Hi Andrew we had a various and sundry of outboards while I was growing up. We had a Mercury just like your older one the 4 cylinder 65 (69 Model new at the time) All outboards pretty much back then required annual change of the foot oil and checking often during the season. We had more than one foot off more than once sometimes two or three times until we got gaskets, sealing, getting parts back as they go and so forth perfected. Please make an oil check routine and often as if you catch it soon enough when water does get in you may avoid major repairs or foot replacement if caught in time. The hint is if the oil looks like milk chocolate it's got to go!. Your boat is a real trooper I watched as you navigated white caps (heavy water for sure) and noticed the old craft has lovely wave breaking and directs the spray away well. She is a lovely craft to be so old. That pair of 65's brings me back to my youth at 18 and I enjoy your videos on the boats and motors because they take me way back and to a time of very fond memories. That old Merc is like the music of heaven when you point it out to open water and nail it!!! Thank you Andrew you are a class act and I respect you so much!
Andrew, its great to watch you fix things. Now that you have a few bucks coming in from youtube ads I would like to make a suggestion of taking a free boat, jet ski or snow mobile and making it all electric. Give it an a/c motor, batteries and a controller off a wrecked electric motorcycle. If anyone could do it you would be the man for the job! That would be amazing!

Facts
Reminds me of the many endless summers I spent on Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire. I miss going there but hope to make it there next summer for what will probably be my final time during my lifetime. Memories!!!! My grandparents owned Beaver Island for more than 20 years and would spend summers up there.
Every time I see you use that orange wrench it reminds me of the tiger camo from call of duty
good job andrew, thanks for keeping the environment clean!
LOL at “I tried to keep him dry.” Levi could find water in Death Valley!
HAHAHA that is so true..😂☮
LOL .. perfect .
Levi such a good dog. You can see it in his eyes just how loyal he is to you Andrew. But you know that already. He's 1 heck of a good sidekick...
The way Levi got out of the boat 😂 poor levi
Whoa that was scary for a moment when Levi went under the dock! Good work Andrew repairing ol' merc and picking up all the trash!
“BAM BAM BAM BAM” *gets it off* “look how smashed it is right there” 😂
David Grisham in my mind I was like “I mean you did just smash it 100 times”
Lmao!
lol
Haha I was thinking the same thing. Who needs specialized Merc tools when you have a pry bar and a hammer.
Love your videos! I was worried About Levi going under the dock. I grew up there where you are. Nice to see home again.
Yeah...Camarata coming's back...have a nice day brother 👍💪
Two big thumbs up and respect for cleaning up on that island where people left there junk behind glad someone out there like you cares and will do something about it.
i got so much anxiety when levi went under the dock
Thank you. Yes, I’ll keep a better eye on that. I haven’t use this boat in a year or two, but it is stored inside
I panicked when Levi went down you are a good man saving your dog with out hesitation and cleaning up the environment you sir are awesome.
That would be amazing!
levi almost drowns one second, the next he is wagging his tail again
Know how Levi felt. One night, after going from bar to taxi to loose boarding steps to San Diego Harbor with boat and dock closing above me, I had to swim under the boat out into the harbor (one click above swimming in your local sewer pond).
Jack Winand he’s a Labrador
Levi almost drowns, and one second later, he is wagging his tail
@@googleguy5700 a loooong time ago in high school we got Scuba certified. For the final bit of the class, we headed out to somewhere around the San Diego Harbor. It was not quite the same as the clear HS pool or the Jacques Cousteau shows on TV. Dark, oily, seaweed filled horror movie of an outing lmao.
Levi almost drowns. One second later he is wagging his tail again.
Levi is just chillin . haha glad he's alright . Impressed by your shop man. you seem to always be able to make things work
Finally! He's back!
His videos are classic
What an Awesome Boat! Totally Stylin! Also, good job on cleaning up your destination spot and Levi is an awesome Buddy!
