I dont understand why they arent using forge made maps tailored to 1v1s. The community doubles playlist has great 2v2 based maps that would work way better than big ass plaza.
Whatever that rusty map is that gets oddball all the time would be a great 1v1 map. Snipe and OV on the map. Multi leveled. All kinds of opportunity to get creative with how you play it. I really don't understand the choice to use Plaza outside of it being a "new" map.
For someone known with an aggressive play style, Bound sure did play like a rat here. It got him the win, but he totally changed here out of fear of Lucid’s skill.

This was boring as hell to watch. I like Bound, but why didn’t he take more gun fights instead of playing so ratty. I also think that the Midship remake would have been a better map to use for a 1v1.
I mean, It’s not his fault lucid is too good to try to go into berserk mode, guy’s trying to use the playground to equal the skill gap. It’s 100% whoever chooses the map fault, there are better options for a 1v1 than this huge ass map.
