Hi Lauren! I am a Jewish viewer of yours, Matzos is usually eaten with butter. The reason that matzos isn’t for Passover is because it does have yeast in it. Normal Matzos for Passover doesn’t, because during Passover the only “bread” we eat is Matzos. Hopes this helps!

I love this. Actually, bread snack is more common than you think. Mother told me that in Paris they actually buy baguettes and walk eating them. Some rub garlic in the baguette to make garlic bread. Baguette is one of my favorite bread. I love the more "crunchy in the outside and soft in the inside" type of bread, those are on my top list!
In France we also eat "flute" it's better as a snack when it comes to bread and it's very crunchy, but.. yeah when it comes to bread in general, baguette is alwas way to go ^^ especially the rustic ones (they are bit more expensive but has stonger flavour).

So happy as a Jew that you tasted challah! Homemade challah is amazing and I believe it tasted better with soft butter over hard butter! Also as far as matzah goes the reason it’s not kosher for Passover is because of the salt. Matzah has multiple uses. You have to get creative around Passover such as making sandwiches, pizza, matzah brei which is similar to French toast, just straight up putting soft butter on it, etc. Love your videos. I feel like bread tastes differently when it's warmed up or toasted. I love sourdough but only when it's toasted and/or used as the bread for a sandwich. There's something about the taste that adds flavor to it. Plus white bread only tastes better when toasted too lol
Lauren, you NEED to try tiger bread. I know you'll love it. It is very popular in the UK and it's so buttery and fresh. Tiger bread is crunchy on the outside and magnificently soft on the inside - as soon as you bite it, it would be like biting into a cloud.
I'd love for Lauren to try how bad so many gluten free breads are. Here in the UK, so many have to be toasted to make them even useable instead of a dry crumbly mess
@Scottish Lassie I usually get schar ciabatta rolls, but Warburtons have just released gluten free soft brioche rolls, and they're not dry. Where I live you don't get gluten free bakery bread in any Tesco I've been to in the Highlands, and I've not come across it in Edinburgh or Glasgow either

I'm not used to bread having milk in it, so I was really glad I double checked the ingredients because I can't have dairy either. In Germany we have a bread that’s called “Seele” and translated would mean ‘soul’. It’s long like a baguette with salt, rosemary and cumin. You should try it. :D And the best thing. You can say you eat souls for breakfast. 🥖
Ciabatta bread, from what I know, is one of the types of breads that fall under the umbrella term of "Italian bread". They're VERY great for soup/broth kinds of foods, I personally prefer it with chili. I love folding it much like a hotdog bun to fill it with chili, or even something like a beef stew.

It just looks and sounds like it’s pronounced as “Mat-so” instead of “Mot-za” because people don’t swap some of the letters when pronouncing something new.
I'm not sure if this is common outside of the southern Florida/hispanic community, but id want to see what Lauren would think of cuban bread, it's literally my favorite bread! Since she seems to like softer breads she'd def have to try it when it's fresh cause it does harden up over time, but I love it either way ESPECIALLY with butter and more specifically tostada with cafe con leche.

Fun fact (also kinda my opinion) : Sour dough tastes.. DELICIOUS, as garlic bread. How to make it: The ingredients you’ll need are, Sour dough bread, crushed garlic, Parmesan cheese, and butter. First things first, take your bread and spread butter all around it and put it in the oven for about 5 minutes. Then take it out. Add Parmesan cheese along the bread. Next add your crushed garlic evenly across the bread. Now put it back in the oven for 3-5 minutes. And your done! (Let the oven broil a bit before you put the bread in…)

Honestly I agree with most of your list, except I personally find sourdough as a decent bread and would put it in the middle. I'm not sure if this is common outside of the southern Florida/hispanic community, but id want to see what Lauren would think of cuban bread, it's literally my favorite bread! Since she seems to like softer breads she'd def have to try it when it's fresh cause it does harden up over time, but I love it either way ESPECIALLY with butter and more specifically tostada with cafe con leche.

Fun fact (also kinda my opinion) : Sour dough tastes.. DELICIOUS, as garlic bread.
How to make it: The ingredients you’ll need are, Sour dough bread, crushed garlic, Parmesan cheese, and butter.
First things first, take your bread and spread butter all around it and put it in the oven for about 5 minutes. Then take it out.
Add Parmesan cheese along the bread. Next add your crushed garlic evenly across the bread. Now put it back in the oven for 3-5 minutes.
And your done! (Let the oven broil a bit before you put the bread in…)

Honestly I agree with most of your list, except I personally find sourdough as a decent bread and would put it in the middle. I haven't had brioche in a long time but I'll take your word for it because I love the softer and sweeter breads (hence why banana bread is one of my all time favorites lol)
