I can totally relate on becoming more into interior design as you get older. Because you become very aware of how much you're surroundings influence your state of mind. If you live in filth and disorganization and dont take care of your belongings then chances are your life is a lot less balanced than someone who personalizes their living space and cleans up after themselves. Same with scents...i notice im more peaceful if i have like a candle going in the kitchen vs walking in and smelling the trash can. Just small things like that can make a big difference.

@@bread386 yeah i feel like interior design was more of a booming profession like 20-30 years ago...today there's so many tools to do it yourself...like Pinterest for example. My cousin went to college for interior design and does pretty well but I think she does more like office buildings.

It’s amazing the conversations you can have with someone doing your hair, makeup or nails. It’s a beautiful exchange. Props to her nail artist Natalie too, she has a very engaging personality and I love the design of her nail salon. It’s very quirky.
