This is wonderful music by Brahms, never will it dye. It lives with us, as long as we lives. And it will live after we are dead, for sure. Sorry, we cant take that music with us, when we go. And new generations will love it, over and over again. Me? I´m 73.
Bravo Clara-Jumi and bravo Johannes B.! This is the piece I love the most. I will bear it inside of me till the day I dye, and then I´m sure that other will bear it like I did. Eternal music, it will always be there. And thank you, Clara-Jumi for your courage to show it to me.
@@seymorbutts2389 Yes the violin helps, but I think I if somewone who only play the violin for 2 years, Plays a stradivarius, it wont sound really amazing, and if a violin virtuoso play with a bad instrument, make a great great sound, because the instrument is not the all, I dont know if I explain myself
The piano has too much echo...I think the sound was edited but the echo added to the piano was more than the violin. If the piano had less echo it would have matched better because it sounds as if the piano is in a cave and the violin is in the room.
This studio, Audioguy in Seoul, normally (without audience) has an unusually long reverberation time naturally (over 2s, I forget exactly), but a low ceiling (I assume they just have one floor in the building), so it has some interesting effects including sometimes a boxy sound, in contrast to the openness a room with a higher ceiling might give. I happen to like the sound of this recording most of the time (they have great engineers and equipment and it’s a nice sounding room overall), but I admit it is interesting. On the other hand, there are some weird effects with reverb at the end especially that don’t feel natural. It may be that with an audience covering the floor, the sound was much drier than usual so they added some, somewhat clumsily?
Il ne faut pas tirer des plans sur la comète, la virtuose ne sait pas ce qui l'attend? beautiful, as if johanna martzy lives again, it is a flow of the one qi, a song with 3 sighs, a starting again of the original one, it is an ode on Love, a cult of devotion, balanced, natural and inspirational playing, indeed a cultivation of spiritual dynamic equilibrium. From Me

Brahms is not Paganini. To get Brahms right one must take off their clothes ( figuratively). Also try closing the piano for more intimacy. The subject of this piece is romantic love as eveyone should know.
An outstanding performance of Brahms' work by Clara -Jumi Kang. Bravo.......

Absolutely beautiful! You play so well and are a brilliant violinist! You were meant to play Brahms!
Wonderful!
Excellent Clara, I really really enjoyed watching you playing so beautifully, and stunningly too
Tone is beautiful. Both musicians are ultra talented.
Touching and mature rendering of this transcendental piece... Bravo!
Bravo! I really love your ideas. Thank you for share with us.
Nailed. Every.Single.Note.
The violin she is playing sounds so warm and strong
Is not the violin, is the sound that she produce, wonderful tone, amazing techniq, perfection
Also Audioguy in Seoul has a nice sounding studio, and good engineers and recording equipment. It’s a combination of all these things.

As one of my teachers once told me: "You were born to play the violin."
This is a lovely performance but the one she did in 2019 is much better. Obviously more mature and musically colourful.

Dedicate your life to something just like how they did to the violin. Then you will have a chance.

Shout out to the pianists thumb
remember;, Brahms is dionysian. He's not for everyone.
Nice interpretation, but the acoustics sound bad...or maybe unnatural...pity.
too much echo in small room... this strad violin needs bigger or at least more sound absorbing music hall
