Really nice video :) And for those who don't want to block their EGR but instead cleaning it i highly reccomend soaking them in a bucket of diesel and let them sit for 12 hours :) Your EGR will be like factory new :)

Hi all I was sceptical about blanking&deleted egr valves, but my 2.7d xf jaguar which is a beautiful car just kept sending up code fault, I had enough of this sh.t, giving the dealer my hard earned money, so my local mechanic said leave my car with him, on return he said take the car on the motorway for a 20mile hard drive and come back. O my gosh, my car drove better than new with improved power, smooth accelerator improvement, tone of the engine was much quieter. Mechanic cleaned my MAF sensor, cleaned the throttle body, blanked&deleted egr, cleaned pipes &air filter ducting & remapped ECU giving me 40-50more bhp. Best £250 I've ever spent I will never sale my car runs like a Bentley.

Thank you, if you have money for car do straight pipe, bigger turbo, more efficient jets and big front intercooler, cold air + chip tunning and you have insane car and engine will hold that. Or if not just clean intake, throw out egr, clean jets with fuel additive, and get square sport air filter to original box - i do all this budget way :)

Laszlo Albert Do not try to cancel the EGR, my dad made a method similar to that of the video and almost ignited the car of the temperature that had the EGR, also jump a clamp of the pipe that goes to the turbo. To really fix the problem is to either clean the entire EGR or change it, my dad did this last because diaphragm that sucks and generates the vacuum was broken and the only solution was to change the EGR. And with that there was an inclement change in the performance and consumption of the car. He has an A4 2005 B6 1.9 TDI

Hi. Need advice. My Audi a6 c5 saloon 1.9 tdi not want to pull from the start acceleration, until I reach nearly 2000 rev. Then releasing slightly the clutch it start move but do feel some lose of power. Even when less then 2000 rev on first gear the engine wants stop. Like no fuel. Reaching up to 5 gear its gain speed very slow and finally on 5-th gear the top is 3000 rev and only 80 m/ph. Had changed turbocharger, MAF sensor, all4 injectors, but still same. Can this be a EGR problem or I need to look some other thing like MAP sensor or any solenoids? Thanks in advance.

    • @Work_G
      @Work_G  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Hello! Just check if your intake is not cloged up it shouldnt be EGR. If your replaced with good turbocharger, MAF and injectors, then I suggest to check your vacuum lines or replace them all. Then try to change MAP sensor and last should be N57 valve. This is cheap to change so start from that. If not it can be problems with your fuel pump or timing.

EGR is exhaust gas recirculation back to engine intake. It's meant for ecology, but for old car it can be broken and cause issues. On this engine runs even better

I have no power (like a dead horse) under 2000 rpm but after 2000 rpm (because of 162hp remap) it goes like a rocket. I suspect the EGR because one time I got EGR fault code and after cleaning it, it was ok for some time but now again...Will your method give me check engine light? Since your car is newer egr deleting can cause problems, but if you really want to delete it not just clean than I think after removing you will need some programing works to remap egr. not exactly an EGR delete... just an EGR valve removal/blanking... Actual EGR delete is when you remap the ECU to not activate EGR valve during your engines operation...
Just blanking off the EGR valve alone, will throw an ECU error code, and perhaps give Engine Check Light on dashboard..

I think yes but that is more complicated. You need to remap and reprogram otherwise if you do like i do you get check engine light i think.

Ben senin yerinde olsaydım EGR Valfinin takılı olduğu giriş manifoldunun ağzını kapatmak yerine Dump Valve alıp monte ederdim. Gazı kestiğinde fazladan sıkışan havayı dışarı atsın turboya zarar gelmesin diye.

If google translate is right what i understand :D So there is no damage and everything is ok and if you leave that area for air there will be exaust dirt in it and over time there will be in exhaust manifold.

    • @Work_G

I do, but I put sport air filter in original place and now gas pedal is bit more sensitive, and only with egr deleting you dont get that mutch difference (just a bit). If you want to get more power than you should do bigger intercooler, delete egr and sport air filter.

It will be ok, but for that car you probably will need to disable egr on ecu, otherwise it can give fault code

How stupid, car builders have spent millions to design egr valves to protect the environment for us and our kids and all this foolery is just undoing a lot of good work. Just clean the erg valve and keep it running and cleaning the exhaust emissions as it was designed to do. the planet is more important then a stupid useless mod.

Hahahaha.. you really think you're saving the planet by lowering emissions in cars? Propaganda has really done quite a number on you.
It's all about money and finding ways to milk it from every angle. They even managed to get sheep like you to parrot their bullshit in order to put the blame on consumers. I bet you think socialism is a good idea too as they go hand-in-hand. Fucking tool.

All the egr does is blow dirty air back into the engine. My 180000 mile 17year old PD115 B5 passat now runs the equivalent to a euro 2 spec vehicle on the emissions with a complete egr valve delete.

EGR makes MORE particulate matter, and CO both of which are highly toxic to all animals. Without EGR the fuel burn is ultra efficient but NOx and CO2 emissions increase. Which are greenhouse gasses, but non-toxic ones.
