Only REAL need we have is oline (if we do this trade) I def thing we should do this trade right now everyone saying it’s not the time but it is , we should be trying to win while we have a QB who is on a rookie deal (if they believe Caleb is like that )
He’s one of the elite pass rushers in the game people like you are so oblivious and clueless it’s baffling when players like him become available you do whatever it takes to get him he is worth two first round draft picks it does not matter people act like if you go get a player you’re suddenly handicapped the Bears have like 60 mil in projected cap space they have plenty of money to spend and plenty of draft picks to use go get Myles Garrett point blank period he is worth whatever it takes or don’t and continue searching for players who are at best a third of what he is
@ it would cost quite of bit of draft capital, less cap space, it doesn’t make them SB contenders and they should focus on building with younger players. This draft has some good options at DE you could get even in the second round. Are they Myles Garrett no but we have many holes to fill and it’s better right now to go younger. Now maybe in a year or 2 you go for a Crosby or parsons if they opens up. If you’re in a better position then.
I like how you give Cleveland’s perspective on it too which shows that you are REALISTICALLY seeing if the Bears can land him or not unlike other TH-camrs in Bears la la land.
As excited as I would be it wouldn’t make sense from a front office standpoint. I feel if we were more solid in the oline it would be a no brainer but they are definitely more focused on offense then defense at this point
I don't really care what they trade as long as they maintain their focus on the offensive line.. every year it seems like there's always some trade that you just have to do and the o line never gets addressed.

If the Bears can get real creative with the compensation I’d be all in on this one. Like if we somehow keep our 1st round pick this year. MG would change the level of the defense. We would have enough to still fix the o line.
Understand the appeal of bringing him in but I'd pass. Build the offensive line. If the line was above average then I'd support a splash like this, but too many holes to fill. Of the trade ideas I like the 5th option HG proposed.
Just me , i'm not throwing away draft picks and huge contract. this team needs more than a DE . Love the player but i'm not handicapping my team. Just my thoughts
I would rather have an AWESOME offensive line and just a DESCENT defensive line than vice versa. So I would probably say no to trading picks and using free agent money.
If we can address the O-Line with FA's and a 2nd rounder, then #10 this year + 1st rounder next year for Garrett is pretty interesting. Then the Browns could draft Abdul Carter at #2 and a QB at #10 (Jackson Dart) & bring in Cousins to mentor him... Julius Peppers 2.0 💪
Chicago Bears GM Ryan Poles pursue and Acquire DL Miles Garrett in a Trade with the Cleveland browns, Miles Garrett and montez sweat will be powerhouse of a defense here in Chicago fans would love it.
So long as they fix the OL, sign Tre Smith, Dalman and another LG. I’d give up 10. No one else is offering a top 10 pick for him so that’s fair. But if I can get Hendrickson for a 2nd instead, I might do that.
@ for sure. Would also like to land a RB at some point, give me a Johnson or Scattebo and I officially let the Bears Optimism (Delusion) completely take the wheel.
This has to wait till after Free Agency, if we get the 2 or 3 top O-lineman on the FA market then we can consider being in on Garrett. But if we can't get both Trey Smith & a top C then I think we have to be out. Keeping Williams upright is the most important thing, even it that means having an average defence, which prior to the Washington disaster this unit was above average. If Caleb is a dude he'll over come having only an average D
I will consider trading players like Sweat, Edmunds, Everett plus a 2025 2nd but nothing more. Garrett clearly won't sign a new deal with the Browns so if they won't trade him, just wait until he's a free agent. By then, he would be cheaper because he's old by then and we would have are trenches and RB set by then. Just 2 more years on his contract. 2 more years after that (but I doubt it) as a franchise tag. Be SMART. Not DUMB by giving up much needed draft picks. Don't matter what people say, the Bears biggest need is a franchise RB, second biggest need is OL, third is DL, fourth is CB or S, fifth is WR.
Really not liking all the DE trade rumors. Good free agents this offseason and the draft class is deep. We don’t need to give up draft assets with a rebuilding team
I don’t think you can do this if you were a playoff team last year and you were a Miles Garrett away from potentially being in the Super Bowl yes, I would do it, but you have too many holes on this team to give up all these draft picks
I think it’ll be more of a bidding war between teams that are close to a superbowl they would be willing to sacrifice more then a team that dose have the pics but need to fix more
The Bears basically need one player, an edge to make our defense playoff caliber. We need several O-lineman obviously, but it would be great if at least one side of the ball is elite now. Our O-line can be vastly improved, but it usually takes more than a year.
i like a 10, 39, and our 3rd with a next year second. so then you make your draft look like this: Round 1: Myles Garrett Round 2: *** Round 2: Kaleb Johnson/Oline depending on who’s left Round 3: *** Round 4: Skat Pack Round 5: Malaki Starks
But look at his average sack #'s. Better than Mack's. Either one of those guys opposite Sweat ¿ Idk could start to look like another Bears "D" most all of us remember
It would be so typical for the Bears to trade the farm for a luxury pick. You need to build through the draft, not give the shit away. But then again, it's the Bears.
Too expensive. I thought I heard Hendrickson from the Bengals was a swap of 10 for their 17, a 2nd and D Walker. I’d consider that for a 17 sack guy. We’d still have 17, a second and maybe 2 3rds (ours plus the Ian comp pick). Get 2 OLine, a DT, and a RB. Plus sign Trey Smith.

