It never ceases to amaze me how even our smartest fans develop such short memories about this kind of thing. We have been burned too many times by taking a wild card in the first round. One of the reasons I loved the Darnell Wright pick was because, while he may not be an all pro tackle, he has been there every single game being better each year. I’m with you. Let’s get someone who’s going to be on the field for sure this year. There are plenty of great OL available
@@ClarkHerkes That and I have a bit of PTSD from Teven Jenkins. He fell to the second round in the 2021 draft because of his injury history and now we know why all those teams passed up on him
@@dyingbreed2101 they knew when they drafted Kiran of his med status, and Braxton wasn’t then nor is he now going anywhere for next year anyway. Simmons is still better than Campbell. Guards can be taken later in the draft and also bought in FA. They could prob trade back a few spots and still take Simmons while also adding draft capital.
Only thing I’m worried about is putting 2 rookies on one side of the OL especially being it the blindside. If they draft a rookie LT they need a proven Vet next to him to help him.
Very ok with a trade back into the teens. I'll use your set-up. 1. Josh Conerly Jr, OT 2. Princely Umanmielen, DE 2. Donovan Jackson, IOL 2. Nick Emmanwori, S 3. Cam Skattebo, RB You're welcome.
Love the idea of trading down and picking up an extra 2nd. I also love that Simmons pick, I'd be thrilled if the draft worked out that way. Nolan in the 2nd also great. Also like the JT pick..This is by far your best mock, this mock is my dream scenario. KJ good pick, D Jack at OG is good too. Great job this time around. A+ on this one
You don’t build an offense around any RB these days. You build it around the QB starting with the O-line then skill positions. If the Bears take any RB within the first 3 rounds I will be disappointed.
As a Buckeye fan, I love the Simmons pick. He is a true LT, with the required length and athleticism. Braxton Jones affords us the opportunity ease him into the lineup if he needs a little time early during the season.
I will agree this is the most important off-season for the Chicago Bears since I've been religiously following and watching them and that's about 35 years so it's time I'm so proud of the guys for beating Green Bay in Lambo like Caleb and Rome had that connection on third down so they're gonna carry that with them you know every time they have a good practice it's like yeah we're gonna build on that instead of like yeah, it's good but we lost a green Bay like there's no negative. There's no negative negative hanging over the organization. Everything is positive and it's I'm so excited. I can't even contain myself. I am so excited.
They have to draft a running back and I love your pick in the 2nd round. That guy from Iowa is a beast. Overall, good picks! I like trading down to pick up another 2nd rounder
I think 10 is more valuable in a draft short on dynamic talent. There is a dropoff after 15 for true long term starters in our needed positions of End rusher and o-line.
I would grade this mock B+, need another Safety somewhere in there for depth and I like Kaleb Johnson from Iowa but Cam Skattebo as the "bowling ball" RB Thunder/Lightning alternative to Swift would be a really good fit IMO.....
I don’t love picking an injured player with the first pick or dropping back that far to 16 .. possibly for a high 2nd pick especially for a dude probably not starting till mid season
I don’t like the 1st round pick because taking injured guys that early isn’t something I think Bears can afford. But moving down could be an option if you get a 2nd back. Be nice to have 3 2s in this draft. The 2nd round seems to be juicy 😊
I think the play is trading back like we did here but also (i know its insane but im a ditka guy) trade every 2026 pick and a second for miamis #13. Real good chance of nabbing both Campbell and banks Jr there. Can also explore trading back again with Seattle for #18.
I want the Beard to use the top two picks OLine and best or second best at the position, then Dline or Edge then Safety TE and RB but a big bruising back
Ken Grant is who i think we should take. No push in the middle you can have thebest edge rusher in football and he wont do jack shyt without it. Plus his upside is huge.
@ Honestly if the Bears get two more above average starters on their O line in free agency to pair with Darnell and Braxton I wouldn’t hate the idea of taking Jeanty at 10
I trade back in my mocks to get Simon's. I think if he's healthy he's still the best lt coming out. I also make sure I get Donovan too. I want us to really draft him bad for guard
It would be nice to see a mock with assumption that Bears take Trey Smith in FA. If so, then would trade 1st round pick down and expect an additional 2nd round 2025 pick. I would trade down several spots, pick up best DE available, pick up Omarian Hampton with 1st 2nd round pick, then best DT available, then best LG available
This is what I would do also. Trade down twice and go DE at like 22 and than Hamton in the 2nd, I also think we need to consider S in the 2nd given Brisker is one big hit away from his career being over.
I think if we can pick up Trey Smith or a some other high end free agent for OL/DL then we can afford to pick up one of the top RB's in the draft. Either go after Jeanty or trade back a few spots and take Omarion Hampton or Cam Scattebo. I don't know about Kaleb Johnson... you should be looking at his linemen before him. Those holes they give him are massive. He didn't get touched much early in runs, and when he did he often went down on first contact. On the plus side he has vision to find holes, and he hits the holes fast. It's just that if your looking to complement Swift he doesn't seem to me like the hard yardage guy you are looking for. In a dual running back room he strikes me as more of a Rashaad White in the Rashaad White/Bucky Irving tandem style of backs.
You can trade back for another pick but I’d get multiple offensive linemen then an edge with the first 3 picks. Need veteran offensive lineman and the build in the draft.

