    All that hard work from Brown gone down the drain. Abreau has been shaky these last few games so I'm not surprised this happened to him.

      Felt like watching a Dusty game again. Put in pitcher who's clearly off, wait until the game is thoroughly lost, then replace him when it's pointless.

    Alright this one is on Espada, idk wtf he was thinking leaving Abreu in when he clearly didn't have it tonight. We could have won this game.

      Agreed idc if ur up 3 or 4 runs u put Pressly I'm and then Hader get ur win u do it as if ur winning by alot if ur up by 4 runs or less u don't take the chance. All it takes is one grand slam to tie or take the lead isn't worth risking it

    So the offense finally gets its shit together and now we don't have a single pitcher who can manage the 8th inning with consistency.
    Just great lol.

      Finally a game you can legitimately blame Espada for losing. He channeled his inner Dusty and left Abreu in until he was certain the game was lost.

    • @imnotcreativeenoughh
      @imnotcreativeenoughh 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @bobbygetsbanned6049
      You know, I feel like I've said this before, but I'll say it again just in case....I've never said Espada is a bad manager, nor blamed him for anything this year. And honestly I don't even think this was really his fault tonight. Abreu just choked. I mean there's the 3 batter minimum so he couldn't pull him til the bases were loaded anyway, and considering how good he's been this year, Espada trusted him to get out of the inning with the lead still. It didn't work out. It happens.
      My issue has only and always ever been that I just got SO tired of everyone bitching and bitching about Dusty no matter how successful he was, and blaming everything on him. Didn't matter how many injuries we had last year, didn't matter how many injuries we had in 2021, and it didn't matter that we won a championship in 2022. Everything was his fault, and we'd be soooo much better off without him. I'm just frustrated that a decent manager was essentially run out of town and now Espada is having the same exact kind of season as Dusty last year, yet now so many of the Dusty haters, like yourself, want to allow Espada the injury excuse or just say "well the players just aren't performing".
      That's all it's ever been. I'm fine with Espada, although I'll definitely be critical if we don't make the ALCS at the very least this year.

      @@imnotcreativeenoughh Why after Abreu coughs up the game is Espada now in front of a firing squad? Where were all his detractors when the Astros caught and passed up the Mariners? I think the jury should be out on Espada until Astros season ends. Then we can all bitch or praise the guy.

    • @bobnewfart
      @bobnewfart 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@ktcarl I agree, I think he has done a hell of a job for what he has to work with this season.

    • @imnotcreativeenoughh
      @imnotcreativeenoughh 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @ktcarl well for starters, I hope you don't mean me, because I just said that I think Espada is fine and don't even blame him for last night.
      As for everyone else blasting him right now? Same reason Dusty got constantly blamed. Because they don't understand the sport and all they see is "he didn't pull Abreu". Don't think about how that affects your bullpen in coming games if you just pull a reliever every single time they get in to trouble, don't think about the 3 batter minimum, and can't comprehend that in 162 games, you're just gonna have bad ones. Just complain about the manager as if somehow they know better from the couch having not played organized sports since they were 12.

    No me asombra para nada que le hallan ganado el juego de esa manera a Abreu. Lleva montón de juegos teniendo tremenda suerte de que no lo reventarán así. Siempre se complica muchos, muchas bases por bolas y batazos largos.

    People say Abreau this Abreau that. He isn't all that he doesn't have nothing but fastballs all in all that's about it. It is really time to look really hard and see what relievers have the right stuff. From what i have seen there are 3 that needs to kick rocks.

    They left too many guys stranded in the 3rd and 2nd baess! No reason you can’t score at least 1 run when you have guys ready to score on the 3rd and 2nd bases with only 1 out! Simply poor hitting when it counted the most! Time after time they out-hit the opponents by a big margin, but can’t bring their own teammates home when they had their teammates in the scoring positions! So frustrating !

    Can't hit shit for two games, and all of the sudden, they prance on fastballs up on the eyes like center cut sliders? Watch them in the 8th, they weren't even tracking the ball, they knew what the pitches were before they were thrown. This is how Baltimore wins their games in the 7th or later. That's when they decide to steal signs.
