When I started making journals I had a small Ziploc bag for my scraps, and I could not comprehend why do people need "deal with scraps" ideas. Well, fast forward three years...I have found my little bag recently, on the bottom of my current gigantic scrap container, that doesn't even hold half of my left-overs lol

I was blown away these junk journals are so much better than junk, these are a museum, and Gallery of Awesomeness,I intend to watch everything I can on how to build one! At the thrift store yesterday I got a notebook with cool paper in it but the real find was someone a pic of people I dont know but went to an Ohio State Basketball Game, and there tickets to the game wow 2013 was on them and we played Pennsylvania thanks to you dear Pam I have this sweetness!Thanks Oceans!
Miss Pam, when you tear with the ruler, try putting the ruler on the edge and tearing the big piece from that, instead of putting the ruler on the piece and trying to tear a narrow edge. Saved me a lot of trouble!

LOL, hey Jaide! Not long actually! Well it started about 5 years ago now, it has been emptied I think maybe 3 times but it fills right back up again ;) It breeds when I sleep, I am sure of it ;)

Finally settling down with all these fires in Oregon. This is the first time since they began that I've had time to just listen to or watch videos. We are still of a level 1 evac alert here, but I tell you, it was great to craft with you during your video this evening. I actually made quite a few ephemera pieces and booklets out of my scrap pile.
Loved when you forgot to pause the camera while sewing and then your pausing/turning it back on got a little out of whack. Makes me laugh to know I'm not the only one who does things backwards! TFS and for the giggles. 😁
I'm looking at everything in a new light. Tea bag packets, blueprints, removable wrappers from beer cans, and I have access to many many cigar bands. Thank you.

I'm working on 4 journals Simultaneously, 2 having Very Complex Original Design Builds that I've come up with. I'm Very Excited to work my way through All of the details as I create until the wee hours through early morn night after night.

Fall is in the Air~Birds Chirping, Squirrels gathering for the upcoming winter season, deer and turkeys coming by to say hello! Crunchy leaves on nature's floor~ my Most Favorite of All Seasons! I'm grabbing my cup of coffee, Throwing Caution to the Wind as I Randomly dump my Organized paper/fabric/ scraps & bits in One Box Together (Oh My! and YES! ) and setting up Outdoors in Nature's Window Seat!

I didn't see him or her for couple weeks, was worried about~then Rick saw in the woods at dusk dawn one early evening feasting on scrap buffet With a Friend!! Awww! Soo Happy to see my little friend And its companion! :)
I have a couple of Metal peacocks in garden area, Owls start a Ruckus at night Hollering at top of their lungs~sounds like a Forest full of Monkeys! Upon waking following morning, All metal peacocks are knocked over. Apparently Owls don't like Peacocks~who knew? There used to be a Live Peacock that came around regularly, was neighbors peacock but spent most time of her days here and next door at Ms. Lois'. She'd occasionally sleep in bed of Rick's truck or elsewhere on property. He leaves early in morning, she'd scream and scare the daylights out of him! Her best friend was a Turkey. They went Everywhere together. Precious Duo! Fox Screams at night like a Screaming Woman and Coyotes howl. Ahhh...the Sights & Sounds of Nature in Kentucky!
I made my friend an envelop journal from a paper bag- inspired by Pam's work on her channel. And I filled it with "goodies" also inspired by Pam here. I know they call it "Happy Mail"...and I sent it to my friend...and BOY OH BOY did it make her HAPPY. She was having a bad week, said she'd been cranky and when she opened up the package and had so many 'goodies' to go through and ooh and ahh over...it made her happy. I had sent her a link of Pam's video for that origami inspired envelop (that I followed along and made and included in the journal pocket"... and my gosh... it was all a huge hit. Thank you for the inspiration and for helping me spread the happiness you seed.
