As a fan, I’ve never been surprised by her shaving her head and her brows. Her saying “it gives artists a canvas” is so on brand. She loves expressing herself. It’s one of my favorite things about her.

I love that Doja is starting to share her self with us more like her mom & aunt being a painter. I always felt like she had some huge walls up to protect herself. Or used humor as a self preservation.
Her mum & grandmother being a painter isn’t a secret. She has mentioned this various times in interviews for years now.
She def uses humor for protection.
It's not news though. Her father is also a South African actor, filmmaker and producer. She's got creativity in her blood.