I think we need to go edge in round 1. Especially if we have 3 day two picks to fill out the OL
Ashton Jeanty or Will Campbell
RB
Jeanty 100%
Idk man. Offensive linemen with serious injury histories scare me
Exactly
The Bears will never learn. They cannot even pick healthy productive o lineman let alone broken ones.
@@FR-nc3vb I totally agree , The Bears are not in position to Gamble with Draft picks with an Injury History .

Bears have enough injury problems they don't need to add to it by drafting guys who already have injury history
And he’s a big guy playing a physical position…not a good recipe
Yeah I’m done with drafting guys who have season ending injuries regardless of how good they are.
Don't need Tevin Jenkins 2.0
I would love to watch Cam Skattebo play in a bears uniform, Skattebo and Swift would be an amazing dual threat.
He would be good for the bears
I’d prefer Judkins or Hampton. Skattebo just doesn’t look very explosive.
Agreed.
Who are jutkins and hamptonr@@bearclones
He's just another roshon johnson
I want draft coverage and I want coach coverage. This is a make or break year for the Bears.
NO its the start of a NEW ERA YEAR WITH A REAL COACH .....FINALLY
It’s not make or break
Make or break??? We are shattered brother. The only way is up we’ve been ass most of these past 2 decades 😂
I want a roast beef sandwich
this is not a make a break year, treat it like that and you’ll disappoint yourself
Love the Kaleb Johnson pick too!!! You’re killing it so far in this mock, Harrison.
Trade down. NO PRE-INJURED LINEMAN!
Best OL in the draft.
Exactly, they drafted & traded for injured lineman this year, how'd that work out?
They need someone to step in day 1, especially your 1st Rd pick.
@@dyingbreed2101 they knew when they drafted Kiran of his med status, and Braxton wasn’t then nor is he now going anywhere for next year anyway. Simmons is still better than Campbell. Definitely should not draft a rb in the second round...
All of our high picks should be used on both lines. Some of yall have the smoothest brains.
Jack is a late 1st rounder
Simmons knees worry me
Ohio State running back second round
Very ok with a trade back into the teens. I'll use your set-up.
1. Josh Conerly Jr, OT
2. Princely Umanmielen, DE
2. Donovan Jackson, IOL
2. Nick Emmanwori, S

