On the hutch cabinet, it looks great empty!! In order to not refill it, maybe take it down and open up your dining space a bit. Just a suggestion. I LOVE that idea! That would look so pretty! I've always struggled with figuring out how to utilize all the cabinets in my home, we have a lot. Loving your vids! I think you should consider taking those empty top cabinets down in the dining room. It will open the space up and will stop you being tempted to fill them with more ‘stuff’!! 🤗
The one you have your crayons in, I have the same one for markers for my son. He left the lid off one day after he used them and I asked him twice to put the cover back on before someone steps on it and breaks their neck (because we have tile floors, which are very slippery, and the cover for it blends into our tiles). Well, later that day he still hadn't picked it up (he was only about five at the time), and we were in a hurry to leave to catch the store before it closed. His dad was getting them (him and little brother) into the car to leave, I was still inside making sure we got everything. Because I was in a huge hurry I wasn't paying attention and stepped right on it. I was wearing high heels, so when I stepped on it, it slid sideways toward my other foot and my ankle gave out. I heard a sound like a piece of drift wood breaking and then pain..... So much pain! I fell sideways to the floor. As I was laying there, I yelled to Adam (the kids dad) for help. At this point I was in shock, I knew I had just broken my ankle because I heard it, but the full amount of pain hadn't kicked in yet. When he came in, he was confused why I was on the floor. I said to him, "I just fell and broke my ankle!". He didn't believe me, it broke my heart! So a quick trip to the store turned into a long trip to the ER. As soon as we got there is when the pain really started getting bad. Because the pain was so intense I started baking and started feeling really nauseous. They did an x-Ray and sure enough I not only broke my ankle I displaced my whole foot! My bones were where the middle of my foot was supposed to be. Two days after it happened I had surgery to correct it. Oh, I forgot to mention that I had just had a baby like 2 or 3 months before this. I got really upset because I was taking care of the baby just as much after I broke my ankle as I did before...... My bedroom is upstairs so the only thing that he had to help me with was getting the baby up and down the stairs for bed..... That is the only thing! This happened almost four years ago and I still have pain in my ankle everyday! So my point is, please be careful to never leave these on a slippery surface that you walk on because you may not notice it and step on it! 😳😁🤕
