about had enough.

Aim bot and aim assist are completely different. This is a terrible argument too. CHeating and hacking is for losers who only want instant gratification and have no capable way of even getting the kills they land.

Pre-nading is extremely normal, especially in this game where nades are so powerful. If all PC players were cheaters then there would be no PC gaming community left anymore. Not only that, but Luciid himself plays on PC as does 99% of the pro circuit. I don't usually say this but; sounds like you have a case of bad kid syndrome.. The remedy? Git gud.
I'm thousands of games I've only noticed obvious cheaters a few times. I'm sure there were more but nothing that majorly stood out in the high diamond/low onyx range. In halo you often pre-nade and even pre-fire if you have any idea of where your enemy was headed and you're guessing. But especially nades. If you see it this much, I think it's very possible that you are just wrongly attributing typical guesses etc to cheating. Not saying this is you, but you will notice a similar behavior when playing solo with random teammates. They often blame certain unlikely things such as bad/unfair spawns, bad shooting, good straffing, punch lunges etc as defects in the game rather than owning up to their own faults. I guarantee people who play against lucid think this often since he will back up at the right time making you miss a lunge, or makes getting the finishing heads hot really hard, or escape when low on health.

And I thought we were done with cheaters but last week I found one too, we played ball un recharge, he made a very sus play with the shock against me with camo in C, like a full 360 but he didnt fully connected so I won the fight after checking teather he has walls, very obvious. As soon as he respawns he goes straight to the enemys and locks.🙄
I think what they've really gotta do is remove PC players' reticle *entirely*. THAT will catch the cheaters! Really though, still salty over the red reticle because it can be a little useful for vision through smoke.
U think I ran into a cheater yesterday. Was dying in ways I never die. The dude always knew where I was in spots that people shouldn't know. Pretty annoying that people do it and I really don't get it. I have never started a game and said man I wish I could cheat to win. Ridiculous

It looked like a nervous player pre aiming around corners to me. And in a couple of those corners he got lucky, which might look like cheating but in my opinion it was just pre aiming. That is just my opinion, you don't have to agree
I’d respectfully disagree. Lucid is arguably the best halo infinite player on the entire planet and I’d trust his judgement based on that alone. Then at 6:10 you can see the aiming reticle track a player perfectly through the wall and somehow wind up exactly on them for the no scope. They even knew to jump and didn’t have to do a flick to re adjust because they were already perfectly on target somehow. Tracking through a wall like that and almost pulling of a no adjustment no scope is not something even top level pros predict or often do. Actual pre aiming in that situation would have been looking elbow or top tower where a player is likely to appear. This dude isn’t pre aiming or checking corners. It looks like they know exactly where a player is before they’re even there, which is consistent with walling/cheating. The bottom mid shot could have been good awareness/skill. But the way they pre aimed 3 out of 3 times in a row + the definite wall tracking in the last shot is beyond coincidence.
While preaiming, you generally take the long way around, and you aim at a specific point, to be able to react if indeed there's an enemy around that part. This guy aimed at lucid exactly when he jumped, when he couldn't even see anything, not to the aisle where a player might appear. This is exactly the kind of behavior you see in walls, not in precautions.
Doesn't look like cheating to me. His awareness was decent, as was his shot. Nothing that jumps out as being definitive proof of cheating though. Love you Lucid, you're an amazing player, but listening to you talk, it's clear that you don't think anything is ever your fault. Sometimes you just get caught. That's all.