This is crazy!!...not trading multiple high picks for this guy,we NEED the picks
So we can waste them unproven players that never panned out like usual?
The d-line needs repaired... This guy pretty much does it by himself
I would love to have Myles Garret on the Bears but not at any of those prices.
Trade nothing... Stay focused on the O-LINE!
I’m with you.
Such a dumb person lol
He's too expensive for these draft picks.
Abuse FA and the draft, we don't need huge trades with what we have.
I agree but I wanna see where we are at in April if we already have drew daulman and Trey smith I’d consider it

Sign Mack as a FA and keep the picks
Mack will be a free agent for the first time in his career. He's going to command top dollar.
Too old, let's get guys for the future.
Sign Khalil Mack back he knows the Bears and he would go good with Sweat.
Like this idea better!
@@legitwafflezz9935 Garrett isn’t young, and Mack has a year or two in the tank
Timing isn’t right for a move like this
Agreed.
Care to elaborate
Exactly. The Khalil Mack trade the Bears did was because we were a good team with dogs. Unfortunately Mitch was not the guy.

He means they should wait until after the season is over.
Not interested building the offensive line through the draft is more important
I dont mind trying to get him. I don't want acquiring him to take priority over the Oline though.
We need O-Line help first.
Would rather spend the money on the O-line, keep the picks to get a cheaper/younger pass rusher, and a good power running back.
I like how you give Cleveland’s perspective on it too which shows that you are REALISTICALLY seeing if the Bears can land him or not unlike other TH-camrs in Bears la la land.

ME!!!!!!!!!!!!! I Love the first and last trade scenarios you presented!!! Bear Down!
Adding Garrett makes your 2ndary even better because they don't have to cover as long
2nd 25' + Tremaine Edmunds, 1st 26' for Myles Garrett
Throw in Austin Booker while your at it if that'll get the deal done.
This sounds interesting. Hell, let them have Walker too!

it’ll be nice to have him, but a waste of draft picks the team needs to worry about the offensive line before they worry about trading for him

Hell yeah if you can get him , you get him !
He’s said he wants to play in Philly. But the Bears have MUCH more money to offer him.
Oh God if he goes to Philly, their d line would be filthy..
We need a new O-line desperately. That said, Myles Garrett is a force multiplier on defense. The sum would be greater than the individual players.
If the Bears can get real creative with the compensation I’d be all in on this one. Like if we somehow keep our 1st round pick this year. MG would change the level of the defense. We would have enough to still fix the o line.
Throw a couple players +plus a couple picks this yr & next
It could work
With as many holes as the Bears have to fill, it may not be a great move, however I would love to have Myles Garrett as a Bear.
Harrison, we need offensive lineman as a priority.

