Wow that's such an elegant and beautiful hotel. Love the pool area and how it's lit up in the evening.

Thank you, Arthur. The small cabana area just behind the pool was a great spot for a few nibbles and drinks. the hotel- quite a bit of history!

That is one classy hotel! It’s surreal almost like stepping back in time onto a movie set! Thanks for the tour ☺️

Thank you, Pete! The hotel is fairly rich in history, given hosting the first Olympics' athletes.

That decor is too traditional and stuffy, very dated. I don’t know who they’re trying to appeal to with the horrible carpet, rabbit warren of narrow hallways, and small rooms. The drapery and swags are truly horrible. It is definitely not appealing to the vast majority of the under 50 set. Syntagma is a great central location with acres of concrete pavement and chaotic traffic. The restaurant with the Acropolis view looks stunning though…

It’s addressed to people who are sophisticated and wealthy enough, to appreciate this style. For the rest of you plebeians, the world is full of “minimal boutique hotels”, airbnb’s, even camping places.