I 100% agree
This draft would be a dream and perfect!
I prefer sawyer over JT and I wouldn’t draft someone with a major knee injury last season in the first round.
Do the Bears need to draft a RB? Type ‘Y’ for Yes or ‘N’ for No
Yes
Yes
Yes
Yes
Yes but in late round
Caleb Johnson is the type of RB you build your offense around, which would help our young QB out immensely.
You don’t build an offense around any RB these days. You build it around the QB starting with the O-line then skill positions. If the Bears take any RB within the first 3 rounds I will be disappointed.
I'm a Happy Chicago Bears fan now🐻
As a Buckeye fan, I love the Simmons pick. He is a true LT, with the required length and athleticism. Braxton Jones affords us the opportunity ease him into the lineup if he needs a little time early during the season.
Taking Simmons with your 1st round pick with that injury would be borderline ret@rded.
Bear down let’s get a good lineman 💙🧡
This prolly was the best first 5 picks ive seen is in a mock draft! Love it 🔥🔥🔥🔥🍾🍾🍾🍾💍
I will agree this is the most important off-season for the Chicago Bears since I've been religiously following and watching them and that's about 35 years so it's time

1. Don’t need to send a 5th round pick
2. Do not draft an injured player, especially a knee. No gurantees it heals completely
Best bears mock draft I’ve seen….
Love this damn draft!! A+++
Love the draft videos but would rather see a “mock offseason” where you speculate about free agency and trade targets to justify your picks.
We already took an OL project player last year. I’d love more of a proven commodity.
Well that isn’t available in this draft when it comes to the offensive tackle position
There are no blue chip OTs in the draft
The best center is the guy from texas
There are many guards that could be starters
James Pearce Jr. First round. Wyatt Milum second round. second round Princely Umanmielen.
They have to draft a running back and I love your pick in the 2nd round. That guy from Iowa is a beast. Overall, good picks! I like trading down to pick up another 2nd rounder
I'm just not comfortable drafting injured players. The risk is not necessary
Grade this Bears mock draft! A, B, C, D or F
First 5 picks are an A+
A all the way
A+
A- B+
A
Incredible draft.
As an Iowa fan, I am praying hard for the bears to get Kaleb Johnson! Iowa also has some flyers on defense they could look at for depth.
I think 10 is more valuable in a draft short on dynamic talent. There is a dropoff after 15 for true long term starters in our needed positions of End rusher and o-line.
Round 1: Banks/Simmons
Round 2: JTT/Umanmeilan
Round 2: Walter Nolen
Round 2: RB(Henderson,Hampton,Judkins)
Round 3: Donovan Jackson
All for trading down. I'd go further back from 16 if the offer was right. 2nd and 3rd rounds are loaded with talent
Best mock yet
Simon's knee injury was serious and it worries me. I really like the trade scenario but I really want Donovan Jackson at LG and signing Smith at RG.
Great looking Draft
David walker is an absolute freak of nature would love to see him on the bears
Harrison’s trades are wild!!! 💀🤨 AZ is not doing that! 😂 appreciate the content though.
I would grade this mock B+, need another Safety somewhere in there for depth and I like Kaleb Johnson from Iowa but Cam Skattebo as the "bowling ball" RB Thunder/Lightning alternative to Swift would be a really good fit IMO.....
Kaleb Johnson from Iowa would be dope! Reminds me of Gibbs
In my mock drafts, I usually trade down the #1 pick to gain another pick and combine Simmons and Jackson too.
As a iowa fan and bears fan horrible offense yes you are right for iowa o line for is another beast they have always been upper tier in college
A. Harrison good job!!!
These mocks are good for analyzing early-ADP but none of it matters until free agency starts
Love drafting Jackson he’s gonna be a very good pro guard
I like this mock. Especially the Simmons pick. He’s a 10 year top left tackle in my opinion.
Would love to see o-line be fixed more than just a band aid of one guy
Would love to see your perfect offseason FA+draft going into next season.
i watched that kaleb kid vs colorado. he a monster. i would love that pick.
I don’t love picking an injured player with the first pick or dropping back that far to 16 .. possibly for a high 2nd pick especially for a dude probably not starting till mid season
Love this mock
Swap Kaleb Johnson with Cam Skattebo and I’m in.
The trade down would be a great idea
I don’t like the 1st round pick because taking injured guys that early isn’t something I think Bears can afford. But moving down could be an option if you get a 2nd back. Be nice to have 3 2s in this draft. The 2nd round seems to be juicy 😊
Loved your draft
Caleb Downs I’m on board with. I’m not on board with drafting an OT battling an injury after Kiran this past year though
Kaleb johnson is my dream as an iowa fan
Trade up for Carter he’s a game changer
JTT in the second round is a GREAT pick. I would love to take him, even if we need to trade up
We don’t need any lineman outside the SEC
I think the play is trading back like we did here but also (i know its insane but im a ditka guy) trade every 2026 pick and a second for miamis #13.
Real good chance of nabbing both Campbell and banks Jr there. Can also explore trading back again with Seattle for #18.
Wow I absolutely love this move, get both the stud OTs in this draft.
Yes. I like Hampton from North Carolina
Mike Green edge rusher great pick

