*dances* That was so awesome! No, it was beyond awesome! It's be-awesome! I simply love the HG and I hope to be able to play like that someday. ^^ Thanks for sharing!
2:12 i actually thought someone was backing up with a voice! then i realised it was the music he played from the hurdy gurdy that made it sound like that! beautiful!!
You're absolutely right. This tune is typical of the british composer and player Nigel Eaton style. His brother is the famous gurdy builder Chris Eaton.
Nigel Eaton Excuse my wrong. I always confused the relative degree between both of you but I know well that Chris is a fine hurdy gurdy builder and you Nigel a famous player and a good hurdy gurdy composer in the modern style who can speak french too. Do you remenber we had a discussion in a video about a composition of yours "La gloire de mon père".?
@EdwinMarc There's a site called Susato.com that I believe sells the cheapest ones but they're not very good. So I would just recommend saving up to buy a good one which can run you from $1,200-$4,000. It's not really an instrument to be indecisive with lol
I might not speak for all 29 year old women, but I find this incredibly arousing and seducitve. Nigel is hot when he rocks that thing. (Robert Plant's not bad either)
Awesome instrument and awesome player.
That could have very well been the greatest thing I've seen on TH-cam!
i LOVE this performance, i wish people could RAWK out with their HG like this guy does.

I was told of the Hurdy Gurdy...
Then I saw this. Jaw dropper!
thats now my new favorite instrument
is it considered weird that i've been watching/listening to this video for over 2 hours straight
This was absolutely amazing....
I couldn't imagine how tired you are after a show.
I wish they had performed "In The Light" using this guy. It would have been a perfect match.
It's a double keyboard Chris Eaton Luteback based on a 19th Century Jenzat Pattern. Nice bit of kit. Pricey though!
Super legal ! Gostei !
That's so freakin badass!
That rocks pretty hard!
that was awesome
WOW. Amazing!!!

@Bradley Eddie definitely, been watching on Flixzone} for since november myself =)
Headbanging with a hurdy gurdy !
This is (I think) "La Ride" or "Laride" - It's a French traditional "bouree a deux temps" anyway.
Cheers,
Jon
this song is called Laridi...
love it
Как называется инструмент? Тяжело наверно играть? Звучит мощьно. ❤️👍
sounds and feels like watching 'Gladiator'...
¿why not mention Nigel Eaton in title or subtitle? please do.