I think he has two years left on the contract so if he can diva his way out for a reasonable trade i would try it
I don’t think the juice is worth the squeeze. Great player but we need to prioritize o-line and investing assets there. Garrett is a luxury.
I would rather have an AWESOME offensive line and just a DESCENT defensive line than vice versa. So I would probably say no to trading picks and using free agent money.
No more trading away 1st round picks. Give Garrett all that money and browns all those picks? Hell na. I thought we had a terrible o line
Detriot, Baltimore or Buffalo Should make the trade and win a SB. For anyone else it's a bad long term deal.
Poles wants to trade down our 1st round pick, I heard 🤔🤔🤔
Sweat and Garret 😎😎😎😎
Ryan Pace would have traded everything away for Myles.
I want a offensive line .Period. End of story.
My heart dropped and then blew up at the same time because of your title
Same bro. I didn’t see the ? At first
Keep the picks and go all in for offensive linemen. Get a FA veteran snd use a 2nd round pick for an edge. O line is top priority.
Keep the picks
How much would you give up for Myles Garrett in a trade?
A 1st and a 5th
1st or 2nd round pick. Don't overpay
Would #10, next year second and Austin Booker be fair??
2nd round and 1 3rd rd. We need to use r1 and get will Campbell and we need cap space to go get drew dalman
Or use a 3rd and go get Khalil Mack back
2 #1's

If we sign a center and two guards in free agency, then yeah, try to swing a deal. Otherwise, we need these picks to grow both lines.
That scenario legit could happen. Smith, Dalman, Zeitler
Na, need to build the oline in draft.

Ofcourse I would love to have him on Bears but the assets and money it would take I believe needs to be used for o-line.
I don't think Ben Johnson would be happy if we traded all of our high picks away for a defensive player
Teams that sell the farm always regret it later keep all the picks draft a stud edge with our 1st pick.
I think it’ll be more of a bidding war between teams that are close to a superbowl they would be willing to sacrifice more then a team that dose have the pics but need to fix more

Hell yeah get Myles Garrett
Mack trade from the bears would be a starting point. Similar age, both elite pass rushers.
It would cripple us for years
Nobody is talking a Trey Lance type deal calm down lol
Take Edmunds and both 2nd round picks
You’d have to give them a 2nd just to take edmunds. Nobody wants that contract.
That would get Garrets right shoe and maybe his mouthpiece.

I still not with giving up ANY draft picks, put a couple together to get a key target but not for a old star.
Garrett did say he wanted to win a SB. The Bears are probably at least a few years from a SB. He probably wants to go to a current contender.
Go young and stay young.
been sub before 30k man, i remember the justin fields video and everything ❤
I say go for it! Try and make it happen. Him, Montez and dexter. Not bad
NO WAY!!....We don't need Jesse Smollett...I mean Myles Garrett, same difference
The draft is too stacked with defensive lineman to give up draft capital for a 30+ pass rusher
I rather keep our picks to fix our o line and draft a pass rusher or pick someone up in free agency
I don’t like the idea of trading out draft picks, I say use cap money for a free agent
This years and next years 1sts.
Make it happen.
Hell no!!!!
Yes. Complete game changer.
@@jatkinson79 Did you forget how much the Khalil Mack trade set the Bears back
Bears should just offer both this years 2’s and next years 1 and give them a deadline. If they don’t take it, oh well. Doesn’t hurt the Bears.
This is 100% necessary. Montez had a down year but is still extremely capable place Myles opposite him improves the entire d line
I don't think one player will sort all our issues, I would keep the picks and gamble
Does anyone remember when GB ( FGB ) had a young developing QB named Favre ,traded for Reggie White from Philly ? SB followed !

OL is the PRIORITY for the Bears ! Ago the Bears drafted Justin Field, the Bears are unable to protect theirs quaterbacks.
Would be great to get him but at 29 he's in his prime right now. He could probably perform at a high level for 2-3 years.
No. We would give up too much draft capital. Im sure it starts with 2 number 1 picks.
He’s 29 though