For everyone worried about Josh Simmons he was in consideration of being the first overall pick this year.
Top 10. I would go so far and say 1st overall. That said, I just ( ACL ) is going to kill his stock. I wouldn't touch him in the first round.
@ Honestly if the Bears get two more above average starters on their O line in free agency to pair with Darnell and Braxton I wouldn’t hate the idea of taking Jeanty at 10
I like the trade down idea BUT I would take the 2nd best OT in the draft that does NOT have an injury history.
If we get Nolen in the 2nd, we’re looking good
If the LT from LSU or Texas is there definitely need to draft them, otherwise trade down and fill the trenches anyway possible
I am grading it an A plus Harrison Graham
JTT would be incredible as a bookend for Sweat.
I trade back in my mocks to get Simon's. I think if he's healthy he's still the best lt coming out. I also make sure I get Donovan too. I want us to really draft him bad for guard
I can also see Poles taken Will Campbell in the 1st Devonon Jackson 2nd & start Will at LG & Jackson LT. Man listen 🏈🔥🐻⬇️
Yes if we draft Campbell he will be a G for us and lord knows we need a couple decent ones.
I think the bears should take Ollie Gordon in like the 3rd round
It would be nice to see a mock with assumption that Bears take Trey Smith in FA. If so, then would trade 1st round pick down and expect an additional 2nd round 2025 pick. Our top 3 picks need to be O Line.
B and yes we do need another RB, Roshon isn't being used correctly
i need at least 3 O -linemen in this draft, I need options! tired of settling for mediocre linemen, we need competition
Nobody drafts better than me. I make all the best picks everyday every mock draft.
This is a deep draft at DL, and running back, and I see Ian Cutingham, going to Jacksonville. So an extra 3rd the next 2 years.
I would go with the best player available between Edges and OLineman at 10. For example, if by some miracle Abdul Carter is there at 10 you get him.
You can trade back for another pick but I’d get multiple offensive linemen then an edge with the first 3 picks. Need veteran offensive lineman and the build in the draft.

A. & Y to RB 🏈💯💯🏈.

Not first round, but RJ Harvey is a really good running back and would be a steal
OL is what the Bears need in the early rounds. RB is available with their cap money. WR is not stocked in this draft.
Severe knee injury? Sure sign me up with our first round pick
Would be nice to draft a safety as insurance for Brisker, otherwise great. A-, and the Bears would be delighted if it falls that way.
Agree 100%, if we do trade down and pick up 3 2nds I would love to see us go S there instead of 2 Dlineman.
@@Osmonic74 Agree, just not sure if there's a safety worth a 2nd round pick. Emmanwori from South Carolina, maybe, SS candidate.
Kaleb to the Bears. Gimme all the Hawkeyes
We need to draft more than 1 O-lineman in the top 4
An all Ohio State draft. I’m with it 😂 doubt Sawyer falls to the second now but JT might be there

A that would be amazing
I’d like to see you do a mock only trading up every pick. Bears need stars. Pro bowlers Even if only draft three.
Don’t know college like everyone else here. But IMO need more OL. Of course that depends on what we do in FA.
I want to see Wheeler!
But, we still need to get another SOLID RB.
Wheeler ain’t it bud
@petey34
I didn't say he was "it".
